[Gadgetron™] Corporation Fan-Fic (Please Read) Episode One Posted

Episode 1-Mr. Octavius

 

[Gadgetron] Corporation. Kaibacorp was a Corporation run by Seto Kaiba, and it was the strongest and richest Corporation in the world. Then, there was [Gadgetron] Corporation, a Corporation designed by Mr. Octavius.

 

Mr. Octavius was the strongest duelist in the world. He was very strong, and he was also smart. He didn't like talking to people, although he did if he had to, or if he was dueling. Only three people in the world knew Mr. Octavius' name, other than his family, and he trusted those three people, that is why he told them. It was important that no one knew Mr. Octavius' name, because they would be able to gain strength, and cards that duelists haven't heard of. He was the designer, and President of [Gadgetron] Corporation, although there was a man who worked for Mare, as the "President". Mare didn't want to talk to many [Gadgetron] card designers and such, because he didn't want them finding out his name. It's almost as if the world would be destroyed if the name of Mr. Octavius was known.

 

A man dressed in a suit walked into Mr. Octavius' office.

 

"Mr. Octavius, there has been an issue with one of the workers."

 

"Close the door. I don't want people to hear this conversation. What do you mean by issue?"

 

The man closed the door quietly, and looked at Mr. Octavius.

 

"Recently, we found three cards, known as the United Dragons."

 

"I know of the cards, what about them?"

 

"Mr. Octavius, yesterday, the United Dragons were in the Duel Stadium, hidden so they would be safe."

 

"Continue, Atlas."

 

The man's name was Atlas. He worked for Mr. Octavius as the President of [Gadgetron] Corporation. He was a talented duelist also. Atlas was the only duelist to defeat Mr. Octavius. He used a Fiend Deck, with cards like Shadow Delver and Gaius the Wicked Monarch.

 

"When I went to the Stadium to retrieve the cards, there was only two cards there."

 

"That means a person took one of the United Dragons. That isn't good, although there isn't anything we can do about it."

 

"Mr. Octavius, a card was found on the floor, near the United Dragons. It is the card Raiza the Storm Monarch, one of the Six Monarch cards used by me, you, and Mr. Alden."

 

"Find out more about the situation. Please give me the card, I don't want any duelists getting this card."

 

Atlas placed the card on the table in Mr. Octavius' office, and walked out the door. [Gadgetron] Corporation wasn't a tower like Kaibacorp, it was actually a Corporation that was in a building. The building had one floor, and Mr. Octavius' office was at the end of the building, that way people wouldn't try and interview him.

 

A man in the hallway walked to where Atlas was standing, and placed a piece of paper in Atlas' hand.

 

"What is this, George?"

 

"This piece of paper contains information on the United Dragons. I looked in the Card Stadium, at the United Dragons, and wrote down information I thought would be helpful."

 

"Thank you, George."

 

George walked to his office, and walked in.

 

The United Dragons were not designed by Kaibacorp or [Gadgetron] Corporation. It was not known who designed them, and that is why Mr. Octavius told the duelists at [Gadgetron] Corporation to find them. They were strong cards, and could be used in almost any Deck.

 

Mare was writing a note. This is what was written on the paper.

 

Dear Alden,

The United Dragons are not going to be yours. I ask that you return the card you took. I don't want to make conflict, although I will if you don't return the card.

Remix wanted me to comment this, so I will.

 

I think that events are going a little too fast here. The plot unravels itself at the speed of light, traveling from prologue through introduction of the main characters and ending at a plot twist, which is, altogether, 2½ chapters.

 

But I see no other problems with it. The grammar and spelling is nigh-flawless, and the structure suits it great.

 

Rating on Chapter One: 7/10.
