ShootingTheMoon
This is my Pokemon RP called "Pokemon Onyx Version. If you want to join please fill out app below.Trainer Name:Pokemon, Up to 6:Badges:Gym Leader/Elite 4 (optional):Good/Evil:Plot: The Elite 4 have been have been getting stronger, as has Team Galactic. But when The Elite 4 discovers TG's plot to destroy all of the regions they must stop them! [spoiler=You cannot use these Pokemon]Mewtwo Total base stats hitting 680, this is one mean Pokémon, with an impressive movepool to boost. Not much will outspeed it, let alone a "counter" outspeeding it, and being able to damage it without being OHKO’d. With an insane movepool, this is one deadly beast. Many refer to Mewtwo as the ultimate Sweeper. Mew Mew's base stats "only" hit 600, but what it lacks in punch, it more than makes up for in terms of a movepool. Many of the "special" 600 BST Pokémon are NOT banned, Mew is for one simple reason - movesets. Even some of the deadlier standard Pokémon can be taken down with some common sense prediction, ie which moves it is using from its limited movepool? But how can you predict when your opponent can learn *almost* everything? Wobbuffet Many people shake their heads in disbelief at this one. Why is a 415 BST Pokémon on the uber list? Decent HP and Mirror Coat and Counter allows it to be extremely difficult to kill in a single blow, and with it's decent HP, could reflect the damage back at you for a certain kill. Encore can trap you a move for up to 5 turns. Your opponent would then LOL as it switches to something else and sets up on you. Safeguard means that your attempts to status it will be null and void. Shadow Tag as well means you can't switch. Simple as. Now all of these individually are not that big a deal, as many Pokémon have the potetial to perform these feats, but not all together on the same Pokémon. Shadow Tag also used to create the potential of a Wob v Wob showdown, but Shadow Tag has been changed so that other Shadow Taggers can escape each other. This blue blob is still a doozy. Lugia Lugia's base stats hit 680, like Mewtwo, and in some respects, Lugia is like a reverse Mewtwo, in that is is more defensive, whilst our Genetic friend is definately more aggresive, albeit with a few extra weaknesses, but with the abilty to recover that damage and boost its stats further, and possesing an impressive array of moves, Lugia is simply too cool for school, as they say, with the ability to wall almost anything. Ho-oh Famous for making in appearance in the anime, right in #1, before it was even named or featured in a video game, the advent of an even more aggresive metagame, in which the fire type is hindered further remains to be seen where Ho-oh will end up. Like its metallic twin, it posseses a 680 base stat total, and is more attack orientated than its psychic type counterpart. Despite losing 50% to stealth rock, it has a nasty movepool and enough attack power to say that if it switches in, despite being severely molested, it can set up and own, as well as being able to recover from those rocks. Very deadly and despite the ease in which it can be countered, it can still wipe out an entire team. Latias and Latios An Uber, that many people think are acceptable WITHOUT the broken Soul Dew. First things first, Soul Dew is not as broken as it was in advance. Latios is offensive, and therefore the Soul Dew will boost his Special Attack. But he is Uber without it. He has a BST of 600, but with the important stats carrying the power, he has some serious resistances and don't have the common 4x Ice weakness that plagues his Dragon cousins. Throw in an impressive movepool, the ability to use Recover to heal himself and boost their already 1337 special capabilities, and you have a monster that you wouldn't want to face. He also has the option of attacking on the physical side, with dragon Dance, and a higher attack stat. Latias has been deemed OU, but WITHOUT the Soul Dew. Kyogre A true beast. A trait that would make Tyranitar cry and even admit defeat, with a stat total hitting 680, and a movepool to hurt many types, a true beast to be feared. It could care less about the advantage it gives to the Electric types switching in, because with their general poor defensive stats, they will surely get hurt by powered up Water moves, let alone the powerful Super Effective moves it learns as well as the fact that grass and electric types are rare in Ubers. Generally difficult to kill, especially on the special side, this monster will truly wash you away. Groudon And Kyogre's nemesis. This was meant to be a fire type, but instead, they give it a type that has better resistances, but has a movepool that allows it to pretend that it is. It can run a few roles in the Uber metagame, sweeper, supportive, wall, you never know what to expect from it. Also gives help to other pokemon in the metagame, as a Chlorophyll boost can just be what your Exeggutor waiting in the wings needs to outspeed and destroy your opponent’s team. Rayquaza Anyone who has been on the receiving end of a mauling by a Salamence will know the pain when you imagine a stronger version of it, with an even better movepool and 80 extra stats. Sure it might be slightly slower, but what it loses it makes up for in punch, and most Salamence sets Dragon Dance anyway so wouldn't utilise the natural Speed. It is only one of 2 pokemon that can Dragon Dance and Outrage, reason enough to ban it with 150 base attack. A truly fearsome beast that could care less if you had a pokemon with STAB Ice Beam on it if holding a Yache berry or a Focus Sash. You'd better hope it kills it in one hit. Deoxys (All Forms) All 4 versions of Deoxys can be used and obtained in DP. All 4 have a 600 base stat total. Sharing the same insane movepool, the standard version is an offensive monster with limited defensive capabilities, but will seriously maim, if not kill almost any Pokémon it faces. The attacking monster has less defensive capabilties, it will likely fall to any attack, but will outspeed you more likely than not, and almost certainly end your Pokémons role in that battle with extreme speed and attacking stats. The defensive version will not be going anywhere, and will likely Pressure stall you to death, whilst it LOLs at you and dusts off the damage with impressive defences and recover, as well as setting up entry hazards which make switching in hard. The speed version was to be considered as OU, but after the popularity of the “Dual Screen” Deoxys-s, everyone was forced to have a very fast Taunter and games often balanced on the speed tie, i.e. whose Taunt went first. This made for an unanimous decision for it being Uber. Dialga, Palkia, Giratina and Giratina-O, Manaphy, Darkrai and Arceus Dialga has a superb type combination, good movepool and a 680 base stat total, which is almost certain exclusion in itself. It can do all sorts of roles as well, with Bulk Up, Restalk, Trick Room Sweeper, and ordinary sweeper as well. Palkia has only one weakness, but is common in the Uber metagame. However, a 680 base stat total and just as useful a movepool, but not the defensive capabilities to support, but can sweepe easier with better speed and Attack stat for the pink whore of special walling (blissey). Giratina has a unique typing, the same 680 BST and a healthy mix of good moves. However, like Palkia, Giratina can only do one thing, but boy is it good at it. Stalling. With 150 Hp and Will-o-wisp, it can completely shut down physical attackers, while can EV it’s 120 SDef to take Special hits better as well. Giratina-O, however, is an attacking force. With good attacking stats, decent bulk, and STAB Outrage, it all looks good. However, it can only hold the Platinum Orb. This works in the same way as the Orbs for Dialga and Palkia – they raise their STAB options by 20%. It also cannot be Tricked off Giratina-O. It’s a good job (or bad, if you’re facing it) that Dragon and Ghost hit most of the Uber Metagame for SE damage. Manaphy was originally OU at the beginning of DPPt. However, with its trait, which allows it to heal all status effects if it raining, even self inflicted ones, it can regain 100% of its decent health in one go and attack next turn. It can also do a sweep with Tail glow and a good Special movepool. It loses to Blissey most of the time, however, as Bliss often carries Thunder which is Super Effective on the little blue pixie which is 100% accurate in the rain that Manaphy loves so much. Darkrai is damn fast and has an 80% accurate sleep move as well as a trait that eats at opponents HP if they are asleep, it can completely shut down any ResTalk strategies. This is not the only thing it can do, as it can sweep with 135 base SAtk and Focus Punch for Blissey off a decent, but not great attack stat. Arceus. A pokemon so powerful it gets its own sentence. With base 720 Stats, the highest EVER made, and a movepool that is almost as big as Sinnoh is as well, this God Pokemon can do nearly everything in existence, and can do it well. As well as being generalised, it can also be used to counter specific threats, as it can be any type it likes, with a special 100 power STAB move no matter what. One of the more dangerous ones are the SD ExtremeSpeed physical attacker, which can only be counted 100% by Giratina, unfortunately. When it was revealed, many joked that it should be in a tier of its own. Garchomp Garchomp is the newest pokémon to enter the Uber realm, after terrorizing the OU metagame for many moons. With an attack stat almost reaching 400, bulk that rival’s Swampert and annoyingly enough speed to outspeed the base 105’s, Garchomp is a monster. The Swords Dance set (especially with a Yache Berry) was almost impossible to stop with one pokemon, as one would break the Yache, while the other killed it. 1/3 of your team needed to bring down the Land Shark. Choice Scarf can outrun and kill with a speed that approaches 450. It can also run mixed, with the “ChainChomp” set, and have 28% chance to miss with the SubPowder set in Sandstorm. This is one shark that Jaws would have avoided. *UPDATE*Co-Ordinator Form:Co-Ordinator's Name:Ribbons:Pokemon (Up to 3): Also, SInce our last thread was locked, we must have longer posts ;)

Flaring Rose
Seth was running away from 20 different gang members. "Suicune! Your turn!" A blue beastly dog appeared from the custom Pokeball. "Use Blizzard!" Suicune howled at the sky and then ice shards combined with a gust of wind to freeze the gang members pokemon. There were a few gang members left. "Nice work Suicune, RETURN!" Suicune then returned back to her Pokeball. "Arcanine, your turn! Use Fire Blast!" Arcanine shot a Fire Blast to all the Gang Members pokemon. They all fll down KOed. "They are no way getting my Pokemon.
Spartan919
Jason saw the guy with the Suicune and Arcanine. He fought well; Jason decided he would not interfere in the other guy's fight. When the kid threw the Pokeball, Jason reached down, and felt his own. He wished he had some legendary Pokemon, but at the moment, he did not possess any particularly rare Pokemon, at least to the extent of his knowledge. Lucario, Luxray, Gabite, Feebas, and Prinplup...Yeah, they're not rare at all. I think...
