GraveHorizon
Another name change? NOOOOOOOOOO(I really shouldn't even be surprised at this point anymore)OOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Sin was a great name! Are they planning on releasing support cards for the different monsters? From what I understand, some of them are identical except for attack and the monster they're based on. And how is "Malefic" really pronounced? I see it as muh-LEH-fic, like Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty but with a hard "c" sound. Hard to tell with the different spellings y'all use, but either way it's not nearly as good as Sin.

GraveHorizon
Another name change? NOOOOOOOOOO(I really shouldn't even be surprised at this point anymore)OOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Sin was a great name! If they had to change anything at all to avoid religious groups complaining' date=' it was Sin and you know it...[/quote'] My real problem isn't (entirely) with Konami for censoring the cards; I understand they have to answer to someone. It's with the people who managed to get them censored in the first place. It's a freaking card game! With text! Sin = Malefic = Douche character. Who cares? My brain explodes due to their ignorance. I know there's nothing I can really do about it, and that it doesn't truly affect much at all, but every time I find out they censor a card I die a little inside. EDIT: Post rant: The religious groups should have been happy it was named Sin to start with. Think of all the converts they could have brought in from the masses who read it and thought "Sin. As in religion? I know, I'll go to church! Praise the Lord for opening my eyes through this silly children's card game!"

GraveHorizon
Wouldn't weeaboo be more accurate if he wanted the names in Japanese? All I see is someone wanting the translated original meaning, the Japanese doesn't figure into it at all. The censored names are just as senseless as the original, but they're all half-ass and lame. OT: Anyone found a use for the Sin cards yet?

Sin had so much connotation, power and hidden meaning; Malefic is juts another shallow synonym. Another name change?
