"Right then! My turn, draw!" The figure drew a card, and glanced with a smirk. " I'll set a monster face-down, and then I'll throw down 1 face-down card." As the figure played his cards, they appeared as holograms before him. "You go now, chump!" The figure said with a laugh. Lilian watched feebly, before she got up and made started to make her way to her Duel Runner. If Michael lost, she was prepared to get the both of them out of their straight away... Now all she had to do was get to her Duel Runner and prepare for the worst. Hopefully the worst would not happen.

“You look rather confident. Draw!” Michael said, laughing, he played is first card. “I activate Future Fusion, sending my 2 Dark Valkyria’s from my deck to the graveyard, so that in two turns I can summon Superalloy Beast Raptinus,” Michael said, as the spell card Future Fusion appeared on the field. “Now, with two Gemini monsters in my graveyard, I can special summon my Woodland Archer!” Michael said as the beast like warrior appeared on the field, ready for battle. “Now I activate his effect, by tributing him, I can add my Blazewing Butterfly to my hand.” As the Woodland Archer exploded into a cloud of dust, Blazewing Butterfly appeared in Michael’s hand. “Now, I summon Evocator Chevalier!” Michael said as the card appeared to transform into the monster from its original card like form. “I end.”|

"Alright then! Draw!" The figure drew yet another card, and again laughed. "Go! Tainted Strike!" The figure's card appeared beside him. It was a Spell Card. "Now, it's effect activates! I discard my Tainted Warrior and my Tainted Knight to destroy your Evocator!" As the cards were discarded, a large cloud swarmed over the Evocator, and sent it to the figure's Graveyard. "Haha, now I summon Tainted Child!" A child appeared before the figure, a corrupt cloud hanging above it. "With it's effect, a Dark Valkyria is added to my Graveyard!" The child dug a hole, before yanking out a Dark Valkyria and giving it to the figure. "Now, I flip my Mystic Tomato face-up and Synchro Summon Tainted Noble!" The two disappeared as a large quake occured, and a large warrior wielding a dual ended sword appeared. "Now, he attacks you directly!" The warrior lunged forward, before stabbing Michael and causing his Life Points to drop. "End." As the warrior hit Michael, Lilian screamed as she fell over on the floor. "Oh yeah, and did I mention that she feels any pain you would feel?" The figure laughed maniacaly after he finished speaking.

To the far left of the location of the duel, Daniel woke up realising he had fallen asleep while eating ice cream. He stood up and heard voices. He stood up and looked out of the window and saw a duel, "great, I got the best view for a great duel". Daniel walked into the kicthen getting a can of pepsi from the fridge and looked sideways into a mirror only to see his face covered in ice cream, "Yeah, I remember, I fell asleep while eating the ice cream" and shook his head. He washed his face picked up his duel disk placing it on his arm and walked out onto the balcony opening a door and watched the duel from up above.

Heero knew destiny had something fortold for him, but he couldn't quite place his finger on it. He stepped outside, smelling the fresh spring air. The world was a beautiful place, but mankind, his kind, were ugly. Not visably no, but morally. They were all pathetic. Savage. What was the purpose for this? He highly doubted there was one, or one morally correct individual. But that did not change the fact he hadn't dueled in a while, and he was afraid that he might be getting rusty. "I wonder if anyone is up for a duel...

“Man you are so cliché dude. Making other people feel my pain was so when Jaden Yuki was around,” Michael said trying to taunt his opponent. “Draw!” As Michael drew a card, he felt a sense of delight. “Now I special summon Woodland Archer in attack position. I will also tribute him to add another Blazewing Butterfly to my hand.” Michael said, as his plan was going smooth. “Now I summon Blazewing Butterfly. I will equip him with the spell card Supervise so I can activate his effect, allowing me to special summon Dark Valkyria in attack position. Now, I will activate Dark Valkyria’s effect, placing a spell counter on him.” Michael observed as the activation of the effect seemed to make Dark Valkyria glow. “I will activate Dark Valkyria’s other effect, by removing the spell counter, I can destroy your monster. Now, Dark Valkyria attack for 1800 of direct damage!” Michael said as his monster attacked the figure directly. “I will now end.”

Ross woke up in his mansion at Tops, the place where everyone rich lived. Compared to others, Ross's mansion wasn't that big. It was more of a large house. After all, he was the only one living there. He checked his bedside clock. 11:00 AM. He rolled over and crawled out of bed, not wanting to get up but knowing he should. Suddenly, a bright light shattered one of the windows, and Ross had to avert his eyes to avoid getting blinded.

"What in the world?" He screamed.

It was blinding, but hypnotic, and he felt the need to see what it was. He quickly got dressed and left, locking all three locks on his door behind him. You had to be really careful when you're rich, burglars and other idiots would try to break in and steal stuff. It had happened before.

Ross hopped on his custom made green and silver duel runner. It wasn't the best combination of colours, but he liked it. He gunned the accelerator and sped out of his garage, closing it behind him with a remote control. He sped around the city, trying to find out where the light was. He finally found it's source, along with three figures, two of them dueling.

Ross slowed down and stopped behind two other duel runners.

"A duel?" Ross asked himself. "Interesting."

Ross detached his duel disk and walked up to where the duel was.

Another figure started to emerge from the light. The light around him started to dull, and then blaze a bright red. "I.....am......FREE!!!" It laughed. "AND I SHALL HAVE MY REVENGE!" And it was gone, already on a stolen duel runner.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, A teenage boy called Simon had just finished a duel when a great flash of light burst into the sky, followed by a duller one and a blaze of red. He was slightly shocked, but soon regained his senses. "What the hell is that?" He asked himself as he jumped on his duel runner and headed for the source. He was close to the source when he saw a duel going on, between a boy just younger than him and a strange figure. He stopped and watched, as this figure seemed strange, almost not of this world.

Ross whirled around to see the figure riding away on his duel runner.

"Hey! Come back here!"

Ross activated his duel disk and put a card in.

"Gale the Whirlwind!"

A black bird appeared and a gust of wind blew at the rider. It didn't work. Ross cursed as his monster disappeared and the figure rounded a corner and out of sight.

((In Response to Dark Valkyria's Summoning :3))

"Unfortunately kiddo, I'm stopping you right there! Torrential Tribute!" The figure flipped his face-down card face-up, revealing the Trap Card with a torrent for the picture. Immediately, the figure's Tainted Noble let out a scream as his hologram shattered into dozens of pieces, with Michael's Dark Valkyria and Blazewing Butterfly following soon afterwards. "So much for your little masterplan, huh kid?" The figure chuckled again as he awaited for what Michael had next.

“Well, first of all, my master plan is ruined, and second of all, your monster is gone to, so it is the best of both worlds for me,” Michael said as he glanced at his only face up card. ‘My only hope’ he thought. “My turn is now over, so let’s see what you can do to mess up ‘my’ master plan, because you didn’t destroy it. Go ahead and make your next move!” Michael said with confidence that he could survive the turn.

Ross turned his attention back to the duel, after all, he could get another duel runner later.

The duel seemed to be progressing nicely, one person using a Gemini deck. He must be skilled, Ross thought. He had tried playing Gemini's before and failed miserably. The other person was using a dark deck with "Tainted" monsters that Ross had never seen before. Must be new, Ross thought.

The "Tainted" deck of the weird figure seemed to be winning. Ross got the feling that wasn't good. He seemed to know the figure though. Like, not "know" but, he felt like he had seen it somewhere before. He shook his head, that couldn't be possible.

Ross went back to watching the duel.

The figure was about to draw, before he grasped his chest and roared slightly. "No... I'm not going to continue now. We will duel kid, we will. I promise, but only when I am at full power. It's far too early for me to duel again..." With that, the figure turned around and re-entered the light, before re-emerging seconds later on a run down Duel Runner. "REMEMBER THE NAME SEBASTIAN LIFISTI KID." The figure screamed, before he rode off before Michael had a chance to respond.

Lilian was leaning against her own Duel Runner, panting heavily. The attack against Michael with the Tainted Noble had really caused her to become exhausted, and with any movement she knew that chances were she was going to collapse. "M-michael... Looks like you win by forfeit..."

Simon sighed. That was a boring duel. He didn't see any cards used, so it was of no use. Instead he walked over to the girl panting on the floor. "You okay." He asked, offering his hand. As he helped her up he asked, "Who are you, and him over there." He pointed over at Michael. "'Cos you both look worn out from that. I mean it's just a duel." He laughed.

Meanwhile, Kris stopped his duel runner as Sebastian rode past. "You." He said, getting in the way of the duel runner. "You were in there too. What is it like to be free? Because I feel ecstatic."

((Hopefully we can get this more active that the duel is over...))

“Wow. So it is Sebastian Lifisti who had challenged me to duel. What an odd guy,” Michael said in shock. As he re-ordered the cards on his duel disk, he reattached it to his duel runner. “Lilian, maybe we should go, before anything else bad happens, as I have a hunch something will happen,” Michael said powering up his duel disk. What was ‘that light’ exactly Michael thought, as he waited for Lilian to regain her balance.

((It already has become more active :3 And Magnet, Lilian's resting against her Duel Runner))

Lilian nodded at Michael, before getting onto her Duel Runner and powering it up. As she did so, she spoke to Simon. "I-i'm... Lilian. And he's... Urm... Michael..?" Lilian said, not exactly sure as to what the boy's name was. She finished powering up her Duel Runner, and so got ready to ride off. "A-and trust me... That wasn't just a duel... That was something else entirely..." With that, Lilian rode off at a speed in which Michael could catch up to easily.

Sebastian stopped in front of Kris with a growl. "Why exactly are you asking me such an irrelevant and utterly pointless question?! And more importantly, why are you blocking me off!" Sebastian yelled, as he started ramming Kris' Duel Runner with his own to try and get it out of the way.

OOC: Hey Leo, do you mind if I change my deck? I made some new cards a couple of days ago and I'd like to try them in a deck. I'll give you the link.

http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/thread-193011-post-3911606.html#pid3911606

IC: Ross watched as Sebastian Lifisti rode of on a duel runner. He sighed and then turned around, walking home. He stopped at an Ice Cream shop on the way home and got some. As Ross walked home eating his Ice Cream, he made a mental note to go to that place again. He thought over what had happened at the place with the weird light. Two people had emerged from it, but it seemed like they needed to regain power or something. It was as if they had drained all their energy getting out of the portal or whatever. Ross bumped into someone and dropped the rest of his Ice Cream on the ground.

"Oh come on!" The guy he bumped into said.

Ross apologized and gave him a check for 500 DP to get a new suit. He muttered to himself as he walked away.

((Yes I will change the deck. Just tell me what player. Also, for your DP payment, since you only have 200, you cannot make that payment. Sorry. Also, because I forgot, nabby101, you are going to be warned for an OOC only post, next time I will have to ban you from the RP.))

---

Michael immediately started up his duel runner. As he headed toward Lilian, he wondered what they were going to do about this problem. “So Lilian and Simon, any idea what you think we are up against?” Michael asked out of curiosity. As they slowly left the scene of the duel, the light seemed to be as dull as it had been all night. “Maybe we should go to the card shop, we might find something or someone there that can help us,” Michael said pointing to the area of the card shop, which was north of the park, the place that the light had appeared at.

At that moment, Heero saw a group of duelists (Michael, Lilian, and Simon). He walked over to them and said, "Any of you up for a duel? I'm feeling a bit rusty. If it wasn't for that, trust me, I woulnd't be asking." Heero frowned. It had to come to him having to ask. He never asked. It was a sign of a want. Wants turned people into greedy and corrupted people. He had went against his beliefs, but he was afriad of not being at his full potential. "Oh that's right. I'm Heero...Heero Tanaka." He may hate people, but he hated being rude as well.

OOC: Ross Drew. Oh, and yeah, I forgot about the 200 thing. The OOC thing was mainly a bump, and I didn't want to continue to much on the RP without replies.

IC: Ross walked over to the card shop and went in. He looked up to see if they had it... they did!

"I'll take a Stardust Dragon tin."

About time, Ross thought to himself, it had taken him forever to track down one of these. I guess they're just that popular.

Ross paid 180 DP to the card shop owner and took the tin. He opened it and slipped the dragon into a sleeve and into his deck. Then he looked at the four packs. (What are the four packs in the stardust tin?)

“Sure, but not right now. We are about to head over that way, to the card shop,” Michael responded. “Maybe we can stop by the duel dome later because if we go to the duel dome, we could have a turbo duel, that is, if you have yourself a duel runner,” Michael said with enthusiasm. Michael wasn’t pleased of the result of the last duel, and this time, he hoped he could actually finish the duel.

Heero followed them. "Great. I'm stuck with the very thing I hate: people. Guess it can't be helped...I can't afford to get rusty...I just get the feeling..." he thought. He felt like crap. He was being a total hypocrite, and he couldn't stand it. He had to keep telling himself it was to not get rusty, which was one of the many things he hated. He pulled out his favorite card, the card he felt was chosen for him by the Gods above, as a sign to purge the world of corruption...of greed. "Guide me...Desire..." he thought.

Ross looked at his packs. Nothing amazing, but the Secret Rare Cybershark he could use in his deck. A Rare, 2 Secret Rares, and a Short-Print. Decent. And some OK commons.

Ross left the shop, that was really more of a shack. Someone should upgrade it into something better. Whatever. He looked around and saw the three people that were at the place with the light. And another person with them who didn't seem to be too happy about it. This was turning out to be a weird day. And it was only... Ross checked his watch. 1:00 PM.

Growing bored of this group, Heero walked away, only to see someone staring at him. "Be polite Heero...be polite..." "What're you look-uhh...wanna duel?" Heero was about to say something rude, but he hoped he didn't notice. "Wow this is sucking so far..." he thought. "I hope he says yes...I'm in desperate need of a duel..."
