Poseidon©
UPDATE 3: Via his Linked-in page, CEO and Studio Head of Infinity Ward Vince Zampella has also confirmed he has left the company by changing his employment status to "TBD". UPDATE 2: According to an SEC filing from this morning, Activision revealed an "internal human resources inquiry into breaches of contract and insubordination by two senior employees [presumably Vince Zampella and Jason West] at Infinity Ward." UPDATE: It appears that studio head Jason West has been let go from Infinity Ward. West's LinkedIn account now lists his position as "past," and shows that the position ended in March 2010. In addition, one of our own sources inside Infinity Ward has said that Activision is "flexing their muscles" against the studio, which is attempting to "push back against change." ORIGINAL STORY: A strange situation is reportedly unfolding at Infinity Ward's offices. G4 is reporting that "a bunch of bouncer-types" recently appeared outside of the Modern Warfare 2 developer's offices, and "were unwilling to disclose why they were there." Stranger is that Infinity Ward studio heads Vince Zampella and Jason West "met with Activision this morning and have not been seen by staff members since." G4 continued that many at the company are reportedly "freaked out" and "confused." The source reported that "everyone is on edge." COPIED AND PASTED FROM G4. Discuss. Personally, I think Activision was being a bit greedy, and wanted Infinity Ward to work on the the game, but they said no.

Poseidon©
So far no one knows what the f*** is going on. Apparently, Activision actually hired some people to find a legit reason to fire them. I suspect this is Kotick, because they fired them just before their loyalty money was due. Cyber Altair
That much we know. Also it's their royalties that he didn't pay however firing them would cost a lot more so I'm sure something isn't right here.
