Yugioh 5Ds: Brave New World (Accepting Via PM/ Need 1 More Dark Signer) [Started]

Arthur brought his runner back to the garage he was renting. It was in a good location, close to the stadium, which was why he'd chosen it. It was smaller than many of the others, and it had living space packed in as well, but that had actually been a plus point, since any hotel anything like as close would have been too expensive. He shut down the runner and disengaged the duel disk, before heading back out. He didn't intend to duel again, but he wouldn't mind a ground duel.

 

He headed back to the stadium, and entered the stands to see what was coming. A long running duel between two evenly matched decks that had begun before his was still ongoing on one of the ground fields, and on the other field two duelists were squaring up to start. Another turbo duel had already begun, with one of the duelists having seized an early advantage. He leaned back into his seat. It would be good to assess all of these duelists, since he could have to face any one of them. Obviously he wouldn't get a chance to see how they all dueled, but he might face someone he had already seen.

Appearance (Looks): 5'4' date=' Black hair, bird mark on left arm, green eyes like daggers, prefers to wear normal clothes, instead of the tradition dark signer hoods. Light skin with a medium tan.

Bio: Forgotten and disliked since birth, Ross was mad and frustrated at his family and everyone who picked on him. Visions of the future used to torment him as a child, but since then, they have gone away. Unlike most Dark Signers, Ross isn't taken over, he chose to join the dark signers to get back at those who opposed him. Ross loves to duel, but never got the chance as a kid. Now, he will fight a fierce battle against top contenders.

OOC: Ummm... Wats the Synchros Level? and also where's ur Earthbound Immortal. Also your blackwing is OP for many reasons. The unaffected by light monsters effects is fine, but the atk boost, the damage infliction, and the adding any card are all problems. IDC if you keep it that way, but you need an Earthbound Immortal, and you must be specific on the type of bird your mark is. Also, while ur synchro doesn't matter now, it will in the future cuuuuuuz....

 

New Rule: If anyone believes that a card, or cards, your opponent is using is OPed, you may PM me and name the card(s) and If i agree that it is too OPed, I will not allow anyone to use that card. However, do not spam me with stuff like this, only in OPed cards.

 

IC: Nick wandered around outside of the stadium where New Domino City's "Grand Tournament" would be held. He thought to himself this is the perfect place to find duelists. As soon as I find one, I'm going to challenge him to a duel! To his dismay, Nick couldn't seem to find anyone to duel. "Isn't there anyone to duel around here?!" Nick yelled.

I edited the mark, it's condor. The Synchro is Level 10. The number of stars under his name. I can get rid of the ATK boost though and make the damage inflict to 600. EDIT:

Well dark signers have to have Earthbound seeing as it's their best card and Earthbounds are really good. And sure you can use condor IF you make an original card for it. Cuz Earthbounds have to all be original, even if the mark exists.

Juan Looked around the arena, Looking for a sutable target to destroy. Finally he spotted someone, A rather young looking man, Not much older than himself. Time to torture an innocent soul, and make him bow to our power.

 

"Hey you, Draw your hand" Juan yelled at him. The person looked at him and grinned. Juan attached his duel disk and picked up his cards. The perfect hand, this duel wouldn't last long.

 

"If your challanging me, then there is something wrong with your head." The man responded back to him. He to readied his duel disk and drew his hand.

 

"If my head is so messed up, Then you should make the first move. After all, I need to see how it's done." Juan said sarcastically. The man took the insult to heart and made his first move. He drew and grinned.

 

"I play Polymerization and fuse Elemental Hero Sparkman and Elemetal Here BladeEdge to form Elemental Hero PlasmaVice. And now i throw down 2 face-downs and i end my turn." The man grinned, He had one hell of a beatstick on his first move. Lets see how long he can keep it on the field

Cosmos Drew a card from his deck.

"Yes! I Summon The Dragon Dwelling in the Cave in Defence Mode!"

A Blue Dragon appeared infront of Cosmos.

"Then Iam going to give my X-saber a Power Up! I synchro Summon X-saber UrBellum in Attack mode!"

A Warrior with 2 large blades appeared infront of Cosmos.

Cosmos grinned before placing 1 Face-down and then ending his turn.

"Your turn Leo."

Also, Yliaster members aren't revealing their identities either (and i took out office role for Yliaster cuz it was pointless). Tomorrow I will announce the starting of the prelim rounds, and when I do you can start with that. Until then, get the rest of your warm-ups, cuz match-ups will be made randomly using a number system which I will create.

"I activate Invasion Report, That lets me send 1 "Alien" Monster From my hand to the grave to Special Summon something that is one level higher. So, I send my Alien Overmind to the grave to special Summon Flying Saucer Muusik'i. And When Alien Overmind is in the Graveyard I can special Summon another Overmind." A Flying saucer and a Big 'Brain' appeared on Juan side of the field,

 

"And now i Summon Alien Ammonite, Allowing me to Special Summon my Overmind from the Graveyard. Now go syncro." Ammonite disappeared, revealing 3 balls of light they formed together with one of the Overminds and Muusik'i and formed a great SpaceCraft.

 

"Meet my mothership," all the guns on the ship pointed at him."Now i activate one of motherships abilities, and place A-counters on your monster, activating my overminds ability and taking your monster for my own. And now i activate my final card. Alien Final Assult, This duel is finnished." The ATK points of all the monsters doubled and attacked the man, Destroying him in one blazing attack. The duel was over.

"Ok Leo, but be warned, Iam getting my Strongest cards out."

Cosmos Drew a card from his deck.

"Tribute to the Doomed. Il keep you for later."

"X-saber Urbellum, Attack His Zombie!"

Urbellum drew both swords then sliced the Zombie in half.

A Zombie sitting down on a chair appeared on the field in Defence Mode.

A mummy appeared with bandages and covered the Lady, before destroying it.

Leo laughed before showing his Face-up trap card.

"Dust Torando, when you activate a Spell of trap i can activate one aswell. And i Choose Shrink!"

X-saber Urbellum's Atk points were halved.

A beautiful warrior with a deadly weopon appeared on the field.

She ran up to the Turtle slicing it down.

"Same effect again Cosmos. And i place RED-EYES ZOMBIE DRAGON!"

A Mist appeared and a loud roar followed.

Duelists that were near-by saw the duel.

"Hahaha! Well iam not gonna attack big bro."

Ross goes looking around for a duel. "Hmm... there seems to be quite a competition here. I should find myself a duel."

Sees a young duelist about 10 running around smiling and bragging to his friends about his recent win. "Fool." Ross said, and walked over to him. "Kid, would you like to duel me?" He asked with an expressionless face, but intimidating at the same time. The kids eyes wavered and he looked around. "OK," he said, grinning. "I can't be beat!"

Ross smiled. Overconfidence is a common mistake. And this kid was way overconfident. Time to put him in his place. Ross took out his duel disk.

His deck automatically got shuffled and he drew 5 cards. "I'll go first." Ross said, and drew a card.

Magical Citadel of Endymion, Bora, Kalut, Bottomless, Elphin, Allure of Darkness.

"I activate Magical Citadel of Endymion! Now whenever a Spell card is played, I get a Spell Counter on this card!" A city was created around the duelists. The kid looked around in confusion.

"Now, Allure of Darkness! I draw 2 cards," Ross drew 2 cards, Gale and Cauis the Shadow Monarch. "Now I remove from play a Dark monster in my hand." He removed Caius from play. "And my field spell gains a spell counter!"

"Next I summon Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind! In attack position!" A bird emerged from the card.

"Now with Bora the Spear's effect, I can special summon him! Also in attack position!" Another bird came alive from the card.

"I'll end my turn with a facedown!" (Bottomless)

The kid drew. "I summon, Luster Dragon in attack mode!" A beautiful dragon appeared.

"Not quite!" Ross replied. "I activate Bottomless Trap Hole!" His facedown card flipped up and a giant hole sucked Luster Dragon in. The kid gaped at the spot his monster has been. "I-I'll play a facedown. You're turn."

Ross drew his card, an Earthbound Immortal. "You're finished. I sacrifice my two Blackwings in order to sumon my Ultimate Beast and your doom! Come forth my mighty Ranru Yura!" The two birds faded and a huge dog came into view. "Attack!"

The kid cursed to himself "Now my facedown won't do me any good!"

The dog attacked, and within a few turns, the kid was down and out. His life points went down to 0.

"I draw Cosmos!"

Yes i drew Zombie World.

"I activate the Field Spell, Zombie World!"

The roof-top became a dark dead grave-yardull of human skulls.

"All monsters on the field and the graveyard are Zombie-types! And you cant tribute summon monsters unless they are zombies!"

Cosmos laughed;

"You really are getting better."

Leo smiled, "Thnaks bro."

"Then i summon Gernia in Defence Position! I end my turn."

This isnt gonna help. I need to destroy Zombie World, or try to Synchro summon out Road Warrior. He thought to himself before looking at his hand.

"I summon Getsu Fuhma in Attack Positon, and its effect is when it attacks a Fiend or Zombie it is destroyed instantly, but said i still loose life points if it has more Atk. Getsu Attack his Urbellum!"

Getsu drew her sword before slicing the X-saber. It was desroyed instantly. Leo then lost 1000 LP.

Ross watched the last turn of Cosmos's duel. Hmm... he thought, that guy looks good. And master told me to find signers... I need a better warmup than that pathetic kid I just beat...

"Hey! Guy that beat Leo! I challenge you to a duel!"

Tyson arose from his seat in the stadium and left. He walked out and saw many duelists dueling to warm up for the upcoming tournament. All of a sudden, Tyson heard a duelist from behind him challenge him. It was a somewhat tall woman wearing a long elegant dress.

 

"Fine then, if you are so eager to get burned then I will accept your challenge." Tyson said not to enthusiastically.

"Lets go, I summon Inferno Girl (atk:900 def: 1800) in defense position." a women with red wings appeared from nowhere.

"Now I will equip her with Flaming Wings, then I'll throw down a face-down and end my turn. Now since its the end of my turn Flaming Wings activate meaning you take damage equal to my Inferno Girl's level times 100." Fire flew from the Fairy's wings and hit the girl for 300 points of damage.

Women: 3700

"My turn!" said the lady as she drew a card.

"I summon Harpie Queen in attack position!" A women with wings attached to her arms appeared.

"Attack his Inferno Girl."

"Please, I activate Trick Eruption (Activate only when an opponent's monster declares an attack on a FIRE monster you control. The original ATK of the attacking monster is halved until the end of this turn and inflict 800 damage to your opponent.)"

Fire erupted from the ground and licked at the women and her monster. The women lost life points, and her monsters attack fell down to 950. The monster bounced off of Tyson's monster and inflicted more damage to his opponent.

"This is pathetic..." Tyson said with a sinister smile as he drew a card.

"Its my StandbY Phase, so now Inferno Girl inflicts 300 points of damage to you." The fairy-type monster shot forward a small fireball towards the lady. (Women: 1750)

"I summon Little Red Drago (atk: 1200 def: 0)." A red dragon tuner monsterdescended from the sky to the field.

"Now its time for a synchro summon!"

"Hold on, I activate Icarus Attack!" The Harpie Queen exploded in a gust of wind and destroyed Little Red Drago and Inferno Girl

"I summon Harpie Lady 1 in attack position (atk:1300=>1600 def: 1400). Next I will activate Harpie's Hunting Ground. So now all Winged-Beast gain 200 attack points and defense position

Yo everyone, srry but I had sum stuff to do earlier today, but I am ready to announce start of preliminary rounds. So, I am going to assign everyone a number, than randomly select numbers to pair everyone up. So, without further ado, here are the numbers:

IC: Nick Looked up at the big screen and saw that he was facing someone named "Ross Drew." Hmmm... I wonder wat kind of deck he uses? Nick thought to himself. Well, it doesn't matter cuz I'm winning no matter wat! Nick walked over to the waiting area where the contestants could watch the duel as long as they were still in the tournament, and got ready to watch the first duel.

An hour later he had left the duel center and when he got he looked at the screen. Huh I dueling Juan Gomez. Yaku walked around for awhile. He saw a candy store on his walk and was drawn in. Candy was Yaku's favourite treat. He remembers when he was 10 and he really wanted some candy, but his mom wouldn't let him. Well he finally got mom to accept, but he had to win a duel against her. Well he lost and never got candy ever since until he got a job. So he had alot of money. Yaku walked out of the store with a stash of candy that could last him awhile.

"Ah, the match lists are up," Arthur muttered as he left the stands. He wandered over and glanced at the screen.

 

"Montgomery Arthur...Montgomery Arthur...Montgomer- ah, there. So I'm up against a Xathin Zania - interesting name, at least. Well, I'm not on right now, at least, so I may as well watch the other duels."

 

He walked over to the competitor's waiting area and sat in a free seat. He gave a sigh and pulled out his deck, checking everything was still in place. He removed three cards and held them in his other hand.

 

Thank you for these, all of you. I'm here for everyone, not just me, and with these I may just get further that I could with my own strength.

The Harpie Lady slice away his life points and knocked them down to 2200, then she proceeded to end her turn. As he was about to draw, he noticed that he was facing a duelist by the name of Sula, and even more important, they were the first duel.

 

"Hmm, it seems that my presence is needed somewhere else so I'm gonna need to end this now." Tyce drew a card.

"I activate Netherworld Eruption and Special Summon to the field Little Red Drago." Fire erupted from the ground and when it was gone, a red dragon was in its place.

"Now I summon Burn Mage. Are you keeping up, because now I tune Little Red Drago (lv 3) with Combustion Commander (lv4) to synchro summon Inferno Tamer (lv 7, atk: 2600 def:1000). And when my Drago is used to Synchro Summon you take 500 points of damage (women: 1250). Now I will activates Inferno's effect and remove Inferno Girl from my graveyard to destroy your Harpie's Hunting Ground." The ram like creature formed a whip and slammed it on the ground setting fire to the field and deal you 300 points of damage (women: 950, harpie: 1600).

"Its over, attack her Harpie!" The ram like monster sprinted and bashed away the Harpie and the rest of the lady's life points.

 

Tyson walked back towards the stadium where the tournament would take place. He went inside and started to prepare himself for his upcoming duel. "I wonder who this Sula person is... no matter, as they will fall to my fiery dueling style." Tyson said to no one in particular.

Legolover, the idea is that you DONT know who the dark signers or Yliaster members are. You know that they are threats, but they have kept their identity a secret, so u DONT know.

OoC: Umm, my character is a dark signer. I thought that my character would know who the others of his own side were. BTW are the signers a secret as well.
