Jason could barely hear what Alban said. "Light?" he said to himself. "Of course!" He ran back inside the archery range, and, after much searching, found a large floodlight. He ran back outside with it, but could not see the shadow. He looked frantically around, until he saw the large pool of black on the ground. He ran over to it, and pointed the lens of the floodlight right into its center. "Take this, mate!" He flicked the switch, and turned on the floodlight. Bright light leapt out of the lens, and a huge pool of light began to cover the shadows. He held it there, thinking I hope this works.

The shadows popped out of the ground, the cage disintegrating, but the girl becoming human again. "Just light like that won't stop me, a monster!" she cackled dashing off, "Master Aetos won't like this one bit. Three demigods.. Tsktsk. This is bad work. The Becker brats and now a son of Artemis." She dashed off muttering.

Talia looked around the place she was walking. Really, truly, she was walking with no purpose. She had told her parents that she was going to go study with some of her friends. Truthfully, she had no friends what-so-ever. All of the other kids she knew thought she was some kind of freak, and would make jokes about her behind her back. Of course, she would hear them, but she would ignore them, or give them the dagger eyes of death. Most of the time, when they got dagger eyes flung at them, thye would freak out, or get super scared or something like that. Talia clutched her skull-and-cross necklace that was hanging aorund her neck. It was the only thing her "father" had left behind for her. To remind her that he existed. Why he chose a skull-and-cross, Talia would never know.

Jason pulled out Lunum, and quickly fired off an arrow at the girl. Then he turned and moved over to Alban and the other kid. They were still lying on the ground. He reached down, grabbed Alban's collar, and pulled him up. "'Ere ya go, mate. How 'ya doin' after that bout?" He looked at the other kid. "So, who's that bloke? And who was the chick that I saved you two from?" Jason looked back to see if he could still see her, but she had vanished, as darkness vanishes in the day. Interesting.

"Koritskia, a shadow manipulator. Be careful. She cannot be destroyed by arrows or even swords. I tried before I got captured," he said, looking at the arrow in the ground behind where Koritskia had fled, "She just morphs, like the shadows. She's dangerous, but she muttered something about Master before she got out of earshot."

 

Meanwhile, the Koritskia had identified its true target, a girl, standing in the middle of an old playground. She changed her face to make her more pleasant looking and walked over to the girl. "Hi, I'm Kori, and I'm new to this town," Koritskia said, looking innocently at Talia.

Jason nodded. "Well, that makes a whole lot of sense...You know, mate, if I hadn't seen it before you told me, I woulda said ya didn't make a blink a sense." Jason turned his attention now to the other kid. He held out his hand to help him up. "G'day, mate. M'name's Jason Clawborne. Turns out I'm the son of the Greek Goddess, Artemis. So, who're you? You look a lot like that bloke over there." He pointed at Alban with his head. "You two wouldn't be brothers, now would'ja?"

"Yeah, we would," Ajax said, his shirt torn so you could see all of his arms. Cuts engulfed him just like with Alban. "So, you're Jason, son of Artemis. That's a good name, you know. Lucky, but unfortunately, we don't have the same namesake. I'm named after a hero killed in the Trojan War."

 

Ajax was never kind to people he just met, but Alban was the calmer of the two, so he took out a cantine and drank from it, his cuts sealing. "Nectar," Alban said, wiping his lips. "Any human who drank this would die on the spot. But it heals demigods."

Alec walked aimless around an area that was completely unknown to him. As he walked, he glanced around and then noticed a girl up ahead. He started walking towards her. Alec appoarched the people and then gave them a small and short wave

"Hey...Mind telling me what's going on here...? And Who are you guys...?" he asked, rubbing the back of his head and still looking around the place with curiosity.

Jason looked at the mixture. "Curious." He looked from Ajax to Alban. "There's a whole lot of stuff that I don't know about, isn't there, mates?" Jason thought about everything he had learned so far: about himself, about Hephaestus, about Greece, and Alban. He looked at his bow, and wondered. Who, if anyone, was the one before me to wield control over such an awesome weapon? Jason looked back, at Alban, at his celestial bronze weapon, and then over at Ajax.

"I'm Kori," Koritskia said, smiling falsely, "Who are you?" Honestly, Koritskia was surprised that Alec could see her, because she would be invisible to humans, so this person was obviously not just a normal mortal.

 

Alban looked at James. "Yeah, there's a lot. We're in the process of trying to find the trainer of heroes, Chiron, so we can learn how to stop these monsters, but I've got a feeling Chiron will be attracted to us, like the monsters are, but we've got no hope exactly."

 

"Yeah," Ajax said. "But Chiron hasn't shown up yet, and we've had to fight monsters since we found out we were demigods last year. But that isn't the reason were fighting. Our mother was kidnapped. She's gone."

[Dark Lightning]

Alec looked towards Kori and was able to see through her fake smile. He gave her a small smile and held out his hand, tilting his head and allowing his hair to bounce a bit

"I'm Hirosuke...Or Alec, for a nickname...." he said, smiling. His eyes were closed in fake amusement

"It's nice to meet you...But what about the others...?" he asked, glancing around from person to person. As far as Alec could tell, they were all strange.

((There are no other people. Koritskia dashed through the woods and found Talia, who was her real target.))

 

"Well, I'm new to this town. It's nice to know someone already," Koritskia said, looking at Alec. Something about his smile meant he knew that she wasn't as nice as she was saying. A small bit of her shadow crept toward Alec, but paused. He was a demigod after all. Master Aetos, what should I do?

 

"Talia is the target, not this demigod boy. Get rid of him by any means you see necessary. Talia is the key to my rising. A daughter of the Underworld..." the voice in Koritskia's head trailed off.

Parentage: (only 1 god/goddess parent) Father = Hades, Mother = Robin Drew

Biography: Much unknown about him, even to himself, mother got amnesia months after he was born, so he doesn't know who his father is. Expelled from 4 schools because of some kids (bullies)... missing. Wants to know who is father is, and is currently searching for him, unaware of the fact that his father is a god.

Personality: Many kids that go to school with him get creeped out by his powers, which he doesn't have much control over, therefore he doesn't have many friends. Calm, quiet, thinks before he acts. Pretty much the opposite as Hades, except the fire that burns in his eyes when he gets angry. Nice if you get to know him.
