"RGHHH GRRRHHH!!!" Shioku rumbled more violently than before. "I'LL KILL YOU!!!" Just then the Master Emerald glowed more brightly and Shioku stopped and fell to the ground. A calm soothing voice was heard from the Master. "Shioku...i can understand your pain. But you have a special purpose. Do not let the darkness within you cloud that purpose." The Master then spoke to Juggernaut. "Juggernaut...You are the protector...i know you do not wish for this charge but it is the destiny of you three to save this world. When you find the Seven Chaos Emeralds bring them to me and you CAN cleanse this world of evil." The Master spoke to Nitro next. "Nitro...young warrior your master would have wished for you to do this. To become a true swordsman and hero means not just strength. But honor and valor above all else. When the time comes. You three will face the Robot Overlord...And it will be up to you to determine the fate of the entire world." The Master shone brigher now, so bright it almost burned. "Shioku can unlock the TRUE power of the Chaos Emeralds and i now give him control of this ability." The Master dimmed down as Shioku dropped gently into Juggernaut's arms and fell asleep. "Go now warriors of the Master Emerald...and good luck."

Juggernaut shook his head slightly at the words of the Master Emerald. It was true, he didn't like the prospect of being the new guardian. The main reason being that he would have to leave his beloved forest. He slowly approached Shioku and calmly patted the youngster on the back with his free left hand, his claws lightly jabbing the Ferret.

 

"You okay, Shioku?"

 

He sounded honestly concerned, and he was. He had grown to like the youngster. He turned his gaze upwards to Nitro, a look that really couldn't be read on his face. He then turned his gaze towards the Master Emerald, slightly confused as far as what to do now. He knew where one of the chaos emeralds was, but getting it would be a very difficult matter.

Shioku's eyes fluttered open and he looked at Juggernaut and then at Nitro and then the destruction he had caused. "I-i'm sorry...i just...i just." Before Shioku could finish though he was fast asleep breathing lightly out of exhaustion. While he slept he dreamed. And he dreamed for the first time in several years of his Mother's face, Not Tikal...his TRUE mother Her soft warm eyes shined at him. "M-m-momma..." He said faintly burrowing into Juggernaut's chest.

"My master..." A tear fell from Nitro's eye. "The emerald's right. Honor and valor are things I need. I can't keep going on revenge." He looked to the other two.If we're to save the world, we need to start working. I'm pretty sure this gem around my neck is one of them and there are seven, right?" We need to work together on this, so who's with me!" Nitro finally had valor, an element that would help in the future, but even then, he would need help.

Juggernaut sighed quietly as Shioku 'cuddled' up to him and shook his head slightly. He then turned his eyes to Nitro and looked him over a few times, assessing his strength. His face curled up in a smile as he gave a thumbs-up and simply remained where he was. As much of an embarrassment as it was to have been turned into a Ferret's 'sleepy-time buddy', he was going to stay there until the youngster awakened. Since he was now the emerald's Guardian, he would soon have to move his home up to Angel Island. That wasn't much of a problem as he could probably do it relatively quickly. The problem was that leaving would mean abandoning not only the Master Emerald, but also leaving the two youngsters behind for a short time. That was something he was particularly hesitant to do, especially with the recent appearance of Cyber.

Shioku woke up with a yawn and shook out his fur. "Oh hi juggerna-.....errrmmm I AM A MIGHTY WARRIOR!!!" Shioku said jumping about 6 feet away from juggernaut and taking a pose of manliness. "Ermmm so...we should...get looking for those chaos emeralds now eh guys?" Shioku asked in an overly manly tone of voice. "Okay just for the record i did NOT snuggle with him" He said pointing at Juggernaut

Juggernaut shook his head back and forth as he looked over at Shioku. He then looked to Nitro, and finally turned around completely to look back in the direction of his home. He sighed quietly before taking a seat on the ground. The smoke plume from an open fire within a chimney was just barely visible from the distance.

 

"It's gonna take quite a little while to move everything up here."

"Well, what are we waiting for? The sooner we save the world, the sooner we start living life like we're supposed to." Nitro was determined to finish the robots off. He took out his sword and did some minor practice to warm up. "Who cares how long it takes to move your stuff as long as we do?" He then turned to Shioku. "And dude, you definately snuggled with him." He turned and looked at the master emerald.

 

"How does one gem,despite it's size, hold so much power?" He said to himself.

Another flash appeared, This time apon Angel island. Here, cyber was compleatly isolated from all comunications of the Machine city ZERO-ONE and along with the mysterious Figure ruling it. Surrounding him was dense Jungle as he had warped of Course. Though with the thick Canopy, there was still patches of sky showing though, One with was the Structure of the altar for the Master emerald.

 

"Huh" Chills went down his Spine; Negative Chaos engery Was abundent in the area. Normaly there was just Normal chaos Engery radiating but Shioku's rage has Released a Near Inposable amount. Anyways, he sson started to navergate though the weeds, plants, Trees and Overgroth to reach the Altar. There stood The Emerald, Glissening in the sunlight.

 

"Been years since i been here...and nothing has changed" He though to himself, Flashbacks started to fill his head from when he first arrived on earth during Sonic's era. But, this was Interupted by him snapping a Twig and Blowing his cover.

Shioku looked right at Cyber and smirked. "Buddy...you just made the WORST mistake of your life." Shioku said taking a stance. "THIS time we're not gonna hesitate to kill you." Shioku began spinning at rapid speeds gathering light energy inside his body. "Ready....GO LIGHT DASH!!!" Shioku rocketed forward in a corkscrew at Cyber. Except this time when he was about 3 feet from him he curved around and bouced off the master emerald shrine and struck Cyber right in the center of his spine.

"Chaos Control!" as Quickly when Shioku connected to cyber, he dissapeared in a Green flash of light. This lead a path to crash into a couple of Dence stone structures surrounding the island. Another flash of Light appeared; along With cyber. Quickly he Jumped of a Thick stone pillar and His fists started to pulsate with chaos Engery. Within mid-air, the started to spin like a Ball of Engery dirctly at His enemy.

 

"Take This!" he shouted, Coliding his chaos empowered fists into Shioku with Tremdious Forse. This also lead to a Sonic boom caused frrom the Light speed attack he did in Mid-air.

"Woah!" Nitro was blown back by the sonic boom into a rock pillar. "That's going to leave a mark." He said as he looked at the crater in the pillar. He looked back at Cyber and drew his sword. "I may have not been able to do anything last time, but this time, it's different." He took a step forward to attack, but the ground fell away beneath him. He scrambled to grab on, but he was too late. He tumbled to the earth and hit the ground hard, leving large cracks around him. "S-stupid i-island..." He stuttered right before he lost conciousness.

"GHHNNN!!!" Shioku gasped for air when the attack connected and then he grappled onto Cyber and held on. "Hey Metal Breath...how much of that Chaos Energy can you handle before you overload?" Shioku asked hacking up blood. "I'm thinking a machine like you could'nt handle THIS!!!" Shioku shouted as he began sending pounding waves of energy from his body. Since he was hanging on to him Cyber took these waves again and again and again like a rocket launcher point blank. "So..." he asked as the waves barraged Cyber. "HOW MUCH CAN YOU HANDLE!!!" He said as he further increased the intensity.

Cyber felt the Pulses of chaos engery Hitting him, though to him they were Just like he was recharging his Cufflinks. He was created infused with chaos engery while Abord the ARC over Two hundread and fifty years ago, So any attacks like that would be useless. Though the blasts still have affects. The shockwaves from the Ever-strengthing attack were Starting to crack the Master emerald. Then, suddenly.

 

"Crrrrassssh!" The emerald shattered and Shards flew everywear. And without the Complete emerald, the Island would fall back to the Frozen lake below.

 

"Hah, you'v Just made a bad Desision. With all this chaos Engery arround im bound to Destroy you and That TRATOR Juggernaut; Along with this island." Cyber Explaned, glowing red. What happened next was Unavodable; Chaos blast.

Shioku jumped away from Cyber and his eyes glowed green. "I WON"T LET YOU!!! MASTER BLAST!!!" Shioku sent his own wave of energy that was the exact opposite wavelength of his Chaos Blast. The attacks both swallowed each other up. Shioku then made a dive at Cyber, landed in front of him and drove his face into the ground just as Angel Island made impact. The shockwave from this would shatter Cyber's head completley.

OOC: Alright, I thought I wasn't gonna have to say this, but I will. JUGGERNAUT IS NOT A funking CYBORG! He is a completely natural being and there is nothing mechanical about him.

 

Throughout the entirety of the events that had Occurred, Juggernaut had been standing off to the side and watching. However, once he saw the master Emerald cracking, he knew that something had to be done. He quickly shot into a run round the shrine at high speeds, creating a sort of whirlwind around it. When the Master Emerald finally shattered, the fragments were sucked into the vortex and thus were kept together in roughly the same place. He managed to maintain this form until Angel Island was near the ground and about to crash. At this point he ceased his running and allowed them to fall, all at once, into the ground of Angel Island. He had intentionally brought them away from the altar so that they would strike soft ground and be thusly undamaged. He shook the dizziness from himself and looked on as Cyber was annihilated by the combined force of Shioku's strike and Angel Island's impact. He nodded slightly in that direction and calmly sat down on the ground before the cluster of shards from the Master Emerald.

 

"Well...putting this back together won't be easy..."

Cyber felt the Shockwave of angel island go though His skull, his Puples Shrank and He Clenched his Fists. Five seconds later, His fists opened and there was no reaction. His Eyes closed and His spikes has Gone down, Just like sonics would. During the inpact, Even his skull cannot surrive that inpact and shards went into the Brain. He seemed Dead to everyone.

 

But then; another Green flash appeared. And it was Cyber?! This one was Diffrent though, he had a Green diamond thing Attached to his top spike and had a red jem embedded to that strange Device.

 

"Hmp. That Android was Useless, i told my master it would Never work. And Juggernaut, how Nice to see you again after that attack in Station square..." It spoke.

 

The dead looking cyber was a Fake, a android copy which by now started to flinch due to its Circuits Scrambled. The emerald within its chest though, Cracked and shattered. That was a fake too.

 

"And that shows you how fake that Copy of me was, you were able to beat it Easly because it was copy and the Emerald powering it was a Fake! While i herald the Real thing..." The biological Cyber explained.

OOC: Oh, nice move Kao. Sarcasm by the way, I'm pretty sure that doing something like that is on the verge of god modding. But eh, I think you're in for a little surprise.

 

IC: Juggernaut simply chuckled quietly as he looked over at the newly appeared Cyber. He knelt down over the shards of the Master Emerald for a few moments, before turning his gaze back to the cybernetic hedgehog. He picked up one of the larger shards, holding it to the light for a moment. The shard started to glow bright green, as did the other shards embedded within the ground.

 

"Oh, so good to see you again as well. I had thought there was a reason you were so weak. Forgive me, but I have to make this quick, Cyber, I do have a rather important duty which I must see to. By the way, I've been chosen as the Master Emerald's Guardian...so I think you know what that means."

 

The shards that were embedded within the ground suddenly sprang up into the air. In mere moments they were swirling wildly around Juggernaut, bolts of chaos energy sparking into him from them. Some might just recognize this as the shards producing a temporary link with each other using the wolf's body as a medium. Thus, Juggernaut began to draw on the power of the master emerald, a green glow surrounding his body for a moment. And then, in a flash of green light, the shards vanished and the green glow disappeared, leaving Juggernaut behind(think how the chaos emeralds always vanish when one of the Sonic Characters uses them to go Super Form). However, there was something different about him now. The gray areas of his fur had turned black to match the rest of his fur, and what's more he now stood to his full height, cane tossed to the ground by his side. A slight red aura emanated from him, almost like nearly invisible vapors. He turned his gaze to Cyber and chuckled quietly, and once he spoke his voice sounded much smoother and youthful.

 

"I don't think you've ever seen this, Cyber...I call myself Dreadnought when I am like this."

 

He began to bounce on his feet, jumping short distances back and forth while he got into a relaxed combat stance. The ground buckled beneath his feet as he moved and a wide, confident smile was upon his face. This was his Super Form, and he had just taken the battle to the next level.

Shioku's eyes began glowing a bright green color. "The Servers are the seven Chaos...Chaos is power...power is enriched by the heart...The controller is the one that Unifies the Chaos." Shioku chanted the incantation and Shioku also began to draw power from The Master Emerald. Not taking any of Dreadnaughts power but sharing in it. (The way Tails and Knuckles did in Sonic Heroes) And he was surrounded in a golded field of energy and he began levitating. "You ready for this? I'm SUPER Shioku!!!"

OOC: I know a but, but it was that or die. And i think a charcter like cyber whould not be that week.

 

"Inpressive. Is that what you did when you escaped just before your Upgrade? I should have taken the emerald and just left that stupid android to delay you. Nevermind, when you have 6.5 billion robots inhabating the planet which are after the emeralds, it wont be hard to find them."

 

Cyber clicked his Neck, then twisted his cufflinks to let a much more powerful flow of Chaos engery defend him. He knew that he cant fight Dreadnaught; his Sences told Him he was in for a Beating. With that he Jumped into the air and Spin dashed directly at Him.

 

"Without the shards, he cant remain super for long. Just have to stall him then he's Mine!"

 

But then Shikou appeared from hsi hole, Glwoing golden and floting. Cyber face looked like it was about to be hit by a train driven by Shadow.

 

"Dammit!"

It was then that Cyber's fear came to life as Super Shioku used a light dash to plow Cyber into the ground and then began to spin rapidly grinding him into the earth. "Hand Over the emerald and i promise i'll only send your LIMBS flying into the distance." Shioku said as he began pummeling Cyber into the air with a series of violent homing attacks. Each one began by faking Cyber out one or two times and then breaking through his defense with one powerful blow. He finished his barrage by sending Cyber face-first right into Dreadnaught.

Nitro was still unconcious, but he was seeing a vision. He was on a long beach, with a sunset reflecting over the waves. Children were having lots of fun playing around. The forest behind them was lush and beautiful. "Whu-where am I?" Nitro said to himself, but the children ignored him. Suddenly, the sky was covered in black clouds, and robots rolled in. Nitro jumped in front of them to stop them. "Get out of-" He was shocked as it rolled through him as if he wasn't there. The scenery around him changed. Now he was on a building watching a strange scene take place. He saw a cloaked woman lying on the ground holding a little baby. She was dying. Nitro didn't bother helping because he knew he really wasn't there.

 

"M-m-my son... Don't wuh-worry.. Everything will be fine soon..." With her last breath she screamed: "CHAOS CONTROL!" And three shining objects flew away to the corners of the world. "What was that all.." Nitro got a better look at the baby. He saw a green hedgehog wrapped in a bundle. He realized he was looking at himself. "No.. It can't be.." He looked at the woman and suddenly, Nitro lost control and burst into tears. He saw a weird spikey robot laughing from another building that looked oddly familiar.. and the scene faded away..

 

"There is a way to fix this." He heard a voice from the darkness. "Find the Chaos emeralds and another force and you can return to your happy life. Make haste! There isn't much time.." Before Nitro could ask, he came out of his coma.

Dreadnought smiled slightly as he saw Cyber coming straight down at him. He crouched down to the ground and cocked back his right arm as if readying himself to drive a punch upwards. He then threw himself into the air with a mighty jump, the force exerted producing a massive 50 feet across, 70 feet down crater in the surface of Angel Island, which was now on the ground. He rapidly accelerated up to above mach 5, but not quite to mach 6. Needless to say, he closed the distance between himself and Cyber in just over a second. As he reached Cyber, he drove his fist into the hedgehog's torso, sending him flying back up into the air.

 

"Chaos Control!"

 

Having used the residual energy of the Master Emerald within him to appear where Cyber would, Dreadnought was now above the Hedgehog. He pulled his right leg up to almost 180 degrees even with his hanging left leg. As Cyber came within range, he slammed his foot down into the Hedgehog, sending him towards the ground at rapidly increasing speed. By the time he struck Terra Firma, he was traveling at over mach 7. The resulting crash landed Cyber within the crater produced by Dreadnought's take off and thus did not enlarge it much due to the sheer level of compaction. That being said, there was absolutely no reduction of the force of impact that there would be if the ground had given way. A few seconds after Cyber's impact, Dreadnought landed on the edge of the crater, surprisingly lightly for his size. He slowly began to descend the steep slope, hoping to retrieve the chaos emeralds from a doubtlessly battered and broken Cyber.

Super Shioku landed next to Dreadnought and pounded fists with him. He took the Chaos Emerald from the broken Robot and then picked it up. "Just like i promised. Hand it over without a fight and we let you live...and i gotta say...that was'nt a fight." Shioku said laughing as he threw Cyber into the horizon. Just then the energy he was sharing with Juggernaut wore off and Super Shioku became Shioku once again. "Hmm i guess the energy from the Master Emerald only lasts us as long as the number of Rings we have...kinda like the Chaos Emeralds." Shioku said smiling. "I guess i had better get some rings handy if we're gonna use the Master's Power again. But we got what we wanted." He said holding the Chaos Emerald up to the sunlight.
