Guest Random Dude
Someone mispronounces game or character names like Mario and Pokemon. You say it like you see it, don't try too hard.
Lazer Yoshi
Me and my friend used to argue about how to pronounce Pokemon like Flygon and Charizard. Good times.
GraveHorizon
Who would ever seriously pronounce Mario wrong? And I'm sure there are tons of people who pronounce it Po-key-mon rather than Po-keh-mon, myself included sometimes. When it comes to the Pokemon names, I usually get them right. Some of them I just call how I see them even if I don't know, like Bonsly or Rayquaza. Bonsly -> bonzai tree, therefore it should rhyme. And Rayquaza looks to me like Ray-qua(ntum)-zuh. Forget the movie. It kind of irritates me frequently when people say Rai-oo when talking about Ryu from Street Fighter. It's Japanese, it should rhyme with the letter Q. Aibara
When I was younger, I "argued" with my friends, because of some Pokemon names. For ex. Macoke. They were saying it Machokee(something like Machoki). Or they were saying Flygon--> Fligon... It, just, doesn't sound good! But we don't argue anymore... I mean who cares about Pokemon, now?!?!
