RRRRRAAAAAEEEEEGGGGG!!!!! [Ancient Gear Golem]

Recommended Posts

If you use Hardened Armed Dragon to tribute this you got one heck of a beatstick, outside of UAGG and Trade-In/Overdragon food, it hardly ever gets summoned, I'm assuming back when it was realeased they thought it to be broken, with those stats and piercing, so they stuck anti SS on him, but then they made Gadjitron Dragon, which does what he does, minus the piercing ( when Ss)

KONAMI NEEDS TO RELEASE GEAR STATUE ALREADY! >:U

......And why must Trojan Horse have 1600ATK?

was giving it 100 more ATK really needed? >___>

It's called "Statute", but I agree with you.

OT: This card is bittersweet. Can't SS is bad, 2-Tribute is annoying but fixable, piercing and Limited Trap avoidance is good, support is better, Fusion = WIN.

Outclassed by the Dragon, but I do like its peircing.

Seriously, I really like playing ancient gears but they feel slow + inconsistant. They need more support for people to realize how good this card actually is.

(I don't like the "Cannot be Special Summoned" part).

a supermega nimble hamster deck that swarms along with dandylions, gravekeeper's, nimble momongas for tribute fodder. Lol but I would rather run a monarch based deck then this dumb thing.

Well I guess you can use it in a gear golem deck? It wouldn't be competitive though.

It's fusion material for a 8800 ATK piercer that ignores Mirror and D-Prison.

Uh... yes please? Fun in its own Deck' date=' even if I never Summon it.

you mean a 4400, unless Powerbonded/Limiter Romoval'd?

Why would you run Poly over Power Bond?

to be safe, swinging big isn't always good, what happens when you hit Kuriboh? or you've used a solemn judgement? you just lost due to a fluff ball. UAGG may be less likely to ram into something dangerous, but lately more cards have been made to activate from the hand instead of the field (honest comes to mind) and these hand cards are usually about stopping an attack with an unexpected blow. The burn from Powerbond can be just the shot your opponent needed to blast you into oblivion.

that's just one of my examples, Honest is the worst one, and you can't say 'don't attack with UAGG until their honests are gone' becuase by that point you will have taken damage from Powerbond, and the honests pre-UAGG (or if he's out it turns to a stall match until the foe gets monster destruction, becuase who would waste an honest on anything else on the field when UAGG is out?). taking 4400 isn't good, and threats such as Threatoning Roar which can be activated before the battle phase cuase even more problems. Once your down below 50% of your LP your opponent can easily start chipping away at your LP while you try to get around the threats in other places.

I love how it's gone from UGG to UAGG...
