Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D´s: Return Of The Underworld King

I wanted to try something new after horribly starting to fail with my first fic.

 

So *gulp* Here it is.

 

I hope it will not fail like my first.

(I am still a little unused to writing like this but hopefully I will improve)

 

[spoiler=Note] For some original 5D´s characters I will use the 4Kids dubb names instead of japanese (Jaeger=Lazar for example) because even though 4Kidd dubb is a HORRIBLY butchered version of the original, I perferr the dubb names sometimes over the japanese.

I will also probably change a few things later on but it mainly depends on yor replies.

Prolouge

”Five years, five years since the dark signers were defeated along with the king of the underworld” David thought for himself, his long and dark brown hair and black trench coat softly flapping in the wind.

Vice-director Lazar tried to cover up the stories about the dark signers and the king of the underworld that had spread through both Satellite and New Domino City like a wildfire.

But for everyone Lazar managed to silence there were ten more, and almost every citizen in New Domino City and Satellite had personally seen the king of the underworld emerge from the B.A.D area of Satellite, even though only the ones in Satellite knew that it was the B.A.D area specifically, slowly moving towards the gigantic and obviously ancient stairway that had arose out of

Goodwin’s mansion.

Not to mention the condor glyph that had covered the night sky.

Lazar could try covering up the stories about dark signers, but almost everyone knew about them already.

 

Standing on top of one of the few buildings that weren´t factories David looked out at the network of roads connecting Satellite and New Domino City, named the Daedalus Bridge. He could still not believe that the barriers between Satellite and Domino City had been erased, the people in Satellite now being able to travel freely to New Domino City. The B.A.D area was being taken care of and slowly, piece by piece, became livable again. The only part that remained was the crater at the center, a remnant of the old Enerdy reactor and the old dark signer base.

The finishing of the Daedalus Bridge was a dream that came true for David.

Ever since his life in the poverty of Satellite began, he dreamed of leaving it behind, dreamed of following in the steps of the legendary D-wheeler that began the construction of the bridge, eventually David had accepted the fact that the legendary D-wheeler could not survive such a hard landing it must have been, that being said if he ever made it to the other side.

But he never stopped dreaming of leaving Satellite behind.

And now, everyone could do that if they wanted.

 

The sky had cleared up long ago when the amount of active factories

began to lower. It was not a cloud in sight on the sky.

The wind even started to calm down, creating an odd, complete silence.

“The dark signers were defeated so long ago, but why does it feels like they wouldn´t go down that easy”

 

“I knew I would find you up here, are you honestly aiming at becoming a eremite?” a girl said behind him.

David did not even have to turn around, the childish tone in the voice immediately revealed who it was.

“I needed some time for myself to think.” He replied very monotone.

“What is it Cecilia?” He continued without turning around.

He never got an answer.

 

A loud explosion was echoed from the crater in the center of the B.A.D area and a black and dark purple pillar of light shot out of it.

Almost imedeatley after that, a equally colored fog was starting to spread, originating from the crater.

Before the fog had time to reach him, David took cover inside the building along with Cecilia, her delicate facial features were twisted in pure fear, several wisps of her red hair hanging down in front of her face, hiding parts of it.

When that fog had been spread over Satellite before, almost everyone had dissapeared without a trace.

"They are back, the dark signers are back" was all he said when they were safe inside the building, with a slight tone of fear in his voice.

Through a window they saw the people in the streets slowly one by one dissapear.

Five years has passed since the dark signers were defeated and the king of the underworld was sent back to his realm.

For five years the king of the underworld have patiently waited for a new chance to conquer the earth. Now that time has come.

The Signer birthmarks have been passed on to five new duelists.

Five new duelists that will carry on the legacy. Exept no one knows that they are a signer.

New dark signers have awoken with a new goal.

Defeat the Signers and absorb the powers of the signer birthmarks.

If they succed in defeating all five signers and absorbing their powers, they will be able to summon the king of the underworld without the door to the underworld.

And the entire planet will fall to his grasp.
