The Casters of the Earth[NOT STARTED/ACCEPTING]

NOTE: This RP does NOT take place with modern technology, or modern land terms, aside from the names of the oceans. The land formations are not the same either.

Long ago, before the time of Earth, there was a world called Masgia. This world was created from all the forms of magical powers: Shadow, Summoning, Holy, Arcane, Fire, Water, and Nature. These different forms of magic shaped the different landscapes. Nature would be forests, Arcane would be caves, Holy would be cities, Shadow would be dying forests and sometimes cities, and other such forms.

 

On this planet resided different types of Casters, people who could harness magical powers, which was just about everybody. There were Warlocks, Priests, Druids, Pyromancers, Frostmancers, and Alchemists. Summoning was more of a type of magic that was available to all Casters, only if you decided to put your time and energy into summons, and depending on who you were, different summons were available.

 

However, some used their power for rage and greed, and after a few thousand years, people realized that they could abuse their magical power, and began to do so. One man realized that if he could put so much time and energy into summoning, then he could use his summons to rule the world. Most preferred to not abandon their other magic for summoning, but this man realized it was a powerful idea.

 

He started as a child studying the art of summoning, and eventually used it to summon the greatest and most powerful Pyromancy Summon ever created, which was created by him, callead Thrae. He eventually used it to conquer the world, and everyone was enslaved to him.

 

However, 7 Casters began to study the art of sealing summons in secret, and created a spell that could seal any beast away, by saying the name of the beast backwards. They all shouted "Earth" in the presence of the beast, and sealed all of his summons away with the same spell. The seal that was created was known as planet Earth (The beast was so large the seal was a new planet outside of Masgia), and today they use the same customs and society as the planet of Masgia.

Warlocks - Users of Shadow magic. Uses curses and destructive spells often. Available summons are demons.

 

Priests- Users of Holy magic. Uses healing and enhancing spells often, but still use attack spells. Available summons are angels.

 

Alchemists - Users of Arcane magic. Uses attack and defensive spells often. Very basic and raw energy magic. Available summons are spirits.

 

Druids - Users of Nature magic. Uses poisoning and spells that work best long term, such as bindind the enemy with vines. Available summons are beasts.

 

Pyromancers - Users of Fire magic. Highly destructive, all offensive magic. Often cause burns. Available summons are Fire Elementals.

 

Frostmancers - Users of Water magic. Uses waves and ice and trap opponents. Available summons are Water Elementals.

[spoiler=Appearance] A young man with brown hair that reaches to about the bottom of his neck, and is somewhat shaggy. His eyes are a strange shade of purple, and wears a onyx jeweled necklace around his neck. He wears a black robe with two purple lines that make an X around the torso of the robe, and go all the way and connect in the back, making a X on the front and back, as well as two purple lines that come from the shoulders and go down the arms. He wears a hood on his head that he sometimes wears with a purple line going down the back and top of the hood.

 

[spoiler=Bio (Contains plot information)] Jack was born and raised in the village of Silvershire, a small village on the Eastern Coast of the country of Onyxis, south of the country of Jasperia and west of the Amethystic Kingdom. He realized he was a warlock at the age of 14, and was raised to use his shadow magic, and a few demonic summons, such as a Wraith Fiend. When he was 18, he began traveling the country for knowledge and treasure, braving caves and mystic ruins. He isn't that well known as an adventurer Caster, but is a hometown hero (No big accomplishment), and Silvershire was recently asked to pick one representative for an emergency world meeting, and he was elected. He quickly hurried home on his demon steed and decided to take a break there the last few months until the meeting on the border of Onyxis and Jasperia.

 

[spoiler=Personality] If there is anything Jack loves, is treasure. He enjoys treasure, adventure, and a good nap. He is a very resourceful person, as he has become in 4 long years. However, he hasn't interacted with people all that much in his adventuring, and has lost some social skill, so he has developed a secret trick: "Smile, Nod, and say it's interesting." He looks forward to what will be at the world meeting. He dislikes tedious things, paperwork, and has a strange fetish for apples.

 

Magical Weapon: A long staff with a large, purple stone with energy emiting from it. Around the orb, are two black, half circle blades on two different sides of the orb, in a vertical position, making it somewhat of a halberd.

Name: Isolde zur vi Rhinoldan

Home: The Capital City of the nation of Ariticel (If you want a name for the city, feel free to make you're own up. I'm saving my creativity for the character.)

Appearance: Isolde is a relatively tall, and rather attractive, young woman, with a medium build, and unusual waist length royal blue hair. Her skin is pale, looking almost white, and she has eyes of the exact shade of her hair. Her usual clothing consists of a completely white full-length dress, with a thick fur cloak of the same colour for travelling. She wears little in the way of jewellery, aside from a pale blue stone set into a silver necklace.

Bio: Isolde is a minor royal from the land of Ariticel, a kingdom far to the north of most others. As one of the elite, she was expected to master water magic from a young age, however she showed a talent that surprised even her tutors. Perhaps it was as a result of this talent that she found socialising with her peers difficult. She never really made any friends when young, and generally became distant to others. This did, oddly enough, make her an excellent envoy, since she remained focussed on her goals and didn't have friends at home that she would miss. Hence so it was that when a world meeting was called, far to the south, she was selected as a representative of the nation, despite her young age.

Personality: In a word, cold. Her personality almost seems to reflect that of the frequently snow-bound nation she comes from. She generally ignores other people, and makes few friends but often quite a few enemies. Rather than socialise, she prefers to focus on the mission at hand. As a result, she's not particularly liked by many people, although she's well respected in most places she visits due to her skills and appearance.

Appearance(4 sentences at least.): Jason is a tall, extremely handsome man. He has short brown hair, bright blue eyes, and a soft face. He has pale skin, although his skin is not so pale that he appears white. He usually wears long white robes, with a golden cross emblazoned on the front. When he is traveling, Jason wears a simple brown outfit, with a black cloak. Most of the time, he wears his hood pulled up.

Bio(Eh, I'll give you a break at 4 sentences.): Jason grew up in an upper class family. He went to a high-level school, receiving special education in all the types of magic. He learned all of them quickly, although he could barely manage many of them. When he turned 15, he discovered he had an affinity for priesthood. He spent the next four years of his life studying the healing and empowering arts. On his eighteenth birthday, his parents gave him a special staff, as a token of his completion of his childhood. He was then told to travel the lands, fulfilling God's promise, and healing other people.

Personality(5 sentences.): Not coming from Jason's vocation, he is a kind, friendly soul. He is one of those people who wishes he could have learned Nature magic, so as he could communicate with the beauty of the forest. But he is okay with what he has received, and in this has learned to live as an optimist, seeing the bright side of everything. Because he was such a good student in school, and from such a good family, many people resented him, teaching Jason to deal with harsh people in a cold, calculated way. He can be harsh when he has to, but would prefer over anything to make friends with everyone he could

Magical Weapon(optional): Special staff as eighteenth birthday gift (see bio). Has the power to amplify his magical abilities, and greater control them. It is white, made of an unidentifiable material, with golden orbs on each end. These orbs can be used as a weapon if needed.

Appearance(4 sentences at least.): Hirosuke wears a casual T-Shirt, which is usually hidden under his jacket. His jacket is midnight blue with a purple-ish tint and a design that consists of dark stars. Hirosuke's hair is jet black, with a bit of a red tint. His hair matches well with his personality. Hirosuke's eyes are a deep amber; which shine brightly when exposed to bright light. His face is usually a kind and gentle one.

Personality(5 sentences.): Hirosuke is usually a kind person. His face would make him look like he's always depressed, but this is not usually the case. Hirosuke is a quite person who usually likes to keep to himself. Because of people always seeing him alone, they often prefer to stay away from him; This doesn't hurt or anger Hirosuke though. Hirosuke is the type that knows when something isn't right, and isn't afraid to say anything about it. He is independent and doesn't usually enjoy working in teams. He doesn't speak much, but what he doesn't say in words, he makes up with his kind and passionate actions. When Hirosuke smiles, it's usually a kind, gentle, and soft smile. His words are reassuring words of hope. Hirosuke seems like the type to be a good speaker, but in truth, when he tries to present any kind of speech, he usually shudders and mutters alot. The strange part about this, is when he says something that comes purely from his heart, Hirosuke says it perfectly, without ever messing it up.
