Brushfire
Brought to you buy SAW Productions... Wrote by Sam Stapleton and Jayden Bailey
---- Spider-Man Interview “Whose the villain?”, “How many antagonists should we expect to see?”Sam: Two, overall.Jay: Electro and Tombstone. You’ll be surprised to see how we used them. “Will they cast an actual actor in the role of S-man? “Sam: Yes, we will.Jay: Of course. It’ll be announced after this interview, before the teaser! “No Spider-Sex scenes?”Sam: No. Well... kind of.Jay: Kind of. “Where does the film start?”Sam: Secret.Jay: Lips are sealed. “Will we see any heroes apart from Spiderman?”Sam: No.Jay: Not this early in the series. “What's your take on Spiderman?”Sam: He's a bit of a dark, angry character near the start after Ben's death, but lightens up as the film progressive. He has his jokes and light attitude.Jay: Pretty well what Sam said. Peter goes through a transformation. Spider-Man has always been the most relatable character. I mean, if you screwed up, would you be making jokes? No. You’d be angry. Peter learns to control his anger, and learns how to channel it. He gains his attitude everyone loves later in the film. “Will you make Spiderman a dark character following the success of The Dark Knight?”Sam: No.Jay: No. Spider-Man is not a dark character. He starts off a little grim, but lightens up. “Will this be modernized?”Sam: Eh... I guess you could say that. There are events in the film that you can relate to in modern-day society and we have webshooters.Jay: Mmm, webshooters. “Will this be like a fan-fic, or a retelling of the comics?”Sam: Umm... a bit of both, really. It's definitely Spider-Man without a doubt, but we have our own flow in there.Jay: We take the basis of the comics, and create our own universe and storylines. “Is Mary-Jane in the film?”Sam: No.Jay: What he said. “What was it like collaborating a piece?”Sam: Brilliant, amazing. This guy is by far the best Screenwriter I know, really leading the piece well. Understanding, no real rushing, great to work with. If I can, I look forward to working with him again.Jay: Exactly what Sam said. His dialog was brilliant. I definitely look forward to our Assassin film. “Are you going to release a sequel?”Sam: More than likely. That's all I'm saying for now.Jay: Maybe. “Do you feel your Spider-Man adaption is better than the original?”Sam: I'd like to think so, but that's down to the viewer to decide. "Who will be the love interest?"Jayden: Gwen Stacy. "Jayden, you said you're moving on with two new films. What are they?"Jayden: I'm working on a Superman reboot, and a zombie movie, loosely based off of Left 4 Dead. "And that's all the time we have. Next, Jayden and Sam will introduce the cast!" HERE WE GO, GUYS! This is who we have felt would do good in the positions. With some pictures taken from filming! Peter Parker/Spider-Man: Logan Lerman Gwen Stacy: Ellen Page Norman Osborn:James Marsters Harry Osborn: Jim Sturgess Tombstone/Lincoln: Michael Clarke Duncan Max Dillon/Electro Ben Affleck AND NOW, please enjoy the teaser! It's an attachment, and in PDF! Please read, and reply with your thoughts! SPIDERTEASER.pdf Click here to read the full draft!
