"More iWeapons coming this way huh?" Justice asked as she felt herself off balance.

"Maybe we should call in a favor from the Army since those iWeapons are converging on our position, mam?" Justice asked Duchess. It was obvious she was implying an airstrike.

Duchess rushed over and leaned in close to Ranger's mike and earphone.

"Yes, Captain...Yes, I am British...Ranger's Japanese, but nationalities aren't important...We have one American with us at the moment, and she isn't exactly the highest-ranking member of the team...No, my organization isn't biased, you are!...I'm currently the one with the authority to extract you, and we have tons of iWeapons headed this way!...No, it isn't all my fault! The same guy that killed your Colonel just attacked us!...He's a vigilante that we've been trying to capture for months!...We HAVE tried everything!...Fine! YOU want to search the mountains of France for a guy who can channel lightning, be my guest!...We'll be right over. We just need to pick up a few things first."

Duchess motioned for Ranger to hang up, which she did.

"Now let's go find the others."

Scarlet began opening her eyes again. She was too weak to feel pain at the moment, but she felt she would have to do something to help the others out. Unfortunately for her she was unable to stand up, let alone fight.

"...I...Guess I have no choice..." Scarlet transformed slowly back inot her "Human" form. the now-Midori put her hands to her head and wiped some rubble from her hair. "I'm...sorry, Duchess...Ranger...I can't stay in my cloneblade form like this..."

The injured medic and the healthy medic helped Midori to the shuttle.

Duchess, once she was sure Midori was safe, turned to the rest of the team.

"Alright, girls. Time to go find Hime, Rina, and Xandi, then we'll go get the Captain and his platoon."

"Ranger, see if you can get the UNPF regional command center in Kigali on the horn. I'm gonna need some Avatars in the air to help us out."

joey sat down in his hide out and relaxed for a second then pulled off his shirt to clean his wounds. "damn duchess got me good this time. to bad that she wont be sticking around for much longer.' he said as he patched up his arm with some loose cloth. "you know i dont know what im gonna do when she's gone after all she's the only one whos ever realy treated me like human." joey sat back and thought about it for a minute. he had always noticed that when ever he fought duchess she didnt look at him as if he were a monster but as something worthy of her time. "well i guess theres nothing left to do today but drink to a job well done." joey pulled out a bottle of wine. with his teeth he poped the cap off and started to enjoy himself.

Rina opened her eyes. She saw nothing but Hime's face above hers, flustered and sweating. How...what happened? Why is Hime carrying me? And why does she look like she is panicked, like she's running from something? Deciding to voice her questions, Rina opened her mouth, and tried to speak...Except, instead of speaking, a hoarse cough came out, followed by a whole fit. After she had managed to stop coughing, Rina tried again.

 

"Hime?" Her voice sounded weak for some reason, as if she were sick, or injured. "What...what happened? Where am...are we?"

joey sat there as he drank he thought about the cloneblade girls. he had set them up in a place that they might not surivive in. "damn it why did God give us gilt." joey got up running out of his hid out and speading out his wings. he flew at high speeds back to where he had been no less then 20 minutes ago. "i sware if any of them dyed im gonna bring them back to life then kill them agian."

Hime looked down at her companion, who has slung over Hime's shoulder.

"We're fine. I'm glad you're awake, though. We've got a lot of iWeapons heading this way, and Xandi's also out of the picture."

She nudged her head in the direction of Xandi, who was over Hime's opposite shoulder.

"Hang on. We're almost there."

Hime stepped out of the alley they were just in to see several multicolored figures surrounding a heaping pile of iWeapon wreckage.

"Hey! Over here!"

"Oh, thank God!"

Duchess ran over to Hime and gave her a warm hug.

"I thought you three were gone..."

She quickly regained her composure, and, in a matter of minutes, brought Hime and Rina up to speed.

"Now, we need to get to the hotel. Did you find anything that might help us?"

"Well, I think I might've spotted an alley that led to what looked like a fancy building. That might be the hotel you're talking about."

Hime then put down her charges.

"Rina is fine, just a bit delirious. I just hope you have some wake-the-deads. Xandi is completely out. We'll need someone to carry her."

 

((Using more military sci-fi stuff that I came up with, "wake-the-dead", or Reviwake, is a powerful combat drug that remove all fatigue and sleepyness for 30-36 hours, as well as highten one's adrenaline to their peak. The nickname comes from the fact that the drug is supposedly powerful enough to revive the deceased.))

joey started to fly low to try and get a better look for the cloneblade girls. he didnt see them so he rose a bit and flew faster. as he did he noticed all the trashed iweopens around him."damn i'll give the girls this they make one heck of a mess." as he flew by he noticed a cloud of dust in the distiance. he headed over that way hoping it would be the girls. insted he ran into trouble. as he flew over the cloud bullits flew by him.

"god damn." suddly a bullit slamed into his right wing. he flew high trying to ingore the wound but it was slowing him down. badly.

Ranger, at the behest of Duchess, called up United Nations Peacekeeping Forces Regional Firebase Rusesabagina near Kigali, Rwanda.

"Rusesabagina, Rusesabagina come in, this is X-Ray Tango Delta calling for immediate fire mission, India Whiskeys danger close I say again India Whiskey's danger close, Broken Arrow Broken Arrow!"

She waited, and received a response. After that, she tapped on Duchess's shoulder.

"A squadron of Avatars, call sign 'Shiva Squadron', is on their way. ETA: 30 minutes."

"Understood."

Duchess gathered the team.

"We've got less than half an hour before some Avatars show up and blow the sh*t out of any iWeapons they can get a missile lock on. But Avatars, even with their Lotus multi-missiles and anti-missile lasers, only carry so much explosives."

"How about we make this easier for Shiva Squadron, huh? Let's go find any iWeapons we can, and lure them to the hotel. We can then evac through the sewer system, then watch the fireworks."

"Does that sound like a good plan?"

"Sounds good to me mam." Justice responded.

"Well Kitty Cat looks like you get some more play time eh?" Justice asked with a sly smile looking at Kitten.

'I may not be military but my family is and I certainly know what a "Broken Arrow" means. Holy hell is about to be rained down upon us.' Justice thought feeling a little nervous at the coming destruction.

Xandi heard a voice calling her and she opened her eyes and she saw nothing but darkness around her then out of know where she saw her parents and brother. They were trying to tell her something but she didn't understand them Xandi looked at them confused because they kept pointing at something but she looked at where they were pointing but she say nothing.

joey vered to the left getting out of the range of the iweopens. he could feel the blood comming out of his wing. a dizzy spell started comming over him. damn this is not good.

he started to lose altitude as he flew felling the dizzyness contuine to take control.

joey suddly lost concunces for s second when he regained it he had droped pretty low he was almost skimming the ground now. another dizzy spell hit him and he started slipping out of it agian.why the hell did i do this

"I think the plan is pretty solid, though now we're pressed for time."

Hime poked Xandi.

"Xandi...wake up...we gotta get moving..."

She then noticed a bottle of Reviwake nearby and snatched it up, giving Xandi and Rina a pill each.

joey woke up agian still feeling dizzy. he's wing had stoped bleeding but he now couldnt make his wings disipare. he stood up and listend around him. damn nothing where the hell did those girls go off to. he turned around to see a large cloud of dust heading his way.

"damn it the iweopens. im in no shape to fight or fly now what.' he started walking away from the cloud as fast as he could but it was only a matter of time before they caught up to him.

"Mam I agree with Hime I think if were going to get our plan going we need to get moving now, before we find heavy rain above our heads." Justice said feeling just a bit nervous about every second wasted talking when the team should be carrying out the plan.

'Not in the mood to have my tombstone say killed by friendly fire.' Justice thought. 'Sides I want to get some loving from my Kitty Cat before life comes to an abrupt end.' Justice suddenly gave a sad sigh and cuddled up Kitten.

Kitten nuzzled up against her new mistress, purring as she did so.

Ranger just looked on at the newly-minted couple in confusion.

"We have a little over 28 minutes left to complete our mission. We should probably get going."

Kitten agreed, and grabbed Justice's non-weaponized arm, running towards the alley Hime had come from.

Hime jumped in front of the couple and started running, leading the way.

"Come on, guys!" she hollered, avoiding a trash can.

 

Meanwhile, a young girl watched the Cloneblades make their way towards the hotel. She felt the energy radiating from them, and tried hard to resist transforming then and now and slaugthering them all.

She remembered that the nice people who helped her told her to only use let go if a Cloneblade touched her, and the Cloneblades weren't close enough, so she stayed out of sight, watching, waiting...

joey saw a small city in the distance and he could hear the radio static from the clone blade girls. he limped towords the city trying as hard as he could to stay concounis. as he got closer to the city he could make out a small run down hotel. as he limped towords the frount door he felt as if he was in for alot of trouble.

you know why am i even doing this they'll probley just leave me for dead or attack me when i show up. but for some reason i just need to help them. if i dont then i'll be no better then that damned roshori. thinking about it though this was probley a mistake anyway. they hate my guts and i cant realy blame them i mean i do mess with them alot but its only cause they actually acknowldge my existance unlike the rest of the world.

Rina accepted the pill from Hime. "Thanks," she muttered. Then, taking the drink offered to her, she gulped down the pill. Again, Rina noticed the supple features of Hime's body. After a few minutes, the CloneBlades began making their way to, apparently, a hotel. Maybe we're going there to recuperate and plan. This mission hasn't been going too well, now has it? I hope that after the mission, I can find some alone time with Hime. Then I can get to know her better, and maybe even... She shook her head. No! I can't think of those things...at least, not while I'm on a mission, and in my CloneBlade armor.

Hime noticed that Rina was now on her feet.

"Rina! Oh, thank God, you're alive!"

The elder Cloneblade ran over to her new disciple and wrapped her arms around the smaller woman.

"I was so worried!"

Then Hime did a very unexpected thing.

She slapped the younger Cloneblade on the cheek, almost knocking her to the ground.

"Don't you ever make me have to drag you through any battelfield ever again!"

Then Hime smiled malevolently.

"Now let's go find Xandi and give HER a piece of my mind!"

Rina fell down to the ground with a gasp, yet felt no anger. She simply wished that she could feel the same closeness as when she was being hugged. She stood, and walked over to Xandi. As far as she knew, Xandi was still unconscious. Rina leaned down, and slapped Xandi in the face. "Come, on...wake up. We need to get moving." I hope she wakes up quick. I want to hurry up, and get back to Hime. Rina's mind started to wander again, and to relieve herself, she slapped Xandi on the cheek again.
