EHERO Andrew
are you talking about the blue-eyes shining dragon effect? I have trouble with the effect too. It says, "that targets this card", not "specifically targets". There are cards that say "specifically" in the text, but not the dragon, so I say, even if you have more monster and Shining Dragon on the field and your opponent chains with Mirrior Force, Shining Dragon should negate it. Orochi
OMGDG... you can't be serious... if you don't know the difference between target and no-target... you're lost... quite simple, any card that says "select a..." or "destroy" does targets... cards like enemy controller, raigeki break, nobleman of crossout, zaborg the thunder monarch, raiza the storm monarch, old vindictive magician, sakuretsu armor, MST, book of moon, etc... does a target... on the other hand, cards that doesn't specificates an particular card does not target, cards like fissure, smashing ground, mirror force, widespread ruins, heavy storm, lightning vortex, hammer shot, card destruction, morphing jar, kuriboh, etc... does not target... so, BESD can be destroyed by smashing ground, but you can't destroy it with sakuretsu armor... got it now??
