SuperScizor
Seriously, is drawing 2 more cards really that broken? And why did they ban Magician of Faith? All you get is a Spell Card back.

SuperScizor
That really doesn't answer my question... I just don't see how that's overpowered. Unless you can have Pot of Greed chains where you draw a Pot of Greed because of a Pot of Greed.
Guest Welche
It gets you 2 cards. That can help in any situation.
Cavv10
If you don't understand why PoG and MoF are banned, you are bad at this game.
Tourmaline
This raises a question, too. Is Avarice only not banned because you need 5 monsters? They both let you draw twice >.>It's probably only because it thickens your deck, or something.
Luna Lovegood
It makes Exodia way easier to use. Plus, when has having another card in your hand ,killed you?
Toffee.
Its because its an easily useable +1, and Konami was getting tired of EVERYONE explining its effect.[/topic] And Magician of Faith, although bieng a FLIP makes it slow, the ability to recycle Spell cards without any real effort is a little ridiculous. Thats why DMoC is also B&. Since hes a combination 2800ATK beatstick that removes monsters, in addition to bieng a Magician of Faith.(not to mention bieng DARK, and there bieng cards that revolve around DARKs bieng removed from play)
Master Hyperion
This raises a question' date=' too. Is Avarice only not banned because you need 5 monsters? They both let you draw twice >.>[/quote'] Avarice isn't splashable because it completely ruins your graveyard set-up and isn't fast or good enough in most decks. Pot of Greed basicly promotes to play a 38 card decks, since you will play Pot of Greed always when you draw it and draw 1 card that basicly replaced Pot of Greed and allows you to draw a 2nd card as well, meaning not only it thins the deck, but it gives you a rediclious hand advange as well. Thats why DMoC is also B&. DMoC allowed me to play 4 Brain Controls. It was awesome.

I NOW ACTIVATE MAGICAL DIMENSION!!! Opponent: FUUUUUUU No, pot of greed is banned because it is a +1 in EVERY situation it is used. MOF is banned because of its targets. Manjoume Thunder
Pot of Greed is banned because it's a skilles and splashable +1 that doesn't have activation requirements. The fact that it is a spell card promotes FTKs. It also thins your deck by 2 cards (5%) Pot of Avarice isn't banned, because not every deck can run it. It doesn't promote FTKs, because it fattens your deck by 3 cards (~7.5%) and most FTKs don't run enough monsters to support it. Magician of Faith isn't broken but Konami doesn't want it unlimited, because no one wants to see multiple Heavy Storms in one duel. EDIT: I ACTIVATE POT OF GREED!!! I GET A +1!!! I NOW FLIP SUMMON MAGICIAN OF FAITH!!!! I CHOOSE POT OF GREED!!! I NOW HAVE A +3!!!! I NOW ACTIVATE MAGICAL DIMENSION!!! Luis2
I use Magical Dimmension in my Dark Magician deck. Cyber Valley is my Pot of Greed because you can use it on a Token and Thunder Option Tokens can come back after that.
