Dark
In terms of an OU team, I see a lot more people running SubTrans on WiFi, so be really weary of that threat. Not sure on Shoddy, but the metagames aren't that much apart. I can has OU Magmortar set? Magmortar @ Salac Berry4 HP, 252 SpA, 252 Spe Flamethrower / Fire BlastThunderbolt / HP IceFocus BlastSubstitute Outspeeds neutral natured, max speed Gyarados before the boost, and outspeeds +1 Gyarados (and anything slower) after the boost. Not too shabby of a speed, really. And it already deals with the threat of Gyarados, as it needs to be Jolly to not get ass-raped from a Thunderbolt. Simple set is simple. Hopefully get rid of Obamasnow/Tyrannifag beforehand. Hopefully set-up some sun and explode with Bronzong. Hopefully send in Magmortar without getting hit. Hopefully Substitute down to Salac berry. Hopefully sweep with +1 Speed and a really good moveset. If you get all the hopefullies in, you win. I promise. Obligatory STAB special move is obligatory. Thunderbolt for pesky Water-types, HP Ice for pesky Dragon-types that won't be OHKO'd by Thunderbolt (after SR). Focus Blast for Steel-types and Ice-types and Rock-types. THAT IS THREE FOR THE PRICE OF ONE. But shaky accuracy is fail. Best part about this moveset? With 31 IVs and 4 EVs for HP, Stealth Rock will help you sweep. You take 25% damage coming in, and you only have to Sub twice. This set helped me in a whole two battles. The other 5 or 6 battles I used it in, it became a one-time attacker or death-fodder. Or get-put-to-sleep...er. Help Magmortar get some more potential. <_<
Zexaeon
I hate Magmortar because he looks stupid. =D Therefore, regardless of weather or not he's good, I shun him.
Felix
I beat BehindTheMask 6-0, let me be the point leader again =0 Well it was actually 6-4 but but he fled because Breloom is such a cool guy. Topic: Magmotar is a cool guy. I like the mixed Magmortar my self. I can also give it a Scarf and see what it can do that way.
Zexaeon
I'll update your points later, when I'm at a computer. But in the meantime, I challenge you to a wifi BATTORU.
Dark
nuuuuu I don't want scarfed sets or mixed sets. I've experimented with them way too much and they don't work well in OU. I'm hoping that with some fixes, SubSalac would work in OU. BUT IT JUST SUCKS TOTAL BAWLS.
Zexaeon
DARK. BATTORU. WIFI. NAO. Or the pink one gets it.
Dark
Magmortar is pink? And nuuuu, I'm leaving in a few minutes and I won't be back 'til Sunday. But I have no homework on Sunday, so I'll prepare a team.
Zexaeon
Fine, fine, I've got Felix to molest battle.

Felix
Good match, 2 out of 3? Also, I'd like to help you on your quest to make your UU team fit for OU.
Zexaeon
Breloom is such a little mofo. =/ EDIT: Sure. EDIT 2: Actually, it can already handle most OU threats just fine. I simply was not at all prepared for breloom.
Felix
You're going to need a better check for Breloom than a not so bulky Zapdos with no Sleep Talk. Giving the Ghost thing Insomnia might go a way towards that but If Frisk is vital then maybe a switching of team mates is in order.
Zexaeon
As I said before, I never even considered Breloom when putting this thing together. I considered a whole mess of other things, but no Breloom. I wonder how I should go about this~
Felix
Mixed Honchkrow rather than Zap? But then you lose a check on Scizor. btw, Drill Peck was a nice touch.
Zexaeon
Actually, I think I have the perfect counter to solve this problem. Lemme go grab him. =P Drill Peck rapes Special Walls that think they have impunity. =
Felix
Case and point, Clefable :( Just wondering what it actually is though, no Leftovers gain, No Life-Orb loss and as of yet not a single use of T-Bolt. It can't be scarfed because it's slower than Breloom. Mixed Agility?
Zexaeon
Yep. I was gonna go for a bulky Zap, but then I realized most of my team is defensive enough, so it would be nice to surprise opponent's with a Mixdos (which actually does its job very well). Felix
Well I've never actually seen it before so yeah, nice shock factor. How much does it do to a 252Hp 252Def Blissy? I still wouldn't have thought very much.
Zexaeon
I ran the calcs, and its enough to 3HKO Blissey, 2HKO on the high-factor Critical Hit, and OHKO on a Critical with a LO boost. Once Blissey knows it's there, she'll run away, of course. That is, unless Umbreon traps her. Also, got my counter, so if you're willing to keep the same team for the sake of testing, let's go~So, Felix, you 6-0'd Behind the Mask in Ou, right? Then you 6-0'd me, I think, in round one of our battle. Then you 5-5'd me in the second round. My average tier was UU, so you score less for that (5 per UU, though Zap is still worth 10). Your total score for each of these combined is: 126 Pnts. I think we decided I got the win with our enxt battle, but what are your predictions on the outcomes? Like, How much to 0? Felix
Well, I was trying to get you to switch out Miltank, so either you switched it if I managed to Sleep it or you switched it out to let someone else be the fall guy. Either way I think you'll have played well enough to keep at four and wittle away my Pokemon. (0-4) to you. Breloom was pretty much the core of that team and you had the perfect check for him. Zexaeon
Alright, so that's 56 Pnts. for me then. Again, I'll update when I can - my PC got Blue Screened, so I'm on my PS3 right now, and due to Max Character limitations on it, I can't edit the first post without cutting some of it off. Xazeon
Here's a few choices of teams off the top of my head: Tentacruel (should be your lead' date=' with Toxic Spikes)JolteonFlygonSkarmoryBlissey (SkarmBliss is love)Infernape AzelfSnorlaxSalamenceAerodactylGengarHeracross LucarioRotom-CStarmieTogekissTyranitarScizor[/quote']I like your team choices. Dark
Luke lead? D: I've been trying out a Metagross lead, and let me say my prediction is shit. Ahh well, I'll need to practice my ass off over the summer. <3 Won't be as active; please read sig. And I was reading through the posts, and Mixdos doesn't seem as gimmicky as I originally though. I may want to test that out. Zex, what's the moveset and EVs and nature?
Zexaeon
Item is Life Orb (Necessary to give Drill Peck that added umph for the common defensive blob) Brave, 200 Atk, 252 SpA, 58 Def ThunderboltHeat WaveDrill PeckAgility / Hidden Power [Grass] / Roost I have all three variants. Agility for speed, but HP Grs if you're worried about Swampert ruining your day. Also, Roost if you lack Wish Support and want to stick around longer (LO Drops can add up). Dark
nuuu, I don't see any Speed EVs. This thing probably can't even outrun a +0 Gyarados. <_< Then again, it's bulky enough to take an attack and retaliate, or so I'd hope. Any reason for 58 DEF EVs?
