YuGiOh! - Clash of Two Worlds - [PM Application/Started]

It has been 50 years since the Signers and the Dark Signers had last clashed. It appeared that New Domino City would be safe for eternity, but like all other stories unfold, they weren’t. Many duellists have heard tales of the Netherworld. Now, those places have lost their prime pillars, leaving the bindings that keep them separated from the rest of the world. The two worlds have collided, leaving old souls of the Netherworld able to roam free. Now, a new set of duellists come to save New Domino City and prevent the members of the Netherworld from causing any harm. This challenge will take many New Domino citizens to stand up and fight the darkness!

 

It isn’t just New Domino City that is affected by this, it is also the Satellite. The Satellite is where people believe this crisis may have started, becoming the second event that has developed from the Satellite as it becomes more important in a duellist’s everyday life, then one would think.

 

With all this going on, it isn’t to say that nobody is having fun! Drama, action and adventure are drenching the streets of New Domino City like never before! Everybody tries to live a normal life while continuing to fight the horror of the Netherworld.

 

So here we are, ready to take the biggest challenge of our life and put it to reality!

6. When Duelling, members of the Netherworld cannot send people to the Netherworld, due to the disconnection and clashing of the worlds.

7. During a duel, at the end of your turn, you must post your field including cards you control and noting your face down cards. For example, if you control a face up Mist Valley Solider, you must post the picture of the card. If it is a written card, just post the written version

8. Please use proper grammar, spelling and spacing. You can use a program like Microsoft Word to help you if you would like.

9. When duelling, after the activation or Summon of a card, ask if your opponent would wish to counter in an IC post. Your opponent then answers in an IC post. The reply must be at least 1 Line long, due to the fact that you are simply replying to a question, though more is preferred.

[b]Appearance:[/b] At 5 foot 11 to 6 foot, he is considered tall to most people. He doesn't think of this himself though. He has a strong build with a few scars down his shoulders. His eyes were originally amber, a strange colour that he was picked on and bullied for, however they are very useful. He has always hated them but they seem to glow when he was angered. Now though, a black sclera covers that and dulls it out, only allowing a slight glow now and then. His red hair was always considered strange aswell, because it was not ginger red, but blood red, and that is what he believed it symbolised. He is usually found with a black leather jacket and blue ripped jeans on.

[b]Biography:[/b] The son of noone he knew, he was raised in an orphanage after just surviving a car crash. His mother and father weren't so fortunate. His life was rough. In the orphanage he always stayed in his room, for fear of bullying after his blood red hair and Amber eyes. In school it was the same, except he sat at the back instead of a room of his own. When he gained a deck it gained him respect, but still odd looks. One time though, in a duel against the main bully, he got angry. His eyes started to glow and as he attacked, the monster became real. The boy he was dueling went to hospital and ended up insane. Later on in his life he was attacked by a rogue dark signer, and won. But the dark signer cheated. He used his power to somehow send him to the netherworld, along with himself. Now that Kris is back, he wants revenge on everyone that ever did him wrong.

[b]Personality:[/b] Dark and cold, he is the cruelest guy you could get. He has no mercy, humour or Interest in human life. For all he cares, humans are pebble's in a quarry, and he see's himself as an outcast from the species. His anger is over the top, with a very short fuse. And the added effect of glowing, amber eyes makes it just down right scary. He also uses anyone for his own uses, added with the ability of psychic powers and the power to control & create shadow drones.

[b]Appearance:[/b] Sebastian has a small scar on his left cheek, making him look as if he's a rogue. He has black hair which flops down but doesn't quite cover his eyes, as it is too short to do so. He wears a navy rubber suit, as he thinks that it is a way to keep himself sealed up. On top of it, he wears a torn shirt and ragged shorts, a trenchcoat hiding most of both of them. Also wears sunglasses which hides his eyes, one of which is a light green and one of which is a light silver. He wears a Duel Disk that is pitch black, except for the Monster Card Zones (which are a light orange). Whenever he duels, his Duel Disk glows a faint red.

[b]Biography:[/b] Sebastian was living a great life, he was a pro in many Dueling Leagues and was always a very warm and charming individual. That was until the events of the Dark Signers. During a duel between a Dark Signer and himself, he could not withstand the power of one of the Earthbound Immortals, and as his Duel Runner lost control he plummeted into the lake. His leg got caught underneath one of the brakes, and so he drowned, causing him to be sent to the Netherworld. Now that Sebastian is back, he has grown cold and emotionless, only seeking to find the one that sent him to damnation in the first place.

[b]Personality:[/b] Sebastian is now a very cruel and uncaring brute. He will never help anyone in need, unless he thinks of them to be worthy of helping. He would always choose himself over others, as he has been through far worse than anyone else that is alive. Whenever possible, he tries to duel people and force them into doing what he wants if he wins. If he loses, however, he'll run away, not wanting to see the consequences of defeat.

He was one of the nicer guys at his school. Everybody was trying to get him to do this or that which could possibly get him in trouble. Ultimately, his classmates had learned from their mistakes and become nicer people. This helped Michael’s life a lot. He got finally met new friends which helped advance his life a lot. Over the years have passed, Michael’s grades in school have slipped. He hasn’t been that worried about this because his marks in school are still excellent and above average. He has also competed in, and won, 2 Science Fairs. He experimented on genetic transformation and also an experiment on negating the effects of the reaction between baking soda and vinegar. He has always been deemed in school, an original thinker.

[b]Personality:[/b] Michael is a pleasant guy to hang around with. He is a guy who always has a smile on his face. He is always trying to cheer people up and help them through situations in life. He is laid back and lets events around him happen, with him having limitable reaction to the happening. He has learned how to react in situations where everybody seems to be against him, as his life used to be rough in his early years. There is also a mysterious side to Michael though. Sometimes, he just wants to be alone, inside his own world, his own thoughts. Many people think this is why he is so smart. He is able to completely pan out the thoughts of other things, so he can focus on what he needs to.

Usually wears the same kind of outfit that her Uncle Valon did, except that it has a more rough look than before.

[b]Biography:[/b] Lilian is the niece of Valon, who once used to be a part of the Orichalcos Henchmen. When he regained his self control from the Orichalcos and lost Mai to Joey, Valon went away from his family, until Lilian (Aged 14) went to visit him to get his life back on track. She succeeded, and from then on Valon always thought of Lilian as his favourite family member. When he died, he left his motorbike, which he had upgraded personally into a Duel Runner, and his Armor Deck to Lilian, along with 50% of his money. The other 50% went to Lilian's mother. The cause of Valon's death is unknown. Lilian still uses Valon's Armor Deck and Duel Runner, refusing to use anything else as it has too much sentimental value.

[b]Personality:[/b] Lilian is a mostly carefree person, as she doesn't really seem to think of much as troubling or disturbing. Despite her rather rough and thug like looks, she is actually a nice person, wanting people to like her for the way that she acts and not her looks. If she does find anything troubling or disturbing, she'll do anything to stop herself from thinking about it or find a way to prevent it from happening ever again.

[b]Biography:[/b] A very normal person. Born, raised and cared for by his parents. However, his parents were card designers, and created the perfect deck for him. He loves this deck and rarely loses. He is the current champion in his school.

[b]Personality:[/b] Cheerful and funny, but sometimes an A*se. He tries to find humour and positives in everything, but finds it immpossible half of the time.

On his right arm, he bears a mark which he calls the Judgement mark.

[b]Biography:[/b] Born into a world of desire and greed, Heero's hatred for mankind has turned his once hopeful heart into stone. Before he recieved his mysterious judgement mark (it's not a marker that you get for doing wrong), he was a happy, carefree individual. How he recieved it is a mystery. What is known, however, he hates to be around people, almost as much as he hates corruption, the kind that mankind created. He may be stubborn, but subconciounsly, he wants to feel like he belongs. Heero is considered to be a great duelist, and uses a Fallen Angel deck, just like Midori Hibiki did. Rumor has it, he recieved his judgement mark for using this deck.

[b]Personality:[/b] Bitter to the bone, Heero cares for no one, not even himself. He feels no one is trust worthy, and hates everyone, without even knowing them. "Trust in this world was never meant to be. It's a creation of mankind, just like corruption and greed." He told that two one of his class mates as they told him they couldn't trust him for anything, after Heero had diliberately told on him to the principal. It is also rumored Heero beat up the kid to the point of hospitalizing him, but in reality, Heero was defending himself.

[b]Biography:[/b]As a young kid he has always loved hearing stories and would like to hear more as time goes on so that he can pass his knowledge down to the next generation. He has loved combining Decks such as Gadgets and Blackwings and has assembled a pretty powerful deck that is hard to beat. He has never really known his parents too well as they are always working when he is home. He has been looked after by his Uncle a majority of his life whom has taught Izzy how to duel and given him some helpful strategies.

[b]Personality:[/b] Izzy is usually a care-free kind of kid but when its time to be serious he gets serious like if there is a test he usually spends the whole night studying for that test. Whenever he sees a girl walk by he blushes and gets a bit fuzzy when he speaks which is odd as he usually speaks clearly. He doesn't like it when people make fun of him or his friends and is quick to react usually by challenging the person to a duel.

He wears a pair of black laced shoes which he polishes every day, he sometimes wears a black hoodie when he goes outside to keep him dry and warm. His duel disk is dark blue and each of the zones are light blue. He can be seen eating sweets and drinking fizzy drinks quite a lot as well.

[b]Biography:[/b] When Daniel was young, his mother died from a car crash and his dad walked out on him leaving his brother to look after him but always been quite poor. Now much older, he enters duel tournaments of all sorts and loves to duel. Since he learnt how to play the duel monsters, he has always had a dream to become the best. He visits his mom’s grave every so often as does his brother whose interests are different to him. Daniel uses a zombie deck in memory of his mother who he had always wished that she would come back alive.

[b]Biography:[/b] Ross was born to rich parents, good friends of Maxamillion Pegasus. Therefore, Ross has had access to many powerful cards. He has dueled with Pegasus many times and occasionaly beaten him. Unfortunatly, Ross's parents died in a plane crash when he was 11 years old, and he was living with Pegasus until a few months ago, when he decided he wanted to see New Domino City, since it seemed that there was lots of stuff going on there. He is now living in an expensive place in the city, dueling in tournaments and riding around on his duel runner.

[b]Personality:[/b] Ross is a friendly, easygoing guy, and has decided not to take his wealth (he inheireted from his parents) for granted, and try to be like a normal kid. He takes his duels very seriously though, and when he is dueling he is lost in another world, calculating strategies and combonations, etc. Ross is pretty smart for his age, almost a genius. It helps that he's been tutored privately for 8 years. Ross saves lots of his money, and makes a lot of it from interest on keeping it in the bank.

[b]Biography:[/b] Jim never met his mother, since she died at his birth. He also never met his father, or knows who he is for that matter. Since he didn't have any known relatives at his birth except his mother, he was orphaned and later adopted by the comedian Roger Murphy. Jim quickly grew up to be a funny pal, learning from his "father", but he also quickly became a good duelist, but he's far from one of the best in NDC.

[b]Personality:[/b] Jim is a comedian, a retard and funny. Altough he is intelligent, he rarely shows this and often says stupid things even though he knows better.

Later on in his life he was attacked by a rogue dark signer, and won. But the dark signer cheated. He used his power to somehow send him to the netherworld, along with himself. Now that Kris is back, he wants revenge on everyone that ever did him wrong.

Personality: Dark and cold, he is the cruelest guy you could get. He has no mercy, humour or Interest in human life. For all he cares, humans are pebble's in a quarry, and he see's himself as an outcast from the species. His anger is over the top, with a very short fuse. And the added effect of glowing, amber eyes makes it just down right scary. He also uses anyone for his own uses, added with the ability of psychic powers and the power to control & create shadow drones.

Appearance: 6 foot 1 with a medium build, he towers above alot of his friends. Along with his short brown hair and friendly, dark green eyes, he is seen as a kind and gentle person. He is almost always found with jeans and a plain white shirt one, with a denim jacket over the shirt.

Biography: A very normal person. Born, raised and cared for by his parents. However, his parents were card designers, and created the perfect deck for him. He loves this deck and rarely loses. He is the current champion in his school.

Personality: Cheerful and funny, but sometimes an A*se. He tries to find humour and positives in everything, but finds it immpossible half of the time.

Age: 15

Side: New Domino Citizen

Appearance: Izzy has Green Blueish eyes which light up whenever he sees a card he likes or is about to play one of his favorite cards. His hair is Short and Brown. He wears glasses but only when the weather is rough as he has trouble seeing. He wears an Orange Shirt that says "Duel Legend in the making!" on the front of his shirt. He wears Brown Long pants that matches well with his White Sneakers.

Biography:As a young kid he has always loved hearing stories and would like to hear more as time goes on so that he can pass his knowledge down to the next generation. He has loved combining Decks such as Gadgets and Blackwings and has assembled a pretty powerful deck that is hard to beat. He has never really known his parents too well as they are always working when he is home. He has been looked after by his Uncle a majority of his life whom has taught Izzy how to duel and given him some helpful strategies.

Personality: Izzy is usually a care-free kind of kid but when its time to be serious he gets serious like if there is a test he usually spends the whole night studying for that test. Whenever he sees a girl walk by he blushes and gets a bit fuzzy when he speaks which is odd as he usually speaks clearly. He doesn't like it when people make fun of him or his friends and is quick to react usually by challenging the person to a duel.

Side: Netherworld Dweller

Appearance: Sebastian has a small scar on his left cheek, making him look as if he's a rogue. He has black hair which flops down but doesn't quite cover his eyes, as it is too short to do so. He wears a navy rubber suit, as he thinks that it is a way to keep himself sealed up. On top of it, he wears a torn shirt and ragged shorts, a trenchcoat hiding most of both of them. Also wears sunglasses which hides his eyes, one of which is a light green and one of which is a light silver. He wears a Duel Disk that is pitch black, except for the Monster Card Zones (which are a light orange). Whenever he duels, his Duel Disk glows a faint red.

Biography: Sebastian was living a great life, he was a pro in many Dueling Leagues and was always a very warm and charming individual. That was until the events of the Dark Signers. During a duel between a Dark Signer and himself, he could not withstand the power of one of the Earthbound Immortals, and as his Duel Runner lost control he plummeted into the lake. His leg got caught underneath one of the brakes, and so he drowned, causing him to be sent to the Netherworld. Now that Sebastian is back, he has grown cold and emotionless, only seeking to find the one that sent him to damnation in the first place.

Personality: Sebastian is now a very cruel and uncaring brute. He will never help anyone in need, unless he thinks of them to be worthy of helping. He would always choose himself over others, as he has been through far worse than anyone else that is alive. Whenever possible, he tries to duel people and force them into doing what he wants if he wins. If he loses, however, he'll run away, not wanting to see the consequences of defeat.

It was dark and quiet in Michael’s room. Not a sound, not even the wind was able to break the silence. He seemed to be in a state of deep thought, separating the world from him so he could think in a more calm and constructive way. This is how he could spend most nights like this, sitting for hours, thinking on whatever came to mind.

 

BANG! The windows flew open. Michael, in shock, moved across his bed, looking out the mysteriously opened window. As he looked outside, he saw a light. He grabbed his duel disk and ran for his duel runner. As he speeded down the quiet streets of New Domino City, he came closer to the light he saw through his window.

[Guest Lily]

Lilian was still awake, laying down on her couch as she was watching some stupid film that she had randomly put on. That was when the windows in Lilian's apartment shattered, and the TV fell off of it's place on the table-desk, falling onto the floor and shattering. Lilian shot up, shocked. Then a sudden light flashed into her eyes, and she fell back off the couch. She immediately ran out of her apartment and down the winding steps, down to her garage and revved up her Duel Runner, before speeding off. Soon enough, she found Michael and, in a desperate attempt to find out what was happening, drove beside him. "HEY! YOU! DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON?!" Lilian screamed from her Duel Runner, before swerving to the side of an oncoming truck, causing her to almost fall off.

“Honestly, I can’t tell what is going on. It appears that some immediate transfer of light had covered New Domino City. It seems to be dangerous none the less.” Michael, portraying the scene responded. Michael then advanced closer to where the light had originally come from. As he got closer, he saw smoke. What is that Michael thought. The light was there, though dimmer then he would have expected. Its glow seemed to change in a pattern like form. Michael was in awe, speechless. He just sat there on his duel runner, watching what he just saw, the light.

Lilian managed to catch up to Michael after a few seconds, holding her right arm. "Stupid traffic kept going in the wrong direction... Stupid car grazed my arm..." Lilian grumbled to herself as she managed to pull up beside Michael's Duel Runner, before gazing at the light ahead of them. "W-wait... W-what is that?!" Lilian exclaimed, as she turned off her Duel Runner and just simply gazed at the light... It was hypnotizing and it was causing her to seem to want to walk towards it... Though something was bothering her. She could see a silhouette through it, and she dare not take the risk of walking towards it.

Michael felt like he was in his own world, stuck inside his brain. Frozen in thoughts, he managed to move closer to the light. He looked at it with a glare that seemed to make the light in a state of discomfort. Something seemed to be forming from the light, maybe the image of a man. Michael, being as smart as he was, spoke to Lilian. “Lilian, this makes no sense. We haven’t had anything as odd as this since the “Light of Destruction” came to terrorize the world,” Michael finished with an uneasy thought. He was intrigued in the light, like a cat determined to catch a mouse.

"Ummm... How do you know my name, sir?" Lilian asked, as she hopped off of her Duel Runner and followed Michael to the light, her same hypnotic feelings become active again. She was still able to control them, and soon enough she snapped out of it yet again. "Ugh... This light is freaking me out to no known end... I hope this is over quickly..." Lilian moaned, a breeze meeting her skin and she shuddered. Groans were heard coming from the light, as the silhouette started growing bigger and the person came closer to coming out of the light.

“Well I know your name because...well...I know certain people let’s say,” Michael said, as the man looked that much closer to coming out. “Ok, I am going to get my duel disk so I will be ready,” Michael said as he ran from the light. He unattached the duel disk from his duel runner. “Duel Disk Detached,” the voice from the duel runner said. Michael rushed over to face the light, staring deeply at the figure. He then realized that this wasn’t just any figure, it appeared to be man walking from the light!

"Why are you getting your du-" Before Lilian could finish, she saw the figure emerging from the light and she shrieked, before falling on her back from being frightened. "What are you doing here, girl?!" The figure commanded, as he walked over to Lilian and picked her up by the neck, causing her to struggle to breathe. "S-s-stop... Your hurting me..." Lilian said weakly, as she tried her best to get away from the brute. The figure just dropped her on the floor, and Lilian spluttered as she regained her breath. "And I assume your going to try and stop me, kid?" The figure asked Michael, as he turned around with a smirk and activated his duel disk. "Bring it, wimp."

Hopefully we can escape without this brat pounding the both of us,” Michael responded. “I will let you go first for this duel and good luck, you are going to need it,” Michael said loading his duel disk, drew five cards and waiting for his opponent to make the first move.
