[Lonk]

Riptide was crossing the Great Lakes on foot to find hope of defeating the rouge machinery in his village. As he was crossing Lake Michigan, a shadow appears under the water and is closing in on Riptide.

 

"Whoa! barely dodged it. It is a Sea Striker!"

 

Riptide went hand to hand against the 10-foot sennitel. The sea striker unleashed a barrage of missles against Riptide. However, using his agility, Riptide managed to jump upon each missle and whack the Sea Striker with his tail. With that swipe, the Sea Striker has fallen.

"Hmmm, piece of cake. But I have to be a bit more wary here because I feel things are about to get heated soon".

"Is there nothing I can do to stop this madness!?" Nitro exclaimed into the silent forest. He was alone, and that was normal, but he left his shelter here in the hope someone would come and help him. his sword was strapped to him in aposition that would be easy to reach if attacked.

[The D.M.]

Shioku wandered about the forest searching for Angel Island and his beloved Master Emerald. "If i just find the Emerald i'll find the answers im looking for." But Shioku was hopelessly lost in this forest. He dashed along collecting Rings as he went. Bouncing off the occasional spring he would try to get a higher view but to no avail. He landed on a badnik and destroyed it. "Aww COME ON where the crap is the island?!?!" He shouted as he used a spin attack to get moving again.

Suddenly, Nitro heard something speeding through the forest. He decided to set a trap. A pit covered with leaves was made quickly and Nitro dove into a bush with his sword at ready. "Here we go! Something to take my anger out on." He thought.

[The D.M.]

Shioku sped right over the trap and just as the leaves gave away he jumped along the walls of the trap to appear at the end opposite Nitro. "HEY what's the big idea?!?" Shioku assumed that this guy was an assassin sent by Robotnik to destroy the Master "Hmph if you think killing ME is gonna help you forget it. I know WHO you are and WHO you work for"

Nitro jumped out of the bush. "DIE YOU METALLIC SC-hey! you're not a robot. What are you doing here?" Nitro reached down to help shioku out. "Name's Nitro, how about you?"

Leo had finally arrived in the city, which was now in ruins. "Dang!" he shouted over the ruins. "Where is everybody?!" His voice shouted over the ruins, echoing and echoing but with no reply. Suddenly, an arrow whizzed by his shoulder. "What do you think you're doing here?" a shadowy figure said. "Don't you know everyone is dead here? All the survivors are heading for Angel Island, which now lays under the Earth, hidden from the robots." he said. "Listen pal, I don't know who you are, or what you want, but I'm going to Alcatraz, whether you like it or not!" Leo said. "Fine," the shadowy figure said, "but I'm coming with you, there is something I want there." Leo was quick to answer, "Great! but try to keep up!"

OOC: @zarkys5 & Broxret XV: Please, guys, follow the advanced clause; please make all posts at least 4-5 lines minimum. I really don't want this RP to get locked, especially since this is the first Sonic RP in a while (Other than Kao's)

 

IC: "Next!" Zero called as he destroyed the 25th badnik that stood in his way. Deciding it was time to end it, he flipped onto his hands and used his jets to spin around rapidly in a circle. "Chaos..." a sphere of red energy began to form around him as he became nothing but a T-shaped blur. "Burst!" flipping back up, he expanded his four limbs outwards and a bubble of energy extended from his person, destroying any living and non-living thing within a 10-foot radius.

 

"Whassamatta?!" Zero taunted, landing on his feet as his shoes propelled him 180 degrees, making him turn his back to the robots. "You wusses too weak to handle little old me?" His jet shoes started up again, raising up two inches off the ground. "Catch me if you can, losers!" With that, he dashed out of the large ring of robots through an opening he'd created, the metal creatures clanking after him.

OOC: Thanks Jc. I have said on the first page that anyone who doesn't follow the rules(Or has terrible grammar.) Gets a Strike per post done so normally I would kick you two out. But I'm feeling genorous so next strike and both of you are out. Plus you just OOC only posted Zarky.

Plus Broxret, this is not like the video games. There are no rings springs or anything like that. It is normal earth and we just fight and such.

 

IC: Slash sighed. The kids had run off, not that he blamed them, and his boss, the president of america, was dead. He didn't know what to do next, when he heard someone shout, "Catch me if you can." He was about to move towards the sound of the voice when he saw a Hedgehog fly through the air, seemingly on rocket shoes. "Catch him. He's going so slow a snail could." And he was a blur for a moment, be for materializing on the Hedgehogs back, pushing him to the ground. As they were about to hit the roof of a building, Slash put fire underneath him and let Zero drop. As Zero hit the roof of the building, not that hard as it wasn't that far below them, Slash appeared beside him and the robots chasing Zero were falling in small pieces. Slash retracted his claws and looked at Zero. "Why didn't you just kill them? And what's your name?"

[Lonk]

"Robotnik.....just what are you planning?" As Riptide was crossing the Great Lakes, he was defeating as many robots that come against him. It was at Lake Erie where his fate would be decided.

 

"Help!" Riptide heard a shriek come from a boat. He runs to the boat as fast as he can. "Ahhhh! How are you walking on water? No time to explain. Get us out befor--". Suddenly, the person was captured by some kind of mechanical serpent.

 

"Hahahaha!" The mechanical serpent was another one of Robotnik's rogue robots. "You let her go! Why do you need her anyways?"

 

"I don't need her much whatsoever. I want you to join me. If you join me, I will release her. If not, she dies!"

 

Riptide was faced with a difficult decision: Betray his own clan for the sake of one life, or have an innocent life perish in the hands of robotnik?

 

(to self) "I, I don't know what to do. I wish I had someone to help me here".

[Azure Flame Kite]

OOC: Not to be rude, ZeroChill, but read the plot; Robotnik's been dead for a good while. The closest thing you could get was a descendant.

IC:"Yeesh," Zero muttered getting up from his crouching position from when the feline-like animal had so rudely pushed him into a building and dusting himself off. Luckily, he was agile enough to flip around so his feet were facing the ground and landed with a loud *Thud!* "First of all, it's proper manners to introduce yourself first, but since I know you lack those manners, I'll go first; my name's Zero, Zero the Hedgehog," he stated, pointing a thumb to his chest before turning around and walking starting to walk away. He got the feeling that he and this guy wouldn't get along too well.

[The D.M.]

Shioku realised that there had been a misunderstanding between the two of them. He pulled away from Nitro and dusted himself off. "Name's Shioku and what i'm doing here isn't any business of yours." Although he knew he wasnt an associate of Robotnik he still didnt know if he could trust this hedgehog. "I think a better question would be why YOU'RE setting traps to kill me." Shioku snapped at him. Although it was faint Shioku could also hear some rumbling in the forest but he decided to ignore it. This guy was the priority.

"Well, You can't be too careful in these times. Are you looking for something or are you just here for the sights." Nitro was being very careful. One false move could end his life before he could even finish what he set out to do in the first place. He also started heard a faint sound, and quickly reset the trap. "We need to hide. Whatever's coming could be dangerous." Friend or foe, he couldn't just leave this shioku character.

[The D.M.]

Shioku laughed and then flashed a toothy smile. "So you can hear whatever that it too huh?" He still didnt quite trust this person. "Hmph whatever this thing is i can handle it MYSELF. If you wanna stick around and watch that's fine with me too." Shioku lowered himself to the ground in a fighting stance. Ready to pounce on whatever was coming. As he heard the entity get closer he emitted a low growl

"It's your funeral." Nitro started to walk away,but realized if this strange person died, he would never be able to forgive himself. But knowing this person was independant, he didn't want to act like a guardian angel, so instead, he waited from a tall tree in a fighting stance, silent but deadly, in case this guy needed help. "Put other lives before yourself at all times." As his master used to say.

Ooc: Shouldn't the descendant be named robotnik as well?

"I guess that I should make this decision myself. I will save you by destroying this machine!"

 

Riptide suddenly mustered all he had into one tail swipe and splashed the water with his tail. This created a sudden wave of water against the mechanical serpent. "Haha. Not bad riptide, not bad at all. Now let's see if you can save this girl now!" The mechanical serpent dove into the water. "I should make chase." Riptide dives into the water, searching for the girl. However, night fell and he needed to leave the water or he would get lost as well.

 

"I will try again tomorrow. Hopefully, I may find her and that mechanical serpent.

[Asriel Dreemurr]

The second that Shioku heard the "Entity" approaching, the Sonic Boom reached them. Breaking the silence like thunder cracking from lightning passing overhead. The Ferret and Hedgehog might have been able to hear the sound of high-speed footsteps, but before they would be able to identify the coming being, it was upon them. The being leapt high into the air, completely clearing the treetops and thusly revealing himself. The being was obviously a wolf, and he stood a massive seven feet tall. Despite his being silhouetted against the sun, the two Mobians beneath him could likely have been able to see the silvery fur lining his chest, underarms, the underside of his tail, and the backs of his legs. The rest of his fur was dark black and shone in the sun, indicating that he was of substantial age. He wore bandages tied around his forearms, his palms, and his ankles. He also wore a heavy chain about his neck and another around his waist. He hung in the air above them for only a short time before he curled over and spun, bringing his forward momentum to a complete stop and allowing him to fall to the ground. As he impacted the ground, feet first causing his legs to bend slightly at the knees to reduce the force of the impact on his body, the ground gave way beneath him and cracks formed a spider-web of sorts out in all directions from him. The ground immediately beneath him sank a full half-foot in a sort of small crater. He turned his gaze slowly from Shioku, to Nitro up in the tree. His yellow eyes shone brightly as he slowly stood up, pulling a simple wooden cane out of the longer fur upon his back. This he planted into the ground to help support himself. This being was one that some might call 'Old Man' though his real name, was Juggernaut.

"I ask you both, what in the world are you doing here? This forest is my territory."

His voice was rough with age and, quite honestly, he was slightly irritated that his work-out had been interrupted by the crashing plane. What he mostly wanted right now was answers.

[The D.M.]

"WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA YOU SON OF A-" Shioku then actually SAW him. "I am so scared i just forgot my insult..." Shioku regained his composure and stepped forward. When he did this he caught Juggernaut's local scent. "You...you're a native...i can tell. My name is Shioku and i am searching for the Master Emerald." Shioku stared into Juggernaut's eyes not showing any fear now. "If you don't trust me then feel free to catch my scent. I was BORN in these forests just like you." Shioku awaited the wolf's response. Whether it would be his leading to the Master...or a battle

Nitro, for the first time ever was in total awe. This beast was amazing! Nitro felt a wierd mix of emotions. Fear,shock,awe, desperation, among other things. "We can all share this forest right?" He said in a confident,yet hopeful tone. He knew when to pick a fight, and this wasen't one of those times. The wolf's presence reminded Nitro a lot of his master's. Big and frightening. The only thing missing was the friendliness. "We don't have to fight." Was Nitros first statement

[Asriel Dreemurr]

Juggernaut actually smiled, looking down at the young ferret before him. He already knew that the youngster had been born in these very forests. Despite his incorrect guess as to Juggernaut being native, the wolf didn't bother correcting him. He merely took a firm hold of the Ferret by the scruff of his neck and turned in the direction of Angel Island. It was then that he noticed the hedgehog walking up to him and turned his smile towards him, nodding slightly before returning his attention to the Ferret.

"If you're looking for the Master Emerald, then I'm your best bet. There is a slight problem though. It's on Angel Island."

The name of the place was well known enough that Juggernaut didn't think he would have to explain much. The Island was a Haven where the Echidna, Knuckles, had once watched over the Master Emerald. That was perhaps one of the few places still safe from the Mechanical Onslaught that had engulfed much of the world.

"Angel Island is nearby, but it -IS- levitating several hundred meters above the ground. Part of the reason the machines haven't reached it yet....well speak of the devil."

As he said this, a squad of Badniks emerged from the forest, surrounding the three of them. Juggernaut let a smile come to his lips as he calmly set the Ferret back down, turning to face the nearest of the Badniks head on. "You two stay back, I'll handle this."

The moment he had said this he was in the air, and immediately became the Badniks' target. However, the bullets from their various weaponry (Correct me if I'm wrong, 'cause I'm just guessing here.) Seemed unable to hit him as he spun and twisted about in the air. Spinning once forwards, he came falling towards the first of the Badniks. Once he was in close enough range, he brought his right foot down in an arc upon the robot, crushing it's head in with surprising ease and sending it collapsing to the ground as a pile of bent metal. He then drove his fist into the next nearest to his right, well through rather than into. He then picked the robotic body up and hurled it across the small clearing into the Badniks on the other side, causing it to explode and take out five of the others in the process. He then leapt into the air and drove his powerful legs into a nearby tree, propelling himself towards another Badnik. He then drove his feet into it's head and sent himself on to the next, repeating this process until he left only a single one of them left in their circular formation. He calmly looked it in it's robotic face, before driving his right knee -HARD- into the space between it's leg joints. His knee crushed in on the metal and the robot fell backwards to the ground, unable to support itself any longer. The wolf then calmly stepped forwards, only walking now and using his cane to support himself as he limped slightly on his right leg, and came to stand over the robot's head. He then lifted his cane into the air and drove it down, sending the tip of the simple wood completely through the metal due to the force behind it. He then calmly turned back around to face the two youngsters, looking each of them in the eye before turning once more in the direction of Angel Island and beginning to walk that direction, surprisingly slow after the speed he exhibited in his entrance and combat.

"If you want to get to the Master Emerald, then follow me."

[The D.M.]

"Hmph...i could've done that...if i was like...7 feet tall..." Shioku mumbled as he started to follow Juggernaut. Shioku couldnt help but ask Juggernaut now so he carefully began to ask. "Hey...what exactly are you doing in Mystic Ruins? I mean it's not my place to ask but i'm just curious." Shioku asked cocking his head to the side. He kept walking alongside with Juggernaut. Swatting at the occasional bug.

[Asriel Dreemurr]

Juggernaut calmly turned his gaze down to Shioku, the same smile upon his face. He chuckled quietly at the ferret's comment about his ability to do just as he had. I like this Kid. He turned his gaze back in the direction of their destination, the Floating Island just visible on the Horizon.

"The simple answer to your question is, I live here. Just a little ways in that direction."

As he said this, he pointed over his shoulder with his left thumb in the direction that he had come from. Perhaps the keen eye might see a small plume of smoke just barely rising over the trees. This plume marked the position of Juggernaut's dwelling. He put his hand back down by his side as he walked, even the slight amount of movement required by his muscles to keep walking was visible beneath his skin.

"By the way, my name's Juggernaut. Care to tell me yours?"

[The D.M.]

"Oh so you LIVE in here..ah well" Shioku yawned and then suddenly caught the gnat in between his paws. "Oh umm im Shioku by the way." Shioku felt comfotable around the wolf now. "And my momma sent me here to find the master emerald in order to find out what i'm supposed to do to stop Robotnik's army" Shioku smiled as he said this completley ignoring the fact that he just said he was going to RID the world of Robots completley.

"Woah! Wait up!" Nitro exclaimed, running after the strange duo. "I..I want to help." He would do anything to learn from this canine. So powerful, yet apparently well into his life. In a short description, he was amazing. Besides, maybe this "Juggernaut" could help fill the void inside him. He unsheathed his sword for a second to make sure everything was in order.
