LORE:

This card is used to Summon "The Great Leviathan". You must also Tribute monsters from the field or your hand whose total Levels equal 12 or more.

 

 

LORE:

The giant serpent that intended to destroy the world. It employed the Orichalcos stones to corrupt people. It and it's followers destroyed Atlantis but the Great Beast was weakened and lied dormant in the ocean. A man gathered the souls of the world in hopes of reviving this fallen behemoth. Near the end of the world, that man will succeed in awakening the Great Beast and will merge with it. The Legendary Pharaoh's soul is destined to combine with this beast and consume the world in the epic Battle of Time.

 

 

Actual effect:

This card can only be Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "The Coming of the Great Beast". The ATK of this card is equal to the number of monsters in your Graveyard x1000. While "The Seal of Orichalcos" is face-up on your side of the field, this card cannot be destroyed by card effects. Negate the effects of cards that target this card and destroy them. The control of this card cannot be switched. This card can attack all monsters on your opponent's side of the field once each. Once per turn, you select and activate 1 of the following effects (If you do, this card cannot attack this turn):

● Draw 2 card

● Destroy 2 face-down cards on the field

● Destroy 2 face-up cards on the field

● Select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field. Take control of the selected monster until the End Phase of this turn

● Activate only when "The Seal of Orichalcos" is face-up on your opponent's side of the field. Destroy all cards your opponent controls.

On topic: Eh, kinda overpowered, more like borderline. The 1000 ATK boost per monster and the first effect are kinda...well, yeah, overpowered. The other 2 effects after that are fine, but I would add that it cannot attack during the turn when you activated said effect. Would seem better if that was added, but hey, it's your card.

 

The last effect is fine.

Anyways, OP'ed, if made possibly most OP'ed ritual monster in the game. Seriously, it's a easy Venominaga with lolATK. The typical newby card.

 

Since the pic's good and with newby bonus 7/10.

 

And by the way, I mean no offence but some of the guys on YCM are hard on cards they find bad. Especially people with 5 stars or more tend to be like that.

The real effect is cool and original, you should make it harder to summon not just sacrifice

well 12 stars isnt exactly a piece of cake..

but compared to the other gods, it is pretty easy to summon. I actually wanted this card to resemble the original leviathan in the anime. for instance, it needs monsters as sacrifices to be summoned. Easier with stronger monsters. in the anime, the leviathan needed souls to be summoned. The stronger the souls, the easier to summon (Atem's soul = most powerful soul, insta summon). also, its atk varies on your graveyard. in the anime, its power was depending on how many souls collected. see my point?

 

plus leviathan was more powerful then the egyptian gods =p

given this is based off the anime, I don't know if this should belong to pop culture or not

 

if not, the atk determining effect is too much for it. Not to mention you'll need to re-make The Seal of Orichalcos since that's not a real card anyway

@Zanda You act like he didn't dull the cards power furiously. It's a divine beast. If you look up the effects of Obelisk, it can gain infinite attack if you sacrifice the other 2 gods on the field. As for the Leviathan, it's attack was always infinite when you saw it in the show, if you go by the serpent Darts summoned in the duel with the Pharoah. The card this guy made is a Divine-Beast, so yes, it's gonna be more powerful than normal monsters. But there are still actual real cards out there still stronger than it if played right.

 

@Ragnarok Guess again. There is a real Seal of Orichalcos card, but very few were ever made. And it wasn't released to the general public. There was an event where people used it. If you look it up, you can find it. From what I remember, there were 3 different versions. And I'm not talking about the 3 different levels Darts used either. I'm pretty sure if you look on ebay, you can actually find someone selling it. Just type in the card name.
