[spoiler=Prologue]

Not much was left of LA in the aftermath of the greatest tornado seen by human eyes. It was said that more then 3/4 of the population had been killed, and corpses was still found in the ruinds of what once was one of the greatest cities on earth. The young man walked on the collapsed buildings, he was looking for a person.

How the hell would she survive this? It feels like if I'm looking for a living fish in the desert...

Finally he heard a weak sound coming from a fallen house.

"You there! Plase help us!" A man's voice screamed from within the building.

The young man turned towards the building. "Is there a woman with you?" He already knew what the answer was.

"No! But please help us!"

The young man ignored the trapped man and walked away. He was looking at the ground and stopped at the sight of an asian-looking face looking up at him. The young man was looking at a broken mirror, with it's pieces spread across the ground. His right eye was tattooed with a blue tattoo that slightly resembled a waterfall falling from the right eye down his right cheek. He smiled. He then heard what he was looking for. A woman's faint voice coming from the debris just next to him.

He turned towards it and eyed the debris.

"Hello? Is there anyone there?" The young, asian man asked.

"Help me..." A womans faint voice said, and the man started digging through the debris untill he found the young, blonde woman. She looked to be around 18, and her left cheek had a scar, probably placed there during the storm. Even though her face and hair was dirty she was still beautiful. The man held her in his arms.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Lilly... Who are you?"

"My name..." The man flinched. "It's not important right now."

It's her, he said that her name would be "as beautiful as a flower"!

"I'm here to save you." The man simply said.

"Where's dad, where's my family?" Lilly's voice was weak.

"They're all dead." The man had no sympathy in his voice, and as the words was spoken, Lilly passed out.

I'll have to bring her to him.

He lifted her from the ground and walked away. Neither of them was ever seen in LA again.

Did you seriously just use my name and hair colour and appearance age for public purposes >->"

Looks to be a good prologue. I found a couple of spellings errors here and there, but overall it seemed good. Though the pun at the end was terrible ._.

Azza, only time will tell (but the asian isn't the main character) ;D

[spoiler=Showdown 1]

Warren looked at the crowd around him. This was his chance to show that he was the best duelist of the Domino Duel Academia. After weeks of struggle he was at last in the finals of the DDAGC (Domino Duel Academia Grand Cup) held at the end of each year and his opponent was no one less then his friend and rival, Alistair. Warren, who was a second-year student, currently had the upper hand, with a total of 2800 life points, while his opponent was at a mere 500.

If I just can defeat him now, then I will be the best duelist at DDA!

Both Warren and Alistair hadn't lost a single duel during this year, so both of them were going all-out in this final duel to determine who of them was the superior.

Alistair looked at the field. His opponent, Warren, had just recently summoned Z-Metal Tank using Call of the Haunted, and his field now consisted of X-Head Cannon, Z-Metal Tank and Y-Dragon Head, along with Call of the Haunted and a face-down card. His own field, however, did only contain the Tuner monster Crowner of Kings. He looked at his hand.

"Warren, may I ask what that face-down of yours is?" Alistair jokingly asked.

"Yes you may!" Warren said and smiled while he scuffed away some of his brown hair that covered his sight. "But you won't get an answer!"

At that answer Alistair smiled and looked at his hand and notice a card that he for some reason had forgot. Of course!

"I will tribute my Crowner to summon Zaborg the Thunder Monarch!" (2400/1000) Alistair shouted as his monster faded away and instead made place for a greater monster. It was armored with silver armor and had big, red claws. It also, to Warren's amusement, sported a green afro.

"When Zaborg is summoned by tributing a monster, I can destroy one monster on the field!" Alistair pointed at Warren's X-Head Cannon. "Space Thunder!" Zaborg fired a lightning beam at Head Cannon and it was instantely destroyed.

Damnit! Warren's plan had been crashed. He looked at his hand in a desperate try to figure a new plan out. He smiled when he saw something in his hand that he hadn't noticed before.

"Now! Zaborg, attack his Y-Dragon Head! Rolling Thunder!" Zaborg raised his hand to the sky, with his palm open he fired a lightning towards the sky and it then fell down towards Y-Dragon Head.

"Nay! Negate Attack!" Warren shouted as he activated his face-down. "This completely stops your attacks for this turn, better luck next time!"

Alistair was a bit angered at this turn of events, but he remained calm.

"Thus I end my turn."

"My move! Draw!" Warren drew a card and then pulled the card he had noticed before out of his hand. "I summon my second X-Head Cannon!" (1800/1500)

The robot once again appeared on the field, and aimed it's guns towards Zaborg. "XYZ..." The crowd suddenly went out loud when they realized that Warren was about to bring out his ace. "When they all combine they will form my ultimate monster! XYZ-Dragon Cannon!" (2800/2600) All three of Warren's monsters started to fall apart, but the parts then combined to form a new, greater monster. Alistair's face remained the same. "I activate XYZ's effect! By discarding one card I can destroy your monster!"

"No!" Alistair shouted as his face-down was flipped face-up. "This is Anti-Force Shield! It stops an effect that would remove a card on my field from the field, and you cannot attack during this turn!"

Warren's face turned into a stressed face and he tried to figure out something he could do. He realized that there was nothing he could do at this moment.

"I end my turn." He simply said.

This is the turn when I win.

"Draw!" Alistair smiled. "You know Crowner of Kings' effect, right?"

It felt like if Warren's mind had been hit by a truck.

Crowner of Kings' effect! Crap! I forgot all about it! I've seen Alistair use it so many times, and still... Damn!

"I activate the effect of the Crowner of Kings in my grave! When it's tributed for the summon of a Monarch Monster, it may be Special Summoned during my Standby Phase!" The small, golden armored warrior appered. It was holding a crown and was kneeling. (1200/200)

Damn, damn, damn, damn!

The crowd started shouting Alistair's name and he made the victory sign with his hand towards the crowd.

"Listen as the crowd sings! The old king is dead, long live the king! Synchro Summon! Hail, Zaborg of the Howling Lightning!" (3000/1600)

Crowner of Kings turned into two green rings that enveloped Zaborg, and the monarch started to evolve. Where the old king had been, there was now a new one. He was armored with his old silver-plates, but it sported golden trim, and instead of the afro there was now a big, golden crown. The new monster was sitting at a golden throne. The crowds shouting went even louder. Alistair smiled. "I now summon Treeborn Frog." (100/100)

Damnit, damnit, damnit!

"Zaborg's effect! By tributing a monster I control I can destroy up to two cards on the field! Destroy his Dragon Cannon!"

"Warren!" Warren awokeand realized it had all just been a dream. Well, more like a memory. It had been one year since he had lost to Alistair. Alistair had now educated from DDA and was a famous duelist in the Pro League. Warren looked up and saw the silhouette of his teacher, but the view was very fuzzy. "Warren! Wake up and put your glasses back on!" Warren realized that he wasn't wearing his glasses, they must've fell off when he fell asleep. He picked them up from the desk and placed them on his nose. His sight returned to normal, and he was looking at his teacher, Gregory Anderson. Anderson was a bald man with a scarred face. He had once been a military, but had now retired and was a teacher at the Domino Duel Academia. Despite his harsh appearance, he was in fact a kind person.

Uhm. What class is this? Warren looked around himself and realized that he was at the news class. Since attendents to the Duel Academia didn't have time to go to regualr school, they ahd a few classes that didn't have to do with dueling. Most of these classes was held by Anderson, except maths. Anderson sucked at maths.

"Wilson!" Anderson looked at Warren. "Can you tell me what happend two days ago in L.A?"

"Uhm..." Warren thought for a moment and then realized what Anderson was talking about. "The tornado that killed 90% of the population." He answered simply.

"That's right." Anderson eyed Warren. "And what happened yesterday in Egypt?"

Eh... Crap.

"I don't know, sir."

"The earthquake, Wilson. I just told the class about it but you were sleeping."

"Sorry, sir."

Anderson smiled. "Back to the earthquake." He then said and everyone looked at him. "The earthquake wasn't as lethal as the tornado, it was actually helpfull. It revealed a lost tomb, belonging to an unknown pharaoh. Does anyone know what was so special about this specific tomb?" He looked at his students, and a blonde girl raised her hand. "Here's someone who's been reading the newspaper. So, what was so special?"

"The sarcaphagus was standing with the left leg before the right, and it's arms wasn't crossed." The girl said.

"That's right, Suzy." Anderson said. "Can anyone tell me what this means?"

Left leg before the right one? Arms not crossed? Wait... that means. Warren's hand was raised and Anderson nodded at him.

"That the pharaoh is still alive, sir." Warren said.

"That's right." Anderson said and smiled. "I'm happy you at least knows something about the world."

Warren didn't know if it was a compliment or not.

"Anyway, the sarcophagus couldn't be opened nor moved, so it's still in the tomb." Anderson said. "There's actually some people that says that this sarcophagus has something to do with the increase of natural catastrophes lately..."

Thanks for the comment. You guys are free to post character suggestions if you want to. They may not be featured in the RP, but I will take a look at them and see what I can do. Also, the story hasn't really started yet, this was just the pilot Chapter after all.
