((Much obliged. We are officially started(btw Mr. Wham, you're aang, but i'm starting the thread off with anng. after this post you gain control of him)))((oh btw I'm Zuko))

'Water' Aang felt the energy gather up within him as he moved his arms to the side, bringing up a small tendril of water from the small pond beside him. He waved him arms back and forth, shaping and unshaping the water, before finally condensing it into a ball that he held above his head. 'Earth' He shifted stances, and brought his arms up close to his body. He reached out with his Chi, and brought out a large chunk of rock. He squeezed his body together, tightening his stance, and crushing the rock into a small ball, the size of the ball of water. He sent it to hover above him by his ball of water. 'Fire' He took a deep breath and leapt a half-step forward, thrusting out one of his arms, and emitting a large blast of fire. With his palm, his twisted his arms backward, reining in the fire, and condensing it. He sent the newly created ball of fire above his head. 'Air' This one was the easiest for him. He drew a deep breath, and exhaled, before spinning quickly in place, waving his arms above his head, manipulating the air. He brought his arms in, condensing the free air into a ball. He sent that ball to hover above his head. He backed away and looked at the small balls, now feet away from him. Suddenly, without warning, he sent the water ball colliding into the earth, then quickly shifted stances, and sent those two careening into the fire. The ball of air came next, growing in size and encompassing the other balls. The four balls tightened together, simultaneously strengthening each other and dominating each other as Aang shifted between the stances. He took a quick breath, and his eyes glowed sliver, before returning to normal. Anng thrust out his hands, sending all four elements crashing into a cliff as a torrent of elements. The whole Cliffside broke apart and crashed to the ground, and Anng calmly lowered his hands to the side.

"Nice job," Zuko said as he came up beside Aang. "Your firebendings has gotten better. But that's not why I'm here." Zuko looked calmly over the barren landscape. "We've called a meeting, to discuss our plan of action. It's been a year since the crash. We've waited long enough. Its time to act." With that, Zuko walked away, Anng close behind him.

Katara was sitting crossed legged on a cliff. She stared at the water hundreds of feet below her. She overheard Zuko and ran after them. "Well, what are we supposed to do?" She asked. She had been feeling very helpless, vunerable, but most of all hopless ever since the crash. "We have no way of knowing where Ozai, Azula, and anybody who follows them are. Then suppose we do catch them, then what the world is practically falling apart. There's no way things will ever be back to normal." She said staring at the ground sounding very depressed. Katara looked up at Zuko. "There's absolutly nothing we can do."

"Katara don't say that," Aang said with his voice cracking. He was becoming more mature now as he was faced with different decisions. "This comet...it has caused tremendous amounts of destruction and broke the world apart. There ais no desire for people to do anything but survive. The nations have fallen. But we will use this to what we can. If the people want to survive, we will give them there homes to live in again. If they need shelter, we can make one. We can gather food, water, and travel. And along the way we will find benders. Benders who want to be at there homes enjoyinhg the solace that they once had. We shalll seacrh for survivors and......WE WILL rebuild our world. Better than it was before too," Aang said with a solemn smile. He knew the idea he proposed was absoulutely insane and prepostorous, but sometyhing needed to be done. Something would have to if any of them wanted to make it out there.

Zuko smiled to himself. It had been a long time since anyone had been hopeful in their group; a long time since anyone had given any kind of inspirational speech. It felt good. Then he sobered up when he remebered how bad the world was. Tears welled up into his eyes, and he balled his hands into fist. 'Mai' he though, pain evident on his features.

"You coming Zuko?" Anng asked, who had noticed his reaction. Aang didn't miss much these days; Zuko had realized that by now. He nodded, and motioned for them to go on without him. They left, and he took a deep breath to steady himsefl, allowing only one tear to escape, which was hastily wiped away. He then walked into the tent where they were meeting.

Katara saw the small tear that escaped from Zuko's eye but didn't say anything and walked into the tent silently. ((Is anyone controlling Sokka. Just asking.)) Sokka examining a sword he brought before the comet hit, never finding his metorite sword after he lost it on the fire nation airship, before Aang stopped Ozai. It had become his prized possenion, after his boomerang of course. "Is it time?" He asked and Katara nodded without saying a word and sat beisde him. "Well guys, what's the plan?" Sokka asked putting his sword inside its sheath.

((If anyone has any objections to my character having found Sokka's sword, they should say as such. Otherwise, I'll just hand it over to him when my character shows up sometime in the next few posts.))

Iatsu had traveled for a long time in the past year, and he sometimes wondered if he should just give in. As a child, he had always been upbeat; cheerful even, despite the fact that all of the Air Benders had to live in hiding. He heard that the avatar had fought with the Fire Lord and had several times thought, 'The avatar? Impossible. He disappeared a hundred years ago.' However, now that Sozins comet had crashed into the earth, he was doing the very thing that he had silently scorned the Fire Nation soldiers and the defamed Prince Zuko for doing. He was trying to find the avatar. He had no idea where to look, of course. The only thing he knew was that they were bound to be somewhere in the earth kingdom. He was walking along the Earth Kingdoms shore where the last battle had taken place, feeling a deep pain in his chest at the unbelievable amounts of devastation. As he walked along something caught his eye, a burnt sheath and sword. Picking it up and partially unsheathing it, he found it to be a singularly unique sword unlike any other that he had ever seen before. That's strange. Who would leave something like this here? Deciding to take it with him Iatsu slings it over his shoulder and and readjusts it so that the sheath would sit a little more comfortably. Having finished with that, he opens his glider and tosses it forward, manipulating the air so as to cause his glider to do a somersault. As it approaches behind him, he jumps off of the ground and lands on it riding it upward on the wind as though he was surfing on it and continuing his search, the Fire Nation balloon that he had used to get this far left at the shoreline where he had landed it.

((I think that's an awesome idea.))

Sokka looked to Zuko and Aang and stood up. "Okay here's what I'm thinking." He said commandingly. He had taken on more responsibilty ever since Aang defeated the Fire Lord. After that he was under command of Northern Water Tribe solider's if any nation stepped out of line again. He had resigned his position after the crash to travel with his friends once more and to try and stop Ozai. He unrolled a scroll onto the ground revealing a map. "We are here." Sokka pointed to a spot on the shore of the Northern Water Tribe. (( How's that?)) "I've gotten reports of a recent attack here in the Earth Kingdom." He pointed to the shore of the Earth Kingdom not far from some Fire Nation islands. "Ozai and his group are mostly likely traveling across the shore's trying to recruit and those who won't will probably either be held prisoner or possibly killed."

((I am supposed to control Sokka but we all can use him))

"But since we know everyone or most everyone that is left alive either hates, worships or is petrified of the Fire Lord, its more likely that he will kill everyone there. I do agree with you Sokka though we should make our way there, but I need to take a trip to the Swamp. I wish to find out if Jet is still alive. Katara, I know he is not the most favorable of allies but he will be necessary. Who knows, we may even find more people on our way. So what do you say guys the Northern Water Tribe and the Swamps." Aang contemplated the balance that had been disrupted as he went on pacing back and forth. He had known that Sokka had lost his sword and it had been towards them Swamps. But he also knew the connection to the Spirit World was incredible there. It would provide him with the guidance he needed to help this world survive.
