It's not mine, so I can't, unfortunately. If only I had the AR code for changing nicknames, but even that might completely ruin my game. Sorry. I could try to find the original trainer (some dude on Smogon, iirc), but I doubt it. D:

If you are free tomorrow night (EST), we could do the transfer then. Just PM me your FC (use my Diamond one) and I'll be in WiFi.

Actually, come to think of it, you don't need to name it - I can just tweak its ID and Secret ID (and even OT) to match mine, then I'll just name it. =P

But let's trade it tomorrow, on second though, before the transfer. xD I just remembered my DS is dead, and it has an odd habit of disconnecting from wifi when it's charging.

First of all, it's "ba dum ch".

Second of all, I was aiming for either Adamant or Jolly. I can't be too picky about natures, because there are 26 of 'em, and I don't want to catch this thing over and over aiming for one nature alone.

And third of all, I won't aim for high IVs, but hopefully your theory of legends have high IVs pulls through for me on Ho-oh.

If anything, I want to use my Masterball on Rayquaza. And when I do get to that point, I'll probably decide against it and save it, or just throw it out seeing as you can't sell it at a Pokemart.

And soft resetting for natures and IVs is a major dick, and I don't know how to RNG abuse on HGSS. And I'd like to capture Ho-oh today or tomorrow, so I don't have enough time to learn (if a way exists).

And no, Colombian Coffee > American Coffee > Tea.

That's how it works. <3

-_- Your Master Ball exists for a reason, you know. You should use it on a hard-to-catch Legendary that you're hoping for a specific nature with.

As such, using it on Ho-Oh or Rayquaza is ideal, although Ho-Oh more practical since you can't get Ray unless you have a Groudon and a Kyogre that both came from the Embedded Tower.

Throwing it out instead of using it is kind of stupid. And using Poke Balls when you could be using Dusk Balls or Ultra Balls is also kind of stupid.

And I call bullshit. Teah pwns all coffee. >=o

I've been trying to get a an Adamant Heracross for the longest' date=' and I'm about to get an AR to mod it's nature damn it.

>_<

[/quote']

I've been trying to get a Heracross, period. And after Headbutting the trees east of Ecruteak for 20 minutes, I gave up. So I traded over an Absol, and now I'm waiting for it to learn Superpower.

If you really want an Adamant Heracross, go ahead and nature mod for it. It's not much of a cheat, tbqh.

[b']I know it exists, but who cares? On my first playthrough of (I think it was) LeafGreen, I completely ignored the Master Ball and beat the game fine. Sure, it's a nice help feature, but I don't need to use it, so I won't.[/b]

As such, using it on Ho-Oh or Rayquaza is ideal, although Ho-Oh more practical since you can't get Ray unless you have a Groudon and a Kyogre that both came from the Embedded Tower.

I already have a trade set up with Ficko. He has a Modest Kyogre, I am aiming for a Adamant Groudon. Both will be traded to Diamond, I'll clone, and we'll each have a copy of each. So we can each get Rayquaza.

Throwing it out instead of using it is kind of stupid. And using Poke Balls when you could be using Dusk Balls or Ultra Balls is also kind of stupid.

Ehh, I could use it as trade fodder, but most people will think I ARed it. And Pokeballs adds more to the challenge, and I like its simplicity. Also, they are the cheapest to buy, so I can buy 500 of 'em to last me for all the legends.

And I call bullshit. Teah pwns all coffee. >=o

Yeah, that's some serious bullshit. Seriously, tea being better than coffee? Did you evolve into Sarah Palin?!

Zexaeon is evolving.

DUN DUN-DUN DUN DAA DUN DUN DAA DUN DUN

Zexaeon evolved into Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin learned FAIL.

Don't you ever compare me to that Alaskan whore again.

Anyway, moving right along~

Dark, I never said you need the Master Ball to succeed. It just doesn't make a great deal of sense to kill yourself over and over trying to get a damn phoenix to stay in the weakest Pokeball, only to finally succeed and have it not be the way you wanted it.

The Master Ball lets you alleviate this problem once, or multiple times if you decide to clone it. Why stress yourself out with such a tedious process if you can just skip it? I mean geeze, EVing goes by faster than trying to catch a specific-natured Ho-Oh with Pokeballs.

And yeah, a challenge may be neat for a while, but when it comes to catching Pokemon, it just becomes a tedium. Buying a Dusk Ball gets you 4x the effectiveness for 5x the price. The fact that you need 500 pokeballs as opposed to like, 30 Dusk Balls is kind of sad. =/

I'm sowwy. That wasn't very nice. I basically called you a dumb retard who has a negative brain (which isn't possible) and is so stupid she deserves to fall in a hole' date=' be lit on fire, have her skin be burned, have a tiger gnaw on her bones, and have maggots eat her flesh.[/b']

It adds to the challenge, and Pokeballs are cool. And it's not as hard as you think, really. The highest I've used for a legend so far is 54, and that was Raikou. It doesn't take much effort, just patience. Of which I have some.

Not at all. I can guarantee you that I will have a correctly-natured Ho-oh within an hour of first starting to catch it. And that is a 100% pinky-promise guarantee. And again, I'd rather use a Pokeball than a Masterball. I don't know why. Maybe I'm just a dick and want to show off.

Not even close. I used 104 Pokeballs for 4 legends + Snorlax. I only plan on using 250 for the three birds and Ho-oh. And most legends don't catch very easily in Dusk Balls, either. On my first try to catch Lugia, I did use Dusk Balls. And out of the 50 I had (granted it was nighttime, it was asleep and had 1 HP), it took 45 or so to catch it. It was a bad nature, so I discarded it. But still, 45 Dusk Balls compared to the 27 Pokeballs I used to catch Lugia on my final attempt. Do the math.

And it's not about Pokedollars or anything else. I decided before I got SS that I wanted to catch every legend (minus one, maybe) in a Pokeball. Because it's a neat thing to show off, and it just adds extensively to the challenge of catching something. And if I need to soft reset 50+ times, so be it. It's not necessarily fun for me, but it gives me a reason to dick around and play videogames.

There are no new types, and it is still in the standard format of maximum of two types.

...On an unelated note, how insane would a Tri-Type be? xD just wow. Possibly the highest resitances ever, or possibly a X8 weakness.

Ahem, back on topic.

I will only give you estimates, as I have not completely thoguht out height and weight. I'll also keep pokemon that are in the same evolution family together for your convenience.

Another note: I first came up with this Gen all the way back when we were in Gen II. As the years have gone on, I have steadily added more pokemon to it, nixed ones that were stupid, adjusted appearances and names, and added Abilities since Gen III.

This fakegen is very close to my heart because it is so many years in the making, and the majority of the Pokemon in it have been in it since its initial conception. You'll probably be able to tell which were added recently xD;;

Basically, in short: It's my baby, don't laugh at it.

I'll have to do all of this today, later.

So, you've convinced me. Congratulations.

These are the following legends I have yet to capture: Ho-oh, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Groudon, Rayquaza, Latios, Latias and Giratina, who I don't have to capture but still need to soft reset a nature for.

Out of all of those, I am fine with capturing any Level 50 Pokemon. Felix's awesomesauce Smeargle has no problem with any Level 50 or under Pokemon. Meaning I'll have problems with Mewtwo and Ho-oh.

But Mewtwo only has one attacking move, which isn't all too bad, has Power Swap and Guard Swap (and Smeargle's stats are shit), and doesn't have Recover. So I don't see much of a problem with him. I can catch all of those Pokemon in a Pokeball, it'll just take time.

Ho-oh, however, is a bitch. He only has 15 PP total for attacking moves, and they all do 50%+ to my Smeargle. Once those 15 PP are exhausted, I only have less than 25 turns to capture him, otherwise he'll Struggle from loss of PP. His last move is Safeguard, meaning that if I get him in a situation where that is his only move, I can only sleep him once every five turns, meaning it's going to be near impossible to catch.

And on top of all that, I want a good nature. I've had enough. I'm using my Masterball on Ho-oh, but because of this, I am going to kill myself if I don't catch everything else in a Pokeball. Thanks Zex, you saved me from hours of destruction. I could've went crazy. But now I have to soft reset for nature and possibly IVs. Oh well, at least I can one-hit-catch him.

I realized that the rest of the legends come after you beat Blue, so I'll get around to doing that after Ho-oh. Then I'll get 6 random Pokemon to trade, and we can do the transfer. Unfortunately Zex, this will be a long process.

First, add my Diamond and SoulSilver FC, and give me your FC of the game you are using.

Bring 6 shitty Pokemon to the trade room. I'll log in with Diamond, trade you the six Pokemon in turn for your 6 shitty Pokemon. Stay in the trade room, and I'll log in with SoulSilver, trade you my 6 shitty Pokemon for the Pokemon you received from my Diamond.

Then stay in the trade room AGAIN, I'll log in with my Diamond and trade you the Tyranitar for one of the shitty Pokemon you got from my SoulSilver.

The process should take around 10 minutes, but oh well. I love you so much for doing this. <3

If I didn't already mention, I fully completed my Diamond Pokedex awhile back. I got less than 100 Pokemon through trades (less than 200 if you count PalPark as trading), so I legitly captured around 290 or so of 'em. It took 220 hours of gameplay, but I am extremely satisfied with myself. Oh, and the four-star Trainer Card is nice. I need to make that a Five Star by going underground and stealing flags, though.

Battle Tower was probably the hardest star to get. Because the trainers in Battle Tower have an extremely high crit rate. Seriously, it got so annoying. But I employed a strategy of Tyranitar, Gliscor (with Bright Powder and iirc Double Team) and Metagross.

TTar would set up Sandstream and hopefully kill something. I had 252 EVs in HP and in ATK, because I could care less about speed. I'd send in Gliscor, whose moveset was Sub, Double Team, Swords Dance and Baton Pass. I was major Taunt bait, but most trainers didn't have Taunt, and iirc Taunt can't go through a Sub. And if it could, I never was put in that situation. I'd Baton Pass to Metagross, with a Sub up. So you have a +6 ATK, Maximum ATK Metagross hiding behind a Sub with maximum evasion. Can you say GG?

It was a long strategy to employ, but note that the first 28 or 35 battles were won solely with Tyranitar, and the next 14 or 21 were won with Tyranitar and Metagross, no Gliscor. The Tycoon was hard the second time around, but my Baton Pass strategy got him. It got tedious for the last 40 or so battles, but I did it just for the star.

EDIT: inb4tl;dr

EDIT (2): This my second catching of Ho-oh that is Adamant. The first time it was Adamant the IVs were horrid. I did better this time.

10 / 23 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 10

The 25 in SpA is unneeded, and I'd like if it was switched with the 10 in Speed. 23 in ATK is good, and 30 in SpD is pretty nice. It's not perfect, but I'll stick with it. Adamant nature, too, so it's a nice catch.

Ooh, this is some really bad timing. See, I'm currently chaining a Roselia for Slash, and it's eating up a lot of my time. If possible, can we do the trades early tomorrow morning? Because I might sleep after I'm done chaining.
