Jared sat on the horse. "Did you hear that? It was a footstep, in the leaves. A misplaced footstep, by the sound, but when I heard you, I thought it was that thing again. But you're too heavy. It was like, a bird. The fire is to see. I've got a feeling whatever it was doing, it wasn't good."

Jared jumped down, looking at James.

Written on the inside of the paper airplane:

"Well, clearly you can't follow directions. I'm a bit hesitant about this now, but the deed is done. If you really want to have some fun with Mr. Rouge, come to the Archery Range, 11:11 tonight. Bring anyone else who feels like having some fun. You won't regret it."

Instead of a signature, the paper has a crudly drawn hourglass and key at the bottom. Anyone well versed in the symbols of the Gods would recognize it as the seal of Janus. Only one kid here with him as a parent . . .

Jecht looked at the note. "Well, this looks fun." He said to himself smiling looking kinda stupid. He started walking towards the Apollo table thinking to himself. "An hourglass? What the ---- is that supposed to mean. Whatever." He said sitting down inbetween Yukki and Dante. "Hey guys, were gonna get out of dentention, and have a bit o' fun at the same time." He said and they both smiled meancingly. He handed Yukki the note and then she gave it to Dante.

"Who gave this to you?" Yukki asked.

"I dunno, it was an airplane that just landed at my feet." Jecht replied thinking about it again.

"Who cares?! We're gonna get Rouge good." Dante said excited for tonight.

Jared guided the horse back to the stables, looking over to the archery range. When he turned back, a man was standing there. He was about six feet tall, and had two faces on either side of his head. The god of decisions was standing in front of Jared.

"Lord Janus," Jared said, looking at the god. Lord was only etiquette when Jared was talking to minor gods, considering he played as big a part in the world. "What's brought you here?"

"It was my decision," his left side face said, laughing. "Shut up, you buffoon," his right said.

"Jared Black, son of Zeus," both faces said in unison, "You're decision will come soon. You should probably see the Oracle at Delphi..." Then, after pausing, the left side face added, "Or not, it's your choice. And it's a very important one."

Janus, the god of decisions, was gone as quickly as he appeared, becoming a cloud of mist before vanishing. "What an odd person," a voice said from the shadows, "It's a shame that Janus-guy can't have a better sense of humor. I'm sure he'd get a few laughs, other than his own."

"Who's there?" Jared said, looking around.

"Oh, just the shadows," a voice said, laughing, a movement in the shadows. Jared jumped in the direction the shadow came from, being cast by the fire, but he simply swung his sword into air, landing in the leaves. "Where are you?" Jared said, looking at the shadow that eclipsed his own.

Ross walked into the Hermes dorm. It was huge. Like, really, huge. There was at least 2 dozen kids packed in the room, in bunkbeds, flying around with winged shoes, (those were probably Hermes actual kids) testing weapons (on other kids). Man, Ross thought, I gotta find out who my dad is fast, so I can get out of this room. Ross walked over to an empty bunk and put his stuff on it, then walked back out quickly, to get some fresh air. He went outside to the sword fighting arena, and took a sword from the bin. He swung it around at the wall.

Jared stood in wonder at the shadows that seemed to talk to him. He lifted his sparking finger, which cast a small light around. There was no one around him that could cause the shadows, so he walked slowly, but then, his foot got stuck, on solid ground without anything holding him down. Except a hand, sticking out of the shadows, but it wasn't a hand. It was the shadow of a hand.

"What in Hades are you?" Jared said, trying to move, but he was rooted to the spot.

"I'm not in Hades, now am I, Jared? You're such a silly little boy," a voice said. It was clear now. It was small and girly, like a child you would stop to help, or a daughter. "I, though, am a Iskios."

Carlos stood at the center of the archery range, waiting for those he summoned with his airplane. He pulled out his pocket watch, a gift from his father. "11:09. They have two minutes. But they'll be here." Looking toward the stables, he could feel a godly presence. A very familiar godly presence. "Now then, what errand could have brought you here, dad?" Carlos wondered aloud. However, since whatever errand brought his father to the Academy did not involve him, Carlos returned his focus to the matter at hand: Planning the beginning of his trouble-making here. Soon, Mr. Rouge would be in for a suprise . . .

Jason had heard the exchange about Mr. Rouge. He liked the teacher, and did not want anything to happen to him. So, at exactly 10:45 at night, Jason packed up his sword, and a special medicine just in case, he began walking towards the archery range. He had been there last year, for he had been curious if he could use a bow or not. Yes he could use one, though he was not very good, and was missing quite a bit. When Jason reached the range, he stayed a ways back, so he could watch those who had planned something for Mr. Rouge. Now, all I have to do is wait.

Jecht, Yukki, and Dante were all running towards the archery range. They had forgotten about the time and were late running as fast as poissible, mostly because they were racing. Yukki ra straight in front of Jecht laughing. Once they were at the archery range, Yukki had won by the way, Jecht and Dante were panting but Yukki didn't seem to have broken a sweat. Jecht walked up towards Carlos. "Hello, Jecht at your service sir, what did you have in mind for Rouge?" He asked giving a sulaute and Yukki and Dante, still tired from the race, standing behind him, all three of them smiling.

The Iskios twined further up Jared's body, completely covering him in darkness. The girlish voice whispered in his ear, as if there was actually someone standing next to him. "Jared Black, son of Zeus, king of gods, unfortunately for you, you belong to me."

The shadows melted up Jared's body, as if draining into his head. The shadows crept into his eyes, temporarily covering them before sinking in. A voice inside Jared's head laughed again, "Jared, do you know how easy you are to figure out?"

Jared's arm moved up, grabbing his sword. He swung it at a tree, the blade glowing with electricity, and the tree fell. "That's good," Jared said, under the control of the Iskios.

Brian smiled. He had intercepted a paper airplane and he was finnaly going to see something interesting since he got to this cursed demi-god school. Well, clearly you can't follow directions. I'm a bit hesitant about this now, but the deed is done. If you really want to have some fun with Mr. Rouge, come to the Archery Range, 11:11 tonight. Bring anyone else who feels like having some fun. You won't regret it. It had read. Brian put the phone back in his pocket that he had taken a picture of the note and he got out of the tree he was sitting in.

oOc:I have no idea what is going on so if you would be so kind as to explain ill read the other posts soon but not right now...

"Hello. Name's Carlos, son of Janus, god of doors, time, and occasionally choices. So, you're the guys who feel like getting back at Mr. Rouge. Hmmmm . . ." He looks them over, obviously trying to size them up. He gives a slight chuckle, and resumes speaking. "Well, I think you'll be able to help me just fine. Now, what I have in mind is a little risky, and if we get caught, it might be much, much worse than just denention for you. It involves secrecy, infiltration, and quiet, ON-TIME (with this, he gives a little glare) operations. However, I can guarantee it will be the most fun you ever have here. Are you with me?"

Jason could not make out much of what the figures were saying, so he cautiously moved a little closer. As he inched forward, he was able to make out "ON-TIME". He wondered who had said that, and what they meant. Even more curious now, he moved closer to the range. He could now see all the figures clearly, and could see their faces. Though he had never met any of them, he could tell that they were all serious about what they wanted to do.

Jared walked up to the archery range, Vida slung on his back, his eyes somewhat smoky, but it was unnoticeable in the darkness. "Well, guys, I heard you're playing a prank on Rouge. Guess I should join in. No point in wearing a probation forever, plus, who'll know it's me," the Iskios said, controlling Jared. "There could be something good in it for me, though, right?"

Jared stuck Vida in the ground and leaned on it, waiting for reply.

"Hpmh. If it isn't pretty boy Jared, son of the Great and Mighty Zues. And here I was thinking you wanted to stay on Mr. Rouge's good side. Ah well, I see no reason you can't come along. Five is a good number for what I have in mind." Carlos' face darkened. "But I warn you. Give us away, or screw anything up, and Mr. Rouge will be the least of your worries. Same goes for the rest of you, if you do decide to come."

"Yeah we are." Jecht said with a confident smirk on his face. He turned to see Jared there. "I knew you'd come around." He said liking his chances. Five people. Then he heard something. "Shhh!" He hissed. "We're not alone." He said looking around. "it seems to me liek some students do like the cold hearted Rouge." He looked around but couldn't see anybody. "Come out, come out, where ever you are." Jecht said and with a movment of his hadn Yukki and Dante both crouched and incircled the archery range. "You can't get away now."

Ross got bored of the swordfighting after a while and took a walk in the woods. He saw the sillouette of a person, and then 5 more farther up. Confused, he walked up behind the lone figure.

"Hey," Ross whispered to the guy (Jason). "What's going on?"

Oddly enough, Ross could see the 5 people in the distance clear as day. Weird. Then he heard them calling out to him and his companion.

A smirk appeared on Jared's face. He lifted his sword out of the ground with little effort. The Iskios was strongest at night or in complete darkness, so there was no point in even trying to hide it. Vida was an inch away from Carlos' face. "First, don't call me pretty boy. That'd be bad for your reputation, and people would start rumors. Second, I don't need some son of Janus telling me what to do, so stay out of my business."

Jared swung Vida in the air, making it do flips, until it became a golden ring that slipped onto Jared's finger. The lightning bolt sat in the center of his hand, glowing blue with electricity.

Jason gasped silently. How had they known that he was there? Cautious, he gripped the blade to his sword, which he had...The sword! Of course, his movements would move the sword, and so make noises. Jason reprimanded himself silently for forgetting about that, then silently pulled his sword out, so it would stay silent. Then he crouched behind a nearby tree, in the shadows. You think you can outwit me? I am a son of Athena; I am the son of the Goddess of warfare and strategy. Jason took a deep breath, his silent monologue strengthening him.

Jared's bright, icy eyes shown in the direction of Jason, and he laughed to himself. "Just remembering something from earlier," he said to the rest of the people, who couldn't sense Jason's presence. An Iskios was a shadow, and knew everything about concealing inside them, and the Iskios inside Jared was in tuned with the shadows.

"Well, what are we going to do then?" Jared asked Carlos.

There was something wrong with Jared. Carlos could sense that something had happened to Jared. Exactly what, he couldn't be certain, but it was probably not a good idea to mess with him right now. "Whatever. I'm not telling you what to do, Jared. Just a friendly warning. After all, in the past you haven't been exactly . . . inclined to assist in such ventures. But, right now we have something alittle more important to deal with than either of our egos. Whoever was here, they heard us, and are probably on their way to Rouge right now. Give me a second." Carlos closed his eyes and concentrated, seaching the past for what he saught. "Yes . . . right there!" He finally said, pointing to the tree. "You can come out. I promise we won't hurt you." Much He thought to himself.

Jecht strung his bow and pointed it directly at Jason. In a flash Dante and Yukki were on either side of him weapons drawn. "A son of Athena. Blonde hair, gray eyes. Thinks he's te best becuase he's smart." He had a crooked smiled on his face. "I guess, we'll have to dispose of him and make sure he;s kept quiet no?" He said enjoying himself already. "Athenian, stand down, your surrounded, we won't hurt you . . . much." and gave a small laugh at himself. "I think we should leave what we do with him up to you." He said indicating to Carlos. "Choices, right?"

Jason stood, and faced the those who opposed him. "You take me for nothing, when I am much?" He laughed. "You are wrong. I do not think I am smart. I know I am smart, and I know that I am not the best...Though I am extremely good." With a flash, Jason was behind one of the kids, his sword at his neck. "Now, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Easy way, I get to leave freely. But hard way, we see how long it takes for me to saw to the kid's jugular vein...You know that would be a fatal wound, right?"

Ross silently cursed. What was that guy thinking? 5 against 1 wasn't good odds. Ross started to run then stopped himself. Wait, if I am a son of Hades like I suspect and hope, maybe I can turn into a Shadow!

Ross willed himself to be a shadow, silently praying to himself that it would work. It did. He was invisible. Though he sensed that someone could still see him.

"Stand down, Jason," Jared waved his hands, "No need to get that worked up over something, guys. Jason was curious, as all children of Lady Athena are, so please, if you would so wish to threaten the will of the gods, shoot the boy down. But you'll have me to deal with."

Jared was doing this. The Iskios was looking through Jared's memories. In times of crisis, apparently, Jared could push the Iskios into the back of his mind, allowing Jared control.
