The idea is simple, you take an anime and make edits to it as to what it would be like if owned by 4Kids. [spoiler=Death Note]- It will be set in America, and all Japanese references will be removed.- The name involves a word that children shouldn't know. For this, we shall rename it 'Shadow Book'.- The concept of the 'Shadow Book' will no longer be Death. Instead, when you write someone's name in the 'Shadow Book' they will be sent to the Shadow Realm.- Ryuk is scary. His role will be removed completely, along with all other Shinigami.- 'Yagami' is a surname that may be difficult for kids to say, so it will be changed to 'Smith'.- L's name 'Ryuusaki' is Japanese, and therefore will be changed to 'Steve'.- Misa's outfit is too 'sexy', and will give children the wrong image, so it will be changed.- The ending will be glorified as an American victory, just like WW2. Marisa Kirisame-ze Posted February 27, 2010 Report Share Posted February 27, 2010 [spoiler=Shakugan no Shana]-Since Nietono no Shana is too long to say and is to much of a harmful weapon, it'll be changed to "Magic Wand of Shana".-Shana is to much of a rare name, it will be changed to Sharon.-All qualified terms, like the Reiji Maigo, will not have any effect, therefore, this anime will just be a slice-of-life.-Shana's phrase is to mean for little kid, it will be changed to "Please be quiet, please be quiet, please be quiet". Half of each episode would be also removed I think Evangelion would become no more than just some kind of super sentai. They already have the uniforms with different colors and will be using their mechas to fight the alien-of-the-week. There are a lot of things that would be changed in FLCL. Someone else list them. A mice idea would be a to get those animes and put then to toonami since 4kids got many animes that are considered way too extreme to young children i believe that would be a great idea and im not doing this because i hate 4kids and i don't even watch it its because there are anime that docent belong there that's all. Rachel Lillis (Intress, Misty, Ursula) was Briar Rose in one episode. Imagine if this series was re-dubbed by 4kids.
