Yu-Gi-Oh! The Broken Cycle [Co-Owned by Queen of Broken Hearts]

Disclaimer: This is based on an idea by Queen of Broken Hearts, and therefore this RP is Co-owned by her. I'm just here for the awesomeness.

 

After Yusei's victory over Godwin, the world was at peace. But Godwin's summon of the two Sun and Moon Dragons caused a disturbance in cosmos and a pair of pillars, one representing Inti and one of them representing Quilla, was summoned from the sky and landed in the middle of the Nazca Desert. On these pillars, names of a chosen few, yet unborn, was written, and the pillars remained untouched, unseen unknown for years. However, when these chosen people was born something good, or bad, happened. Similar to all these events, however, was that a mysterious person appeared and gave the parents of the child a card that was to be given to the child on it's 16th birthday. When finally all the chosen had been born, something very weird happened and the cycle of day was broken. Now, the sun could be seen as clearly at midnight as it could on the middle of the day, and the moon was also present at a corner of the sky at all time. The cards that was given to the children represented either Inti or Quilla, for it was written on the pillar that the Chosen of Inti would fight for light and justice while the Chosen of Quilla would fight for darkness and melancholy. None of these Chosen Ones knows that they are part of a bigger plot, but they are somehow driven by instinct to fight those of the opposite faction.

Name: Felicity Lolost

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Appearance: A tall redheaded girl with a small amount of freckles across her face. Her nose is smaller than most other girl's at her current age. Her eyes are a dark green color. Whenever aloud, she will put on a different outfit than the last that she had worn, and so there is no way of telling what she will wear next. No matter what, Felicity always wears a small necklace with a dark red heart gem at the end.

Biography: 2 hours after the birth of Felicity's birth, her mother started to suffer from exceedingly bad pains across her chest and stomach. This further lead to the death of Felicity's mother, as she had her heart fail from the stress of birthing Felicity. Only a few hours of her death, her father recieved a card from a mysterious man, the man claiming it was "to change everything around for Felicity". Without thinking, her father took it. A few moments passed, and then her father questioned how the man knew his new born daughter's name, one which even HE didn't know. No matter this ordeal, he still called the young girl Felicity. At her school, she was picked on and it made her a very bitter and lonely individual. When she finally turned 16, she received the card from her father and soon after, her father passed away from "unknown causes". With that, the people at her school started to pick on her even more, and Felicity just couldn't take it. Without another notice, Felicity left, heading for wherever the road took her. The only thing she took was food, water, clothes, her deck and her duel disk.

Personality: A very self dependant and lonely person, snapping at nearly anyone for just bothering to talk to her. However, if the person persists, she will try to be social with them and if they are nice to her, begin to trust them. Whenever confronted with a problem that seems impossible to do, Felicity will do it, just to try and prove to herself that the people who picked on her at school was wrong.

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Appearance: He's a tall, young man with long, blonde hair. He has shining blue eyes with his hair covering the right one. He often wears a black coat with black clothes underneath. He also has sapphire earings, and he is often seen "playing" with his hair.

Biography: His father wasn't there when he was born, but 1 hour after his birth Helio's father arrived with good news; he had became the new owner of Kaiba Corp and Helio's family became wealthy and rich. Not long after, a mysterious man appeared and gave Helio's parents a card, only saying: "It's m gift for Helio, give it to him when he's 16." Even though the boys parents ahd yet to give their child a name, they decided to name him Helio after what the man said. Helio grew up in his wealthy family and had a good life, untill he tured 16. At that day he was given the card and his life changed.

Personality: Good-hearted, but snobby and arrogant. Aso has a thing for shining things. He otenet's sad at ohers ba decisions, but he won't let anything keep him down.

Biography: Ryozei was Born in Japan, His Dad at a Board meeting at Kaibacorp. Strangly when Heilo's was Born. And thats when the Trouble Started, one how later his Dad was Forsed Out off Office as C.E.O of Kaibacorp. The mysterious Man then Appeared, Claming that "For Every Action in the Universe, theres a Equal and Opperset Reaction...". There Family were forsed into the Buzy Rat race of the working class, His father begining to Act violent to both his Mother and Him. Then, Aged 13 his mother killed herself by a Suside attack at were it all started; Kaibacorp.

 

The Police made his father a Fugative, Along with Ryozei. His dad and him ran away into Hiding, Swating from place to place were one day his Dad was Caught. Hes never seen or Heard his dad again, onlying having his Old Deck from his Father as a reminder. The only Execption to this Loss was a Letter from his Dad when it was his 16 Birthday, a Letter with the card from the Mysterious man all them years ago...

Personality: A Lonly and Unloved boy, he his a Lone Wolf which tends to work alone. Also he trys his Best and then Regrets as he turns to help, A thing very few do. Though if you do Break though his Lone wolf Personatly, he does reveal to people he is a Kind and gental person.

Name: Alan Blake

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Appearance: Tall, with a medium build, average length white hair (for an anime male) and dark blue eyes. He usually wears a plain black riding suit and boots. He's generally considered to be rather attractive by most standards. (for some reason I can't seem to find any more to say on his appearance)

Biography: On the day he was born, all of his grandparents were killed in various accidents. None of them ever got a chance to see him, and the only person to visit his parents that day was a figure who kept his face hidden and handed them a card, instructing them to give it to their son when he was 16.

Despite the bad start, by rights Alan should have been much happier than he was. His family was well off, and he lived a large house with servants on call constantly. He was also intelligent, and with private tutors was soon ahead of other children his age. However he often felt everything was too easy for him, and since his parents, who were often busy or away, and left him in the care of their staff, had decided to spoil him, he never really felt as though he faced any challenges, and he began to sink into depression. Although his parents never noticed, the people who took care of him did, and in an attempt to stimulate him introduced him to Duel Monsters.

This was perhaps the best thing they did for him. He found the game tested his mind, and facing strong opponents gave him a challenge he rarely faced in life. However when he stopped dueling his depression seemed to worsen. He began to enter tournaments, desperate to seek out new and stronger opponents and to keep the feeling of living he got from dueling.

As soon as he was able, he learnt to turbo duel, wanting to feel the excitement of speed as well as dueling. With the card from the stranger he received when he was 16, he began to make a name for himself as an up-and-coming champion, but he didn't really care. All that mattered was that he got to duel, and his opponents gave him a challenge. He left home with just his duel runner, and began to drift around, dueling wherever there was a chance.

Personality: When he's not dueling, he's quiet, and often seems to be rather detached from the world. He rarely shows any emotion, and usually has a neutral expression. When he's dueling, however, he often seems to come alive, and will enjoy himself even if he loses.

Bio: When Goku was born a strong tidal wave destroyed the makeshift hospital he was delivered in. He was the only one of the 400 some odd people who survived. Ever since he has had a small monkey like tail and fur. He has uncontrolable power and can easily kill but that all changed on his sixteenth birthday.

Personality: Very frendly and clingy

Name: Gaichus Galrien

Age: (16+) 19

Gender:Male

Appearance:Flaming red hair, and dark black eyes, as if his hair sucked all the color out of his eyes. Wears a green sweater at all times, even during riding duels.

Biography: His parents were extremely poor when he was born, only being able to stay in-hospital for one night. As the three left, a rather important looking man almost ran into them. Instead of getting angry, he laughed it off and gave the poor child his green sweater, right off his back. He then told the parents to bring the child to him in 10 years. So they did. They knew where and who he was because everyone did. This was Guy Zarus, the current R&D head of Industrial Illusions. So, young Gaichus was brought to Mr. Zarus' mansion as a live-in apprentice. His parents, while not as poor as before, wanted a still better life for their son, and so consented. Zarus had an eye for talent, obviously, as Gaichus picked up dueling and designing extremely quickly. He made friends with a local artist, and together designed cards that rivaled most of the department. He even designed his own deck. On his sixteenth birthday, his foster father gave him a special card, one that had its origins in a very strange place. An odd person had given it to Zarus, saying that the next child he would see would be the one to give this card to. Zarus was somehow compelled to do so. Regardless, the card won a special place in Gaichus' heart.

Personality:He's a friendly person, sometimes chatty, other times silent, always when he needs to be either. He's a brilliant strategist, planning out moves halfway through the duel on his first turn.

Name: Kainda

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: She stands at 4'11", and has straight, blonde waist-length hair with flame-red-and-orange highlights. Her eyes are dark sapphire blue, and her cheeks are naturally rather red. She wears a loose vibrant red knee-length dress with princess sleeves and some trimmings on the torso that make it look like a corset, and she has a pair of black leggings underneath, over which is a pair of brown hotpants (so she doesn't accidently reveal her knickers if she takes a stumble). She has a pair of heeled black ankle boots on her feet, and on her right wrist are multiple bracelets. On her neck is a collection of necklaces, all of which differ in length. In her hair are several ruby red bowtie-shaped ribbons tied so the front of her hair is seperated from her back, where a single ribbon is tied near the top of her head.

Biography: When Kainda was born, her heart had suddenly stopped working thirty minutes after her birth. As doctors rushed to save her, they had a sudden vision and what appeared to be the holographic form of Kainda's future Inti card appeared, and it stayed for a few seconds before it disappeared. Exactly at that moment when it disappeared, Kainda's heart started beating again, and she has since then lived a normal and healthy lifestyle. When she was 16, she recieved a mysterious letter; when she opened it, her Inti card fell out, and she recognised the image from the vision. Since then, Kaina has been keeping it closely by her side, as she knows she has a very important connection to it.

Personality: She is quite nice and friendly, but also vain, so even in danger she cares more about how she looks, so she is most likely to dodge out of the way and yell stuff like, "Oh my God! My hair!" However, she does have a brave side, though it does take some prodding before she will be brave, and usually when it comes out, she does find it a bit difficult to stop being brave, and will take some time to calm down completely.

Since at the time I started this app, their didn't seem to be enough on Inti's side I made one. And I must say this was and is the most indepth detailed rp application I have ever made. Name: Phaylin

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Appearance: He stands at 5' 8". He has piercing blue eyes that when he wants to look like the cut into your soul. His nose has always been just a tad too long for his taste, but refused to change it. His normal attire is wearing a t-shirt with design, brown work pants, and a tie with the works I work with technology in a random way. Sometimes he wears a special blue scarf around his neck he got as a gift. He loves his blue scarf. He doesn't wear the snazziest shoes, instead he finds runing shoes quite conferable. Also he wears a watch the can transform into a duel disk. He finds a duel disk bulky and this is light and more portable. He designed it himself and only has two. He plans on using this to meet with Helio

Biography: When he was born his dad was about to die in a car accident when suddenly he mysteriously teleported into the lobby of the hospital. A man can in and gave a card to him and told him to give it to Phaylin when he turned 16. He had a good life when he grew up, but always hated darkness. He was a genius as a kid and went through schooling quickly. He went to work with technology For some reason he came to the conclusion that the car crash was planned just so he would think it was good when his hadn't died. He never was mean, always fearing that he would be mean. The only time you could classify him as bad or rude was when dueling. He stayed away from dark monster for the most point. At age 16 his dad gave him the card. Now he was convinced that the mysterious man was behind it and that he would have to face against evil. He thought that the man just wanted to watch a game. He started to try and hunt down those that were evil. He assumed that the ones would also have a card from the mysterious man so he joined many tournaments. At age 18 and 276 days he became a pro, but hadn't found any of those he deemed as Evil_v2.0. He knew it was only a matter of time though. He heard about Helio, the sun of Kaiba Korp's CEO and watched him duel on a screen. When he had summoned he Revenent of midsummer's frost, he could tell that he was also on what he called 7_Good. (Those names are cheezy)

Personality: He is kind and good-natured. Since he fears being evil he does everything he can to be nice. He almost never is mean to anyone, so if he is mean to you he really means it. As stated above he changes a little during dueling. He loves technology and is always trying to build stuff. Evil if you are a part of what he calls Evil_v2.0, if you have a piece of new technology he could talk to you about it and not really care you are evil... as long as you don't betray him without facing him like a man. He likes bravery and will stand up for what he believes in. When he sets his mind to something he will stick with it.

Helio was sitting at his desk and was twirling his hair with his fingers. He was looking at the Midsummer Frost Revenant card that he was given on his 16th birthday. It had been his ace card ever since, and he priced it really high. Suddenly the phone rang and he answered.

"This is Helio Naoki, director of Kaiba Corporation." He said and a voice belonging to his secretary answered.

"You haven't forgotten about the meeting with Phaylin, right?" The secreatry answered.

"Of course I haven't." Helio said and smiled. In fact, he had forgotten, but he was happy that he had such a good secretary who took care of such things. "Uhm... When does he arrive again?"

"He should be here any moment now..."

"Thank you." Helio hung up and then took a last glance at Midsummer Frost Revenant before putting it away.

"What?" the young man cried as his monster was obliterated. He opponent, a tall thin man in a leather riding suit, looked at him.

 

"Useless," he muttered, and climbed onto a black duel runner parked behind him. Pulling on a helmet, he sped off without another word, leaving his opponent stunned as to what had happened. That guy had come out of nowhere, beaten him without any effort, and had now zoomed off. Just who was he?

 

Alan sighed as he accelerated onto the highway. Another weak duelist wasting his time. He'd barely even lost any life points in that one, and that kid thought he could be a champion? Pathetic. He weaved in and out of the building traffic, and rolled off onto a side street, weaving around the corners. He didn't care where he was going, he just rode on for the sake of it.

Ryozei walked out of a shop and started to open a Bar of chocolate and Bit a Chunk out of it. He walked along the Streets, Going from place to place with no Idea were he Wass going. Suddeny his Scarf got caught on The wire Fence, Choking him for a second before Falling over.

Phaylin was wearing his blue scarf today. It was a sky blue and he wanted to make a good impression. He was in the waiting area and walked to the desk clerk. He asked, "Is their any chance you can call Helio to tell him I am here."

"I'll will tell him right now." She replied. She picked up the phone and started dialing. Phaylin sat down and a chair close to the clerk.

Felicity was wandering aimlessly among the pavements of Neo Domino City, waiting to see where exactly her walking would take her. As she stopped for a moment to adjust her hair, a Duel Runner span around the corner and she turned quickly to see it, before blinking. "You'll stop... Or else you'll have a criminal record on your hands." With that, Felicity decided to take advantage of the situation and walked over to Duel Runner, before stopping in front of it. "Hope you didn't have any plans." With Felicity in the way, there was no way the Duel Runner was gonna move.

Alan snaked around another corner and came to a stop at a set of lights. There was nothing along the other streets, so it quickly changed, but before he could set off again a red-haired girl had come up and was standing directly in front of his runner. He looked her in the eye, with a look that seemed to be annoyance with a mix of boredom.

 

"Is there any reason you're in my way, or do you just want to be run over?" he asked. It wasn't as if he had anywhere to go, but for some reason he felt annoyed by this girl blocking his path.

"All right, I'll talk to you tomorrow. See ya."

Gaichus hung up. Sometimes talking to Rayan could get on his nerves. He's a phenomenal artist, no doubt, but gets obsessive at times. He made his way to Kaiba Corp, deck in hand, new cards in other, as the meeting was with KC's R&D for the duel disk system. The new cards were released next month, and they needed to hit the Duel Disk server before then. Besides, he was in and out of the KaibaCorp building that the staff trusted him (and some newbies even thought he worked there). He'd probably stop in and see Helio, as they had almost grown up together. Assuming he wasn't in a meeting, as CEOs are wont to do...

Phaylin was waiting for Helio. He wondered what would go wrong to day. Something always did. what would he say when he met Helio.

 

umm hi, did you know that your good and that there was a mystrious man who gave you a card for 16th birthday. Oh and we are supposed to be faceing evil

 

That won't work. What else can happen today. Maybe I'll finally find one of those Evil_v.2. Or another of the good side. He sighed.

"Yeah, there's a reason. I'm bored. Entertain me." Felicity replied with a smirk, seeing how the boy was bored from their eye gaze earlier. She giggled, before she walked around and tried to get onto the back of it. "I'll be following you. You won't mind, hopefully." Felicity laughed as she finished speaking, which was when she was fully on the Duel Runner. "And... Off we go?"

Alan sighed. "Get on," he told the girl. He may as well take her along - it wasn't as if he was doing anything else, and maybe it would get them off his back about meeting people - but he wasn't going to let her ride without a helmet. He lifted himself off the runner, before opening up the seat to get at the compartment beneath. He pulled out another helmet and handed it to her.

 

"Put this on," he told her bluntly, getting back on and revving up the engines.

 

"Ready? Hold on tight."
