zaneko
Taiga sat quietly just inside one of the off-shooting tunnels of the pit. It had been a little over two month weeks since he was sentenced to Hazard prison. In that time, he got to know the layout as much as he possibly could. So far, he concludd that the pit was the best place to be if he wanted to break out. Unfortunately, the seals on his gate were stronger than he had anticipated. He glared pointedly at the seals that hung on each hand: an armring on each bicep and four wristbands. Ten locks to pick without the right tools. Great. When he was caught, he decided to make the best of the situation, namely; break out and seal information of the place the toe highest bidder. At worst he would only make enough to buy one or two penthouse apartments. He idly tried forming the vault interface. All he got was a golf-ball sized sphere of layered tags. Not open enough to get out a key. Turning back to the situation at hand, he tried another wire to see if it could pick the lock. Charging it with a bit of magic, he got to work. It was fired when the desending elevator distracted him. Hayate Masaru. The guy sentenced to seven life sentences. Not that that was long to a guy with a 2000 year life span, but still... He was one of the best possible partners for Taiga's future break-out. He'd be even more helpful if that blindfold was removed, but Taiga really needed to break his own seals first. Burying his wires in a bit of dust, he ambled out and grabbed the keys to Hayate's cuffs. "Welcome back," he said pleasantly to Hayate. "I, the great locksmith Taiga, shall take the honor of undoing those rather restrictive braclets of yours." A quick turn or two had the cuffs snapping open and Taiga tossed them aside. "All better now, I suppose," he grinned, though he knew the alien wouldn't see. He also took the opportunity to examine the blindfolds tha sealed away the man's power. encapturer
"I told you to stop asking questions! Don't make me throw you in the pit!" Today was not a good day for Noea; none of the guards were forthcoming with information about the outside world. A shame, too, since some guards returned from the ongoing war, with Hayate in tow. He was interesting to say the least, so she began collecting information on him. She knew he was an alien who was sentenced to seven life sentences, which was quite the misnomer due to how long his race usually lives for. She even knew where his weapon was stored; a shapeshifting sword of unknown origin, from what she heard. When she snooped around to find that out, she was thrown into the pit, since apparently information is controlled by the guards in prison. While she was known as 'The Reporter' here (among other, less savory nicknames), some have started calling her 'The Reporter Who Can Break Your Jaw' after an incident from when she was in the pit. An awkward name, but descriptive enough; she really did break the jaw of one of the three that assaulted her. Even now, she had no idea where those fighting instincts came from. Her memories of her past were all jumbled up, sometimes scenes of the past surfaced, confusing her more. The man she presumably killed looked genuinely happy in her memory, confusing her as well as the resident psychiatrist. Some of the more friendly inmates have offered various explanations, none making sense in her current situation. She hasn't given up her search for that truth, it's just that she needs to get out of prison first. "What have I told you about snooping around?!!" One of the guards said as he grabbed Noea by her prison garb, then grabbing onto her upper arm. She didn't resist, if one of the guards decided you were doing wrong, then you were doing wrong. It didn't help that her antics here have made her presence more visible, making it harder to... well... snoop around. Her curiosity was not welcome, and she was about to pay for it. "This time, you're going into the pit!" the guard said, before yanking Noea off towards the elevator down. On the way there, she spotted a female guard walking past, who she recognized as the one who took that alien Hayate down into the pit. Anarchy down below, Tyranny up above, she thought to herself as she rode down the elevator, restrained by that guard, soon to be thrown into the pit as well. Hope I don't get attacked *this* time... Ultimate Assassin Ninjew
Azera sat against one of the walls in the pit. This was his 'usual' spot considering he barely moved from the spot. The only times he did move were to eat and drink, use the bathroom or when the guards came down the elevator. When Hayate was brought down from another trip, Azera stood up and walked towards him. He then noticed Taiga approach him as well and un do his cuffs. "So, what did the King want this time. For you to kill some little prick who was trying to hurt him," Azera mused. Sometimes Azera wondered why he was in this pit since his felony was not as bad as some others. Then he remembered that his abilities and threat were just as bad as a crime. Then he noticed Noea come down as well. "Lots of visitors today," he said to himself. He returned his attention to Hayate. "So tell me about your trip. The outside world must have changed a little since your last visit. It's been a long time since I've even felt fresh air, I've been down here so long," he stated. Maghion Syaoran Light
"This is only my first offense"Andrew kept thinking to himself. "surely they can't send me to jail" But like it or not, he is being leaded to his cell with two pairs of orange shirts and beige khakis, a worn out blanket, and a flat pillow. "Hey there princess", "First time in the rodeo?", "I can offer protection for a price". Andrew knew this was coming: he read about it before his sentencing. They see fresh meat, so they will size you up and intimidate you. "Knock out the first person who bothers you" he remembered his close friend saying. "You are guaranteed rep, and to survive prison, rep is your life line"Sure Andrew is good with speed and stealth, but in an enclosed prison, will it really help? Andrew lacks in strength and the ability to handle pain. He knows he would not survive prison for his short, but long sentence. "Here we are, cell 170369" The fat guard said. He then scanned his thumb on a nearby pad and it opened the white cell door. No cell mate, Andrew noticed. Maybe if he continue on without a cell mate, he'll be ok."Your cell mate will arrive soon". The guard promised, shattering his last string of hope. "Now listen up, you are in a minimal security area. This means you are free to wader around as long as you are in your cell by 9, in cafeteria by 5 and 12 and 8 morning. Other than that, there is the mess hall, library, the yard, and church." The guard informed me. "We offer jobs, we have a store for your personal needs. Use your imagination."At that, he slammed the door closed, leaving Andrew alone in this small, cold hole in a wall. It is occupied by a desk and a bunk bed. Weary and tired from hours of traveling in chains and being processed, Andrew collapsed unto the bed and closed his eyes... Andx
Thenalith simply stared blankly as he shuffled about in the working level. His offense was probably pathetic compared to some others. He had attacked, not killed, a few men in a shady organization he'd been working for. Of course he did it all to get into the prison in the first place so he didn't feel it was necessary to get a huge sentence on his head. He'd been sentenced to twenty years, harsh for simply assault but that organization could sure push sentences they wanted. Anything higher than twenty years was unreasonable to the courts however. Of course the prison had figured out rather quickly that he was an alien and had attempted all sorts of things to discover his power, they hadn't succeeded yet. Thenalith had always been careful not to show his powers to those who didn't need to see it. As such his shapeshifting was still an option to him but if he ever used it he knew he'd be attacked by several guards on the spot. Now his name, at least to anyone in the prison, was Damian Wagner. It was the name he had taken upon entering the organization and it was the name he was charged under. He knew that only two or three others knew his actual name and one of them was to be coming back today. Hayate was the leader of their little group. In truth they hadn't done much yet and Hayate had been gone several times. From what Thenalith had been able to gather he was off fighting for someone. Thenalith had no more time on the working floors and was being escorted back to the pit. It seemed odd, his crime was one that wouldn't normally lead to the pit but he was put there anyway. It seemed that whenever and alien was sentenced they were put down there."Well the pit's always an interesting place to go. At least Hayate will be there. Man, I need some excitement around here." Thenalith thought.
Naimo
Perhaps an advtange of being a Thyrakk was that you were often left undisturbed - not to mention you became some kind of mini-Emperor/Empress, considering how everybody ran off, startled at your height. Not that you had any real powers, of course - Thyrakks would never be able to perform magic, even if it was to save their lives. For Uugokk though, having once been the Throkk of a sixty-strong colony, the vast majority being males and all eager to be the father of the next Throkk, it was a change from being the mightiest to the smallest. Still, she was used to it, having spent some time in the prison anyway. Typically, no one else was a Thyrakk; in fact, the most common seemed to be aliens and humans, from Uugrokk's perspective. She was troubled as to how the colony was getting on without her; now that she was gone, Grogakk'Thyr - her then-second-in-command - was surely acting as the Grokk'Throkk - literally, Temporary Throkk - taking over the colony's affairs whilst awaiting the true Throkk's return. Until her return, Uugrokk would have to be content with being trapped. "Aahk Alkah'Throkk gruukh, grohk'ihk ierkht," Uugrokk kept muttering to herself, speaking her native language, Sak'hra. If she had spoken in English - which she was perfectly capable of - it would have translated to "As the past Throkk said, patience is a virtue". Damiano Tosē
Arato AchihaIt has been the first 3 months ever since Arato Achiha, one of the most strongest assassins and hitman in his hometown, was sentenced to the pit for 25 years. Hazard Security Prison was the bloodiest prison in histroy, as he was told. But one night on the 3rd month of March made Arato's life turned around sharper the a drunk driver turning on a intersection. Arato stood alone in his cell at night time, 12:30 a.m., when a blind light was blinded him from his window. A man then appeared in Arato's cell when the blind light had stopped. The old man appeared to be around 100 years of age but Arato could not tell. "What do you want from me?" Arato as he backed up until he hit the bed. The man pointed at Arato and said this, "you... are the... one." The old man as he laid on the ground dead. "I'm the one? The one for what? What do you mean?" Arato questioned the old man but as his dead body laid on the ground, he did not say one word. Arato then touched the old man as a white light bursted from the old man's body. The light then turned to darkness as it swirled around Arato's arm and went inside through the skin. Arato then screamed in pain as he moved around, touching his face. His whole appearance changed that night. Beautiful vanailla white skin, smooth as a baby's bottom, snow white short hair, wearing a black long coat, collar tag popped up, black pants and black athletic shoes. He saw his hand as black lightning swirled around it. He touched the bars with both hands as it turned to ice and broke. He then touched the ice as it recreated the original cell bars. Arato looked in the mirror as everything about him changed. He jumped in the air as he stayed there for a couple of minutes, it occured to him that he cn also fly. He thought he was a superhero but he was actually a magician of dark magic. He then landed on the ground and changed into his jail clothes. Nighttime was still in effect as he slept in his bed at 1:30 pm.
Jeroukoo
"General we must let our engines cool off." Ken'Tak looked at the lieutenant then looked away. "Then let them cool off." "Yessir!" The Lieutenant went over to the intercom quickly and gave the orders to turn off the hyper speed. Great, I can finally enjoy the scenery. The rush of the hyper speed can sometimes annoy you. Jason looked around him and saw nothing much around him except the local system. The Local system... that doesn't ring a bell to me much. I should look up the races living here. That could kill some time for me. Jason stood up and turned around. His crew were busily working on staying on course, some doing other nefarious tasks. Ken'Tak was proud of his crew, it was good enough, not the best, but good enough. They crew then stood up like he was going to announce something and Ken'Tak replied with a nod. The crew returned to their positions and Jason walked to the library section of the ship, trying to learn about the new Local system.
Guest Tainted Black
Black stood, in chains, in his little corner of the pit he had claimed. People knew better than to screw around with him. Unlike one would think, he still had the same cheshire grin plastered on his face that he was sentenced in. The guards said they had never seen him without it. He chuckled to himself. It was all an act. Yes, he loved smiling, and yes, he was truly insane, even he knew this, but... he was trying to scare them more. When he escaped from this place, which he steadily planned, he'd take out that accursed warden. He'd use him for his experiments. He had the other bodies ready as well. They were in the morgue, but they could be summoned at the drop of a pin to fight for him. His grin grew wider as he thought this. "Just a few more days...." He thought and laughed aloud. Damiano Tosē
Arato AchihaArato heard the sinister, loud laughing coming from the next cell. It would use his new magic powers to break through these walls easy but since the walls were solid block, it would take a huge amount of magic to do so. Morning came, sun has risen and it was 8:30 pm. The security guards opened all the cells as each inmate, including Arato, was chained from wrist to ankle. Everybody was released outside for a little free time. Arato still had on his long black coat with the collar tag flipped up. Arato went alone to a quiet place and held out his hand from his pocket. Black Lightning still swirled around his hand but quickly disappeared. "I have to get out of here. Too many witnesses lurking in every direction." Arato said as he looked everywhere for a way out. Unfortunately he had no luck at all. "Just a few more days." He said as he walked back out into the open sun. The sun shined bright on all the prisoners in the pit. Arato looked around to see if anyone else was special like him. He could sense a few but decided not to interfere.
PrimalFear
Hayate had been standing against that wall for a little while. At first, he'd searched on the ground for the key, a task made all the more difficult by his blindness and currently bound state. Having been to the pit on numerous occasions, Hayate was used to the routine of searching for the key. On Good days, he would find it easily, unlock himself, and move on with pit life as usual. On most days he would be unable to find it before one of the other inmates found it, and he would proceed to steal it from them after beating some sense into them. On Bad days, he would be in the process of taking it from one of the inmates, but they would drop it again before he could, starting the process over again. On extremely bad days, like today, They would drop it into the pile of sand in the middle of the pit. Relying on his ears mainly to find the key, when it fell into the sand, he could not hear its location. The sound of metal against stone never reached him and so he leaned back against the wall, his wrists still secured tightly behind his back, waiting. Right now he longed for nothing more then a good nap. Normally he would do like most pit dwellers, and alight to one of the half finished cells. They were fitted with the iron bars and sliding doors like the cells above, but most weren't furnished, and some weren't even dug out all the way. The handcuffs, when removed from ones wrists, could be used to secure the sliding door shut, and thus keep ones self safe from the other prisoners, guards, or anything else that might pray on you while you slept. It was dangerous to enter the caverns of the pit while still bound. The majority of the prisoners there were violent by nature, and very, very bored. The combination was not generally a pretty one. So Hayate stood in the entrance of the pit, waiting for someone else to either be dropped down, or to venture out of the caverns or cells, so that he might coax them into giving him the key. Just then Hayate could hear a person come closer toward the opening to the pit where he was now leaning against the wall. "Welcome back," the man said pleasantly to Hayate. "I, the great locksmith Taiga, shall take the honor of undoing those rather restrictive bracelets of yours." A quick turn or two had the cuffs snapping open and Taiga tossed them aside."All better now, I suppose," Taiga grinned, though he knew the alien wouldn't see. He also took the opportunity to examine the blindfolds tha sealed away the man's power. Hayate turned his head slightly as the Taiga unlocked the cuffs that kept him bound. He could hear another person approaching from the caves in the pit. At that moment he heard a voice that sounded quite familiar. "So, what did the King want this time. For you to kill some little prick who was trying to hurt him," the newest person mused. Hayate recognized the voice, "Ahh Azera you where a bit late to free me, seems Taiga here has all ready done that, and you all ready know I am forbidden to speak of the things I am asked to do for the King." Just then the whir of the lift alerted them to a new arrival, and from the sound of the fall, they were new to the pit. He heard the newcomer spit the sand from her mouth, and move against the opposite wall.
encapturer
Noea rubbed her shoulder as she stood up from the ground. The fact that the guards were rough with the prisoners hasn't quite sunk in yet, among other things. She knew she was being punished for that murder, but not everyone here was a murderer, or anything near one. Of course she tried to find out the reason when she first came, but the guards just laughed her off. She had since learned that there are questions that should not be asked, they'll just cause trouble. Fortunately, not many remember her embarrassing first days. Noea's eyes did not land on Hayate yet, she instead looked around at the other people. A few glanced at her with large grins on their faces, probably those who weren't around for her last bout in this pit. She'll deal with those if it comes to that. She felt hunger set in, but earlier Noea learned that she could stave off hunger easily if she didn't think about it. She'll just have to eat that much more later. After all, she did not want to eat just yet. Hayate had a small group of prisoners surrounding him, though Noea could not make out what any of them were speaking about. It didn't matter, though, unless it was about the outside, and Hayate was forbidden to speak about it. How annoying, she thought to herself as she approached the group. As she did, the prisoners who were eyeing her went back to their own business. "Anything happen on the way back...Hayate?" Noea asked inquisitively, pausing only because she forgot that Hayate could not see her looking in his direction as she spoke. She stood nearby, though she had a clear view of him. "There's have to be something you could tell!" she continued, digging into a pocket in the pants, before revealing a small pad, and a pen.
Jeroukoo
As Ken'Tak walked towards to the study. Halfway to the study there was a giant blast that shook the ship. Ken'Tak was flung across the ship, luckily hitting the wall. The term was used loosely. He probably broke a bone or two when he hit the wall. "Sir! Its an ambush!" The lieutenant ran to Ken'Tak but was stopped in his tracks. Well it was more like explosion then stopping. A giant gap was now through the ship. Ken'Tak tried to get up. He successfully did the procedure and grabbed the mask to his right. He strapped on the pack and he held onto the pipe that ripped off the ground. His grip was not enough apparently, he was sucked into the planet's below gravity field. After that he couldn't remember.
Ultimate Assassin Ninjew
"Yes it does seem that way Hayate," Azera said, "You know I always ask that anyway. Even if you never say anything." Then he noticed the person who just entered the pit walk over. So he whispered to Hayate, "This girl is going to get so annoying. But she could provide for a good distraction in our plan of escape." He watched he ask the question that was roughly the same as his. As she removed the pen and paper. 'She isn't serious I hope,' he thought to himself. zaneko
Taiga twirled the keys on his finger. Hayate wasn't the talkative type it seemed. Aside from that, Taiga still wondered what to do about the set of keys in his hand. He doubted that Hayate needed them, so he pocketed it. He would use it later to pick the locks. An actual key would work wonders on it. More prisoners had gathered as he removed the lock. A couple even came to take notes. They really want to know about the outside world, don't they? Taiga thought with a wry grin. He focused his attention back to the blindfold. not only was the knot intertwined with spells, the material itself had binding spells in it, and another overlying seal to lock everything together. Not that it was impossible to break. In fact, he already a had a few approaches worked out. All he needed was fifteen minutes with it and Hayate's consent, or not, as the case may be. "Come now, Hayate" Taiga urged as he continued his examination. "You must have some news to tell us of the outside world."
