After watching E3, I can say I was somewhat disappointed with the Zelda preview they showed.

-The graphics make it look like they planned on making a game that looks like Twilight Princess in gameplay and story, but using the poppy, more light-hearted theme of Windwaker. This, my friends, pisses me off. Twilight Princess was a darker-themed game. The use of the Adult Link was perfect for the plot of the game and the overall mood. Windwaker, on the other hand, has a graphical scheme that really should stay with the use of Toon Link or Kid Link. It just doesn't seem to look like Adult Link and his mood that is given off in some of the 3D games would look right in the setting.

-The graphics themselves look like they aren't creating a serious, intelligent, moody plot like Twilight Princess and Majora's Mask had. More like a plot of the Toon Link games, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but truly is much more of a let down to me. I have nothing against The Windwaker & The Phantom Hourglass, but Zelda games, in my opinion, are truly at their best when the setting is moody and the plot gives you that sense of impending doom. This worked very well with Majora's mask in particular, as the clock at the bottom of the screen gave you constant realization that the Moon was about to fall at the end of the three day time period. Twilight Princess' dark nature worked well. The Twili and the dark beings that were brought forth and introduced early on in the game made you feel like you were in for an actual emotional adventure where you would fight monsters and save people in a way that actually connected you fairly well with the game. I myself didn't get much of this feeling in Windwaker or Phantom Hourglass. The plot has me worried, friends.

-The enemies are something that we caught a glimpse of in the trailer, but I was, yet again, slightly disappointed. One of the things that made me happy with Twilight Princess was the fact that the enemies were more fearsome and seemed like they wanted to do harm to the characters. These enemies seem like they're weak. The ability to instill some sort of intimidation is a trait that I always liked in Zelda games. The wave of newer enemies that came with the transition to Gamecube was a good move on Nintendo's part, but only to a certain extent. While the enemies became fresher, they also seemed silly. Twilight Princess gave us the enemies that were new, but they more slightly more bold.

-Now this is where I stop complaining. Some good things that came from the trailer were the gameplay and hope for good dungeon designs that came with Windwaker, and we already have the gameplay. The Beetle item and the whip are new takes on the Boomerang and the Hookshot/Claw. The use of the 1:1 controls sounds amazing and looks like it'll open new doors for games and bring Nintendo to a lot of different new avenues.

-The best thing about Windwaker, in my opinion, was the dungeon design. Most of the dungeons were clever and set a new swing on the overall generically easy design that the old games had. While some of the old dungeons were greatly difficult*coughwatertemplecough*, most were easy to overcome. The Windwaker had challenging level design, and as this game looks like it takes greatly from Windwaker, I have high hopes for the dungeons.

If you get 0 FG' date=' are you kicked out?

[/quote']

Well seeing as how every member starts out with at least 10 FG, unless the member just started, then yes but if a member continues to break the rules, they will be kicked out no madder how many Force Gems they have

Understandable. Topic?

well, i guest that's sort of like the magic armor in Zelda Twilight Princess. less "Rupees" you have, the slower you move. the less FG you have, the closer you are to getting kicked out.
