nuuu' date=' I don't see any Speed EVs. This thing probably can't even outrun a +0 Gyarados. <_<

Then again, it's bulky enough to take an attack and retaliate, or so I'd hope. Any reason for 58 DEF EVs?

Even Bulky, Rock Slide or Avalanche is a jabroni.

I soft reset over 10 times, and finally settled for a Rash Suicune. Saved the game, felt like shit. Seriously, RASH?! But I went to an IV calc, just for a kick in the balls.

HP, 30-31

ATK, 25-27

DEF, 30-31

SpA, 30-31

SpD, 30-31

Spe, 20-22

I kid you not. I have 30 or 31 IVs in HP, DEF, SpA and SpD. It has a Michievous "nature", so I think that means 31 SpA.

I want to check the IVs of my other legends later. <3

58 Def gives its some oomph, allowing it to take most +1 physical hits and retaliate in kind.

If you're using a full on sweeper in this Dos, Agility is for you. Even without Spe investment, +2 is still fast enough to hit opposing sweepers pre-boost.

So you should try and set up first, rather than send it in to counter an already set up Gyara or Mence.

@Ghost: Avalanch is too slow to threaten Zapdos.

@Dark again: All legendaries come with inherently high IVs. Your Suicune's are still pretty exceptional though. <3

It hasn't been proven that legends have generally higher IVs than normal. I just ran IV checks on all my legends (and Snorlax), and most were dead-low shit. I'm pretty sure IVs on legends are roughly the same as on normal Pokemon, as I cannot be unlucky with 3 or 4 legends. <_<

Dark's lolegend Log

Legend - Nature - Status - Pokeball Used - Total Used

Approximate IVs (HP / ATK / DEF / SpA / SpD / Spe)

Note: For the IVs, the lowest listed IV (at the time of calculation) is listed below. Characteristics are also taken into account when determining which IV is listed.

Raikou - Lonely - 1 HP, Sleep - Pokeball - 54

8 / 25 / 3 / 28 / 28 / 3

Entei - Relaxed - 1 HP, Sleep - Pokeball - 12

13 / 30 / 25 / 8 / 23 / 23

Suicune - Rash - 1 HP, Sleep - Pokeball - 10

30 / 25 / 30 / 31 / 30 / 20

Snorlax - Sassy - 40 HP, Sleep - Pokeball - 5 (4 Heavy, 1 Poke)

6 / 14 / 26 / 6 / 20 / 24

Caught with Leftovers and Ability "Thick Fat".

Lugia - Calm - 2 HP, Sleep - Pokeball - 27

20 / 3 / 25 / 18 / 21 / 5

In each "legend" I listed, I only see (minimum) three 20+ IVs. And I'm certain that if I go around trying to catch a wild Pokemon, I'll receive similar IVs, because they are generated at random. I understand your argument, but there isn't much proof to back it up. Maybe try getting into the game's IV coding or doing some tests? I still firmly believe IVs are randomly generated, but I'm willing to waver with facts.

I've found a bunch of illegal combinations for normal Pokemon. <_<

Also, I'm just kicking myself in the balls left and right. I was only trying to get the Magnet Pass from the girl in Saffron. But as soon as I left the Fanclub House, Steven came. OH BLAH BLAH LATIOS DOESN'T BELONG IN KANTO, LATIOS BELONGS IN HOENN. Well, stfu up. Latios was my favorite legend from Gen III. <_<

So it was released into the wild. I saved my game after the release happened, so I had no hopes of nature-resetting. And besides, I'd have to rehunt and recapture Latios every time and soft reset for an adequate nature. So, I said fuck it. Saved, and went on with life. But then it hit me... I like Latios. I want him to have a good nature. <_<

Caught it once, it was Impish. Caught it again, it was Impish. So basically, I'm stuck with this shitty Latios. I haven't actually caught it in a Pokeball (both of the nature-confirming tries were with Master Balls), so I'll get to that later. But I already have its nature and IVs. And let me tell you... they are worse than the shittiest shit I've seen.

Latios - Impish

18 / 3 / 6 / 0 / 18 / 3

Yes, that is a 0 in SpA. It's actually between 0 and 3, but I list the lowest IV. Not a single IV over 20. I think I just proved your "legends have good IVs" theory wrong. Horribly wrong. Because this shitty mistake of a legend is just horrid. Oh well, thank Satan I am not using these at all for anything. <_<

On a happier note, I have 14 gym badges. And while my team only consists of 4 actual Pokemon, they are majorly overleveled. I OHKO'd all of Brock's Pokemon, with the exception of Omastar. That was a 2HKO by Earthquake. Absol is Level 60, Ninetales is 60, Ampharos is 57 and Feraligatr is 57. Yeah, and I still have two gyms left. Oh well. <3

I might as well plan ahead, but I need someone to transfer over 6 Pokemon from my Diamond to my SS. It's a simple process, and I can pay in EVd Pokemon or events or shinies or whatever. I could even attempt to chain for you. All you have to give is about 10 minutes of your time. <3

Lucky. Ehh, I don't see why I am complaining. I had no high hopes for the roaming legends, but I just love the Lati twins soooo much. D:

And unlucky on that many legends? I guess Suicune makes up for all of them combined, but still. D:

And nuu, I am required to pay you at least something. If you really don't want anything, take a shiny Rotom clone or something. <_<

Yeah, I have one. It's DDance and Babiri Berry, nothing all too special. But it has max ATK and Speed IVs, and it fully EVd. So I can clone that for you.

Honestly, I don't have many EVd Pokemon on my Diamond. I'd much rather competitive battle on Shoddy, where I can make a team in a few minutes as opposed to hours over WiFi. <_<

But I have enough to get me by some battles. And I have enough UU Pokemon that I won't be called an OU noob. Even though OU noobs with good strategies end up beating people to a pulp anyways. It's the OU tier, why is it considered bad to use a team of six OU Pokemon? <_<

I'm going to play Ubers and yell at everyone who doesn't have a single UU in their team. Meaning that Zex doesn't get yelled at. Damn Seaking.

xD I don't use Seaking unless it's Ubers Doubles. And even then it's situational.

Honestly, Dry Skin Toxicroak makes a better Kyogre partner from a non-sweep perspective. IT WILL NOT DIE. SERIOUSLY. Scarf the Ogre and have a Swift Swim Kingdra waiting in the wings for when Ogre needs to switch out for whatever reason.

If Groudon and Cherrim pop their ugly mugs (okay, neither are ugly, I'm just talkin' trash), smack them bastards up with Kingly Ice Beams (Or Ogre beams if the whale is locked into that). Palkia makes another great partner for this team due to its sweep potential.

They also enjoy company from Uxie, who can Memento an opposing Sweeper that got a Follow-Me setup, forcing it to switch out while you bring in something else, like Cresselia. She can pop up some Double Screens to further support a Toxicroak + Ogre/Kingdra sweep, and Lunar Dance a wounded Kyogre that you have called out of battle.

So you have two Sacrifices, a powerful physical buster, a pair of special sweepers, and a rain core.

Even if it does hve Dry Skin to soak up the rain, Tosicroak still isnt really force to be reckoned with. It's kinda slow if you aren't running max Spe and if you run +Spe it's brute force isnt all that impressive either. Does it get some kind of emmaculate coverage on common leads or something?

The point is that Surf hits your own Pokemon in Doubles, as well as your opponent's. As a result, Toxicroak doesn't die, ever, due to his faster partner always healing him of all damage with Surf prior to anything hitting him (since almost nothing will outrun Swiftdra or Scarfogre).

This means that Toxicorak can invest everything into Atk and HP - he doesn't need to be fast, and with a Life Orb, his physical prowess is pretty top notch when paired with the Special Devastation his partner (Kingdra, Kyogre, or Palkia) will be unleashing.

So while they blast away with STAB'd, Rain-Boosted Surfs (which heal our froggy friend), he can open things up with a Swords Dance, and then proceed to LO rape the competition with Stone Edge and Sucker Punch (which hit the two most common types in Ubers for Supereffective damage).

His fragility and low speed does bring the risk of OHKOs, but this is why we invest in Sucker Punch and Cress and Uxie's Screen Supports.

I believe the term is air-tight' date=' AHEM AHEM.

[b']Maybe in crappy America...[/b]

Yeah, I didn't know Water attacks healed Toxicroak. Mostly because I've never played Doubles and I had not a clue as to what Dry Skin really is... until now, of course.

I wasn't thinking Surf, more along the lines of Hydro Pump and Water Spout.

Coffee = America (and Colombia)

Tea = Britain (and India)

Coffee > Tea

America > Britain

IT'S SO OBVIOUS. <3

Felix, working on that damn Spiritomb. Gah, I may have to delay it 'til next weekend, but hopefully you'll get it soon. Zex, about the six Pokemon transfer, I can give you the Tyranitar whenever you want, but wait until tomorrow evening for the transfer. Because I want to do it soon after I beat Blue, but before Red.

Also, a thought occured. In order to promote a more healthy Toxicroak sweep, you may want to make it your lead alongside a Follow-Me user, swapping it in for Uxie. That way, Croaky gets a free SD on the first turn while your partner probably perishes (this is preferred) so that you get a free in-switch of Kyogre to get the ball rolling.

Some deadly Surf combined with a mean Sucker Punch will guarantee at least one 2HKO before your opponent can react properly.

Now I'm done ranting about this team. Anyway, Dark, I'll take the Tyranitar now, I guess. Can you name it for me? =D
