[align=center]Well I toook a risk, and for the first time ever, made a vector tag. For a first at a new style, i think it came out decent. At least better than I thought it would look like. So what do you think?

No. It cant be to bright and not have enough lighting. The brightness is the lighting, and it is overpowered.

Flow is bad cuz it contradicts the flow of the render imo. Not really seein much depth. Kinda monotone imo. Not your best...

I see thanks. Yeah I agree on brightness, and monotone part. I have that problem as well as flow. But i'll get there. But its a try at a different style, so i expectd it.

Its kinda annoying how in showcase everyone just keeps repeating the same thing, over, and over, and over again. I get it's monotone. Not pointint at you Icy, but yeah. Noone has anything good to say when all the flaws have been pointed out. They just repeat whats been said 5 times already.

Sorry... XD I just wanted to point that out, as its immediately what I saw when I opened the thread. But a little tip. Don't use Simple Shapes for signatures like this, since that isn't the base of the focal itself, you're just doing a Maximization with Minimalism; that's not a good idea since the whole point with minimal effects is to achieve maximum appeal.

 

Also if you're gonna use an artificial light source like what you did (the radial gradient), make sure the rest isn't overcome by the same brightness and turn down the opacity (20-40 is perfect).

 

I could go on more... But without knowing the program, it's hard.

This isn't a vector tag. It is a hybrid of an Anime style render and Vector Brushing.

 

A higher rated vector tag uses the Vector Shaped Brushes in Conjunction with pentooling to create flow, depth, blending.

 

Also, you basically spammed the tag with brushing.

 

Your lighting is too bright and the overall tag is mono.

 

Your border is poorly done.

 

Keep in mind that a proper vector tag usually has 5 or less colors that complement the render. You showed no attempt at depth, and is fairly difficult to do as you need to use a vectored C4D also, or have an artful, masterful eye for perspective.
