Upon his constant persistence his parents let him go to Duel Academy, where he quickly made it to Ra Yellow dorm. He is entering the tourney hoping for a good time and a challenge. Tyson spent all his free time dueling other kids in the Tops. Sometimes when Tyson gets extremely mad, the monsters and all the damage turn real. He tries to prevent this from happening by keeping in his negative emotions. Since he does this, he appears to be a happy go lucky kind of guy.
