    • Hmmm.. Considering 2 of their cards are banned, they all nearly have near broken effects and is only balanced by the bouncing effect, their good.
      0
    • Their balanced, good, but too slow for today's day and age.
    • Their kinda fun, but nothing too serious to worry about when dueling against them.
    • Bad. That's the only word.

What do you think their status in YGO is?

Are they gonna survive together in the current meta?

Do they need moar support?

Does anyone know my tragic past with Spirits which caused me to stick with them?

Will this deck help them out?

How nice. An 1800ATK betstick version of Brionac that is also Honestable.

 

....And this is kinda' ironic. Spirits have like' date=' what, 4 different FIRE-Attribute Spirts? So Fire Art could [i']MAYBE[/i] work.

But even then, that seems iffy

The deck in the OP is funking horrible. Just sayin'

 

And unless Konami decides to give them some broken support Spirits will suck as a decktype. Only some might be used as tech cards.

 

e.g.

Yata-Garasu (Broken sheet)

Asura Priest (Godly in the goat format and I've seen it being used in some formats after that)

Yamata Dragon (Disaster Dragon decks.)

Dark Dust Spirit (IIRC it has never been popular, but it's a nice tech)

Tsukoyomi (A pretty good card (horrible right now) and was one of the reasons Goat Control was so good)

The selfbounce is a huge drawback, especially for yamata / hino.

 

I do, however beleive that to make them playable we need something that allows:

- A constant draw engine (legacy is okay, but it'd be amazing if it was a spell)

- Searchability

- Stronger level 4's with OP'ed effects to balance out the deck.

 

Or at least a feild spell that is broken for themselves, such as a geartown type that prevents bouncing.

Scapegoat + Metamorphosis + Thousand Eyes Restrict + Tsukoyomi (Holy shi- I forgot to add Tsukoyomi to the list :D)

 

Try to figure out the rest.
