Alice bit her bottom lip. "But you must know about the prophecy!" She said. "If anyone found out I'd be as good as dead. With just Percy and Thalia Thats enough. And Poseidon wouldn't let Zeus live it down if he got killed but i've been in hiding for years. Thalia survived because she is the daughter of Zeus. I have nothing going for me." Alice looked down. "Just don't tell anyone. I was trying my hardest to keep it secret but you had to dig deeper."

'Well, if I was going to tell the others, I would have already. As far as anybody's concerned, you're Amphitrite, Poseidon's wife's demigod. That explains the ocean powers. And let me give you a few tips on lying. First of all, don't try to lie to a daughter of Apate. You'll never succeed, and then we'll know you're lying, and then we'll find out, and then there's a fifty-fifty chance we'll tell the world about it.' Marissa sat down cross-legged, leaning lightly on a tree. She glanced at Desiree. 'You know, I have a feeling that Tiaden would be happy to do what he calls 'controlling the prophecy' in this case. Tiaden truly is a horrible person. He'd be perfectly fine killing you, Percy, Thalia, anybody until it ended up to be somebody he liked who became the prophecy's hero.'

'Shut up.' Desiree said, her eyes closed. 'I don't care if you hate him, he's still my brother.'

Marissa stared at Desiree. 'That boy, your brother, would be perfectly willing to kill somebody he was questing with if the prophecy said one will die. Anything to save his own butt. He's a selfish jerk.'

'Well, still, I-' Desiree tried to explain for her brother's actions, but Marissa cut in.

'He's working for Damian.'

'That's... That's because, thanks to you, he thinks I hate him.'

OoC: Didn't Desiree run with the boys?

IC: Alice Nodded and stood up. She would be returning to the ocean since there was no point in staying. since she would not be helping with the quest, she was not needed. She walked away and towards the ocean, where she would wait, until this whole thing blew over which could be gods know how long.

Brian walked with Jetch and wondered why the girls hadn't caught up yet. HE looked back and noticed Alice walked away and then he swiped at tears he hadn't noticed were there. He looked forward again a the anthil and sort of just stood there in wait of the other two.

ooc: No

IC: Desiree ran up to Brian and Jecht, as Marissa followed Alice.

'You two go ahead. I don't think we'll be able to screen all four of us from the ants. But we can block you two from their perception, without going in on our own.' Desiree quickly said to the boys, hoping to be alone by the time that Nikki's poisoning began to affect her and Marissa. She noticed Brian's crestfallen expression. 'Look.' She put a hand on his shoulder. 'You and I both know how you feel about her. So go after her. She feels the same way, and she's gone, probably forever, if you back out now. So give her a reason to stay.' She turned to look at Marissa, giving Alice some parting words. 'Because if she goes, neither of you are happy.'

'Look, Alice, you aren't getting out of this that easily.' Marissa said, catching up to her. 'I-' She exhaled. 'You are needed here, okay? You'd be incredibly helpful to the group that's going to get the next Alkahest Items. If we had a Poseidon demigod last summer, Nikki wouldn't have lost her memory. You knows how helpful you'll be getting the Lance, Bow, and Scepter? Go to the Amphitheater. Find Nate, he's in charge of this quest. They're looking for somebody else. And... and give Brian a chance, will you? Even Dante knows how much he likes you, and Dante's the worst Aphrodite demigod anybody's ever seen. So, yeah. Talk to him.' She turned and walked away, leaving Alice to think on what she had said.

Alice looked down. "I know... I like him too, but the Prophecy." Before Marissa could connect her to "A love forgotten" She continued. "It says you and three, we have five all together, and we need to get this stuff together now before its too late for Nikki. We need to go, maybe we have to complete the second part of the prophecy first and defeat the giant, Damian, before we go into the anthill."

Brian took in the words. "But the prophecy." He said the same time Alice did. "She can't come with us, shes right. She needs to leave. And I should just forget the..." He paused as the prophecy ran through his mind. He choked back tears but they trinkled down and he rubbed his eyes and spun around Desiree at a lightning Quick speed and he ran towards the Ant-Hill.

"SH!T" Alice swore seeing him rush into the hole.

Desiree and Marissa closed her eyes in concentration as soon as Desiree saw what Brian was doing. Marissa muttered to Alice, 'Go. Screw the prophecy, just go. Dez and I'll hold the ants off. You go, now.'

Nikki slumped in her seat. Tiaden had went back upstairs, leaving Nikki to die. What's the use? she thought to herself, not realizing that apathy was just another symptom of Alkahest Poisoning. Her dwindling resolve strengthened. Nikki glanced down at her hand which had somehow ended up holding the small stone from her pocket. She knew what she had to do, but she didn't want to do it. Nikki finally mustered the willpower to save herself, despite the Poison seeping through her bloodstream, and she looked down at the stone, balanced on her hand right next to the tiny cut that was causing all of this. Nikki spat down onto the cut, and as soon as her saliva got close to the stone, it separated into all its different molecules, and reformed, minus all impurities. The pure water landed directly on Nikki's injury, and she immediately felt much better.

After Nikki had completely purified her injury, using the elemental stone she had pickpocketed from Jacob all those months ago, Nikki glanced around the room, finally able to think straight for the first time since she had entered it. Not perfect. They'll dispose of my body within days. Leave the corpse behind so they can torture the saviours who came too late. But if they don't come in a few days' time, they'll take care of the body. Nikki was alive, but she had other problems.

Now free from Nikki's poison, and completely aware of how, Desiree turned to look at the Ant Hill, and Marissa turned to Alice.

'Go. Dez can work this alone. I'm gone. Call yourself four. And for some last words, before I leave; I don't think you're the person in the prophecy. Think about it. Jecht thinks Nikki's dead. She's fine, but he thinks she's dead. Hard to remember something like that. Just because you try to forget something, doesn't mean it can't come back. So take a chance. You'll lose a lot more than hope if you give up.'

Alice nodded. With no hesitation a wave of snow crashed into her but she knew it was coming and hopped on top, it'd never catch Brian but she hopped she'd get there. She grabbed Desiree's arm and pulled her up before they surfed down toward the anthill the snow turning to water.

Brian crashed through the entrance. Unfortunately all the ants were not asleep but the ones that were, woke up as soon as Brian crashed through the entrance. His sword bennded and changed and he had the Blade in his hand. He spun around slashing five. He breathed out but only the armor fell. Then he was outnumbered.

Marissa sat cross-legged on the ground, and began focusing, hiding Brian from the myrmekes.

Desiree turned to Alice.

'Not yet. I'm staying back, hiding you. If I stay out of there, I should be able to keep you hidden from the ants. And, tell the others that they can't get rid of Nikki that easily.' She deftly jumped off the wave, landing lightly, and then running towards Marissa. After a brief discussion, Marissa turned and ran. Desiree glanced meaningfully at Alice.

'Good luck!' She called out, hoping that Alice could hear her. 'And may the Gods be with you!'

Alice nodded leaning forward and bending her knees with her arms behind her trying to increase her speed. The water slowly flipped up behind her until she was running. She slowed her pace as she reached the entrance and made sure as little surface area of water was there as possible. She walked into the hole and covered herself in water becoming again transparent and walking through trying to find Brian. He was surrounded and Alice crashed the water around him creating a blokade.

OoC: Strateigist, would you mind controlling the Myrmekes to let me fight easier without having to predict both sides of the fighting.

ooc: No problem.

IC: Marissa turned and began running back to the Ampitheater, realizing her anger had been caused by Nikki's poinoning. She had a quest to do. Desiree, on the other hand, stayed where she was, focusing intently on hiding Brian, and now Alice as well, from the horde of Myrmekes.

As the myrmekes attacked Brian, they slowly stopped aknowledging him, as Desiree's screen began to take effect. An Iris Message appeared from Marissa, following her as she raced through the forest.

'Hurry, Dez can't hold them off forever.' She managed to get out, before a tree branch hit the Iris Message and terminated it. Marissa swore to herself, but not because of the Iris Message. A huge myrmeke was in front of her, and it was headed to Camp Half-Blood. Damian's little pet. Marissa sent another Iris Message to Nate and the others who were on the quest.

'Get ready for a fight,' She said hurriedly, keeping the huge myrmeke in her sight. 'One of Damian's little pets is headed straight for you.'

THe water split and made a cover around the two and alice grabbed Brian's shoulder. "don't you ever do that agin." She said pulling him close and kissing him. Their lips would have lingered if Brian didn't make Alice sigh and the water crash down around them. She pulled back as steam billowed around them. Alice had trouble with steam and she tried to get some percipitation but it was no use they would have to try to keep going through without the help of water and hope THe illusion would hold. Brian grabbed Alice's hand and she was thankful and they stepped through the Ant-Hill with his sword in his other hand ready to slash. "shoot wheres JEtch?"

Desiree managed to hold off most of the ants, but a small few got through her barrier, and aprayed acid at them. Most of the times, they missed, but one Myrmeke got Brian in the leg with a glob of acid, and down he went.

Marissa ran up and began hacking and slashing at the huge Myrmeke, trying to get through its armor plating. But it was no use, the huge myrmeke was too strong.

Nikki focused hard, knowing that she needed to be able to do this. But since she was unable to draw strength from Desiree, Nikki had to use more of her ownMarissa's powers. She closed her eyes and focused, holding her right palm downwards.

It was difficult, but slowly, slowly, Nikki brought her stilletto knife into her hand from her pocket, regardless of the fact that she couldnn't reach her hand to get it. Nikki leaned back, exhausted, dizzy, and ecstatic. She had done it. She had defied gravity. Nikki had made heer dagger float up, out of her pocket, and into her hand. No imbecile Damian could stop her.

OoC: Delete your App. Im talking to u Via PM.

Brian buckled but Alice caught him a small wave washing the wound but stinging as well but not as bad as the acid. The sword glowed and the leg healed. "No way." brian said. There was a flurry of water and Nothing but exploded ant were left in the wake. Brian panted back to Alice's side sword in hand and blood dripping from it. He swung it around and the blood washed away. "You should go back Alice, Im invincible, you are not." She shook her head. "I think I can handle myself" She said as the water rose up around her killing the ants behind them and creating a wave as they headed further down the tunnel.

ooc: As Co-host, I vote denied. Artemis is a maiden, the never-missing arrows are overpowered, as is 2 1/2 hours of invicibility, and it's only accepting by PM.

IC: The Myrmekes backed away from Brian and Alice again, as Desiree's abilities kicked in again, and began ignoring them, getting back to dragging metal objects deeper into the Hill.

With difficulty, Nikki managed to cut the rope around her wrist, by holding the dagger by the hilt. When those bonds fell away, she got to work on the ropes around her left arm. Finally, with both arms free, she ran the blade along the edge of the rope tying her waist to the chair. The acidic centaur blood burned away the ropes, and Nikki stood up for the first time in a long time. And she definitely looked the worse for wear. Her face was streaked with dirt, there was still a large cut on the back of her left hand, but it had stopped poisoning her. Pain, she could handle. Her arms were covered with rope burns, and little cuts and scrapes where she had got herself with the knife, while cutting away the ropes, surrounded by red and raw skin. Both of her legs were numb, making her sway slightly, and she was exhausted from using so much of her magical powers. But she was alive. And she was free.

Zelkiax walked up to the boy. He could tell at once that the boy knew about Alkahest. Something about his eyes. There was a slight tinge of gold in them. Not enough to be normally noticeable, but Zelkiax had a thing about colour. He was more sensible to it than most people. Probably that came from having the Inverter's Gem.

'Hello. You wouldn't happen to know where I can find some Alkahest, do you?' He asked him, palms held outward, to show his lack of weapons.

OoC: thats the un edited version Strat hes already alking to me via pM and i gave him a neutral for posting on my thread. and what boy is Zeliax talking to?

IC: Brian slowed to a stop and the wave crashed into him. Alice apologized and the water flowed down to the ground as the ants started to walk away. There was a thin layer of water flowing through the anthill now and Alice felt safe for once. "Hurry up!" she hissed at Brian pulling him to his feet. She slipped her hand back into his free hand and they walked through looking for any sign of Pandora's box. So that they could get out of here and save Nikki, because they were sure she would be dead soon.

ooc: Oh. Jacob.

IC: Next step, getting out. Nikki closed her eyes and focused, waiting for blood to circulate back into her legs. A minute later, she was ready. Her knife drawn, Nikki slowly walked out of the room, slipping on her ring. I don't have enough energy to screen myself. She thought, slowly skulking through doorways, trying to get out. Fast.

Desiree managed to keep the screen up fairly well, until a myrmeke that was larger than the others apppeared in front of Alice and Brian. This huge ant was easily large enough to kill every other ant in the Hill.

'The Queen.' Desiree breathed, and she immediately tripled the strength of the force field around Brian and Alice. But it wasn't enough. The Queen still figured out where they were, and began spraying acid, which even burned the other ants, causing all of them to back up a considerable distance.

Nikki froze as she saw Zelkiax walking through a hallway towards her. Forgetting that she was invisible, Nikki ducked behind the doorway. Zelkiax didn't seem to notice. But as he walked past the doorway, he muttered, 'Go back the way I came. Down the stairs. Take a left, then two rights, another left, and straight ahead. Mace's where I'm going, Damian's two floors up, Titin and Scathe are one floor up, Tiaden and Shade are downstairs. Shade's asleep, regaining his energy for another possesion.'

Nikki stared at him in surprise, momentarily turning visible, dispite wearing her ring.

Zelkiax grimaced. 'You aren't the only one against Damian. We're all with you, even if I have to do what he says. Now go!'

Nikki turned and ran, her footsteps echoing in the empty hallway.

Jacob shook his head and scratched his neck. "I don't know what you mean." He said brushing past the guy.

Brian almost got hit in the face but he ducked and pulled Alice down with him into the few inches of water. It rose up a bit around them and Brian fumbled with his phone underwater and hit the buttons. It turned into the blade. He mouthed to Alice. "Get somewhere safe." She shook her head put up her fists as the water receded from Brian. She touched his face as if to bring him in for a kiss as she rolled back into some other ants. And a small wave flew up blocking acid. Brian exhaled from his mouth and swung the sword around his right side before grasping it with both hands and running toward the ant dodging shots and going for chinks in armor.

Nate and Diana just got Alban and Ajax into the Big House. They layed them in beds and gave the nectar and ambrosia. "There," Nate said, easing out a sigh of relief. Those demigods were heavy. "Now you guys stay here, and don't get into trouble." Nate let out a little laugh. They were asleep right when they got into the beds. They didn't hear what he had just said. "Oh well," Nate snickered. The two Apollo demigods went outside, and saw all the myrmekes out there. "Oh for the love of the gods!" Nate yelled. "Fine," he grumbled. Will his quest ever start? He took aim, and shot three down, two arrows each. He looked and saw his quiver was empty. "Sh*t!" Nate saw his guitar lying on the ground. Thats odd. I left you at the Ampitheater. He looked up in time to see the sun wink at him. Thanks Dad, He thought to himself. He picked up his guitar and began to play "Wouldn't it be Nice" by the Beach Boys. The myrmekes began to get confused. "I can't control them!" he yelled to the others. "But I can confuse them a little!"

Xaiklez turned to the Myrmekes and shot them all, along with Diana. Xaiklez' arrows vanished as soon as they hit the ground, but Diana had to retrieve hers.

'Hey, Nate.' Dante said, walking next to him. 'Don't worry, you know? Quests happen. We're just waiting for Marissa to come back.'

Nikki froze as soon as she reached the bottom of the steps. Titin and Scathe were waiting for her. She turned around, but Mace was already coming down the stairs. Trapped again. She thought, before realizing that Zelkiax had betrayed her. But how didn't I see it? Nikki didn't care. They would pay, for everything they've done. Nikki's eyes gleamed, not the golden shade of Alkahest, but... Rainbow. Every colour of the spectrum flashed through her eyes, and she drew her knife, which changed, before her eyes, to a long, wide blade. No, not a blade, the Blade. The Alkahest Sword appeared in her hands, and she swung it at Titin, who somehow managed to jump out of the way. The same happened with Scathe and Mace. Nikki, using a burst of strength, jumped over Scathe, before landing on her feet lightly in front of Damian, who was grinning maliciously.

'Nikki! Nikki, snap out of it! It's not real!' Marissa clutched her head in her hands, falling to her knees. 'Damian's using the Axe on you! Nikki, wake up! You aren't thinking straight!'

The queen myrmeke snapped at Brian's head, only just missing. An Iris message from Desiree appeared. 'Go deeper!' She had to shout to be heard over the queen's screeches. 'Deeper underground!'

'I think you do.' Zelkiax grabbed Jacob's shoulder. 'You know about Alkahest. Let me guess... the Axe? Is that it, son of Apate? Do you know about the Alkahest Axe, hidden underneath the River Lethe?'

Jacob swore and spun on his heel, the Alkahest blade appearing in his hand. "Back the **ck off." he said to the person grabbing his shoulder. "I don't have to tell you anything"

Brian slashed at the Mrymeke's face before grabbing Alice's hand and running deeper. Alice's feet were going the speed of Brian's his godly power flowing through their entwined hands. His hand was moving equally fast slashing at the ants as the got in their way.

Zelkiax raised an eyebrow, before drawing his own Widesword. 'Don't you? Because I know for a fact that an illusion won't hurt as much as this sword.' He grinned. 'But I honestly expected you to come quietly. I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here on behalf of Damian Shaadler. He's already got two Alkahest Items, and you'd be very helpful to him. But if you'd rather...' He turned and began walking away. 'Damian's got more persuasive methods than me.' He looked over his shoulder. 'Shade Khalarr. Remember that name, as soon as you realize that there's no choice but to help Damian.' He continued walking towards the building Damian was using as a base.

'Maybe I should have just killed you in the first place.' He mused, unconcerned about Nikki somehow holding the Alkahest Sword. 'Oh well. You've been out quite a while, you know that? In fact...' The Alkahest Lance turned visible in his hand, and the Crown appeared atop his head. His eyes were pure gold.

'I've had time to pick up some souveniers.' He said, his voice nearly unrecognizeable, changed by the exposure to such a large quantity of Alkahest. 'You can't survive. The Alkahest Items are mine. You have nothing. And mine have stronger powers than you ever will.' Damian vanished, appearing moments later behind Nikki. She turned to face him, and got knocked back by a pulse of energy. The Sword vanished from her hands, appearing instead in Damian's sheath. He grinned, as his breathing became heavy. Damian began to look... different. Mutated by the godly Items. The Axe became strapped to his back, and the Scepter appeared in his hand instead. The Bow was hanging over his shoulder. Damian had everything. But he didn't look like Damian anymore. He was a tall man with a thick build and horrible black eyes. Blacker than midnight. Blacker than Death. So dark and evil that you felt like you were dying when you saw them. Worse than the Gorgons. Damian, or what once was Damian, grinned, and chills wracked their way through Nikki's body. Nikki found herself unable to move, paralyzed with terror, as Damian advanced upon her, Alkahest armor appearing over his body. A golden Shield appeared strapped on his back. An Alkahest Platebody appeared over his chest, as a pair of Gauntlets appeared over his hands. Where he stepped, sizzling craters appeared in the ground, under his golden Alkahest boots.

'Damian doesn't have them! Nikki, wake up!' Marissa pleaded. 'It's not real! It's an illusion! He's showing you your fear! Nikki, snap out of it!'

OoC: No Mrymekes?

Jacob paused as the blade dispersed. "Wait what?" he called after Zelkiax. He began to walk after him. "What do you mean?" Jacob asked the more important question "and how'd you know it was an illusion?"

Brian had no idea where to begin looking. He had to Find the box so they could get out. He was sure Nikki would be dying by now and here they were wasting a large amount of time. Brian sighed before trudging on with Alice in tow.

Zelkiax grinned. They all came around in the end. 'Shall I write down a list?' He asked, not turning around, continuing onwards to Damian's building. 'I know for a fact that Damian has the Sword, not you, the Sword can't appear in your hands, and then there's your eyes. I'm good with colour. And I can tell that you've never so much as touched Alkahest.' He opened the door to the building.

'So are you in?' He asked, standing in the doorway. 'Or are you unwilling to destroy the gods? And I nearly forgot. Your sister, Nikki. She's near-death. And she's right inside.'

'Remember me, girl?' Damian's transformation was complete. Only it wasn't Damian. It was...

'You.' Nikki managed to breathe.

'That's right.' The daemon nodded. 'I nearly destroyed the gods once, and I'll do it again. My useless brother may have slowed me down, but I will not be so easy to get rid of as that.' He looked down at the Alkahest Items. 'I stacked three mountains atop one another to get to Olympus. I defeated the war god Ares with ease. Had it not been for that meddling Artemis, Hera herself would have been my queen. But now, now I will settle for nothing less than the death of all gods! Especially Lady Artemis.' He spoke it with such contempt, that Nikki had to remind herself that it was not an insult.

'Go to Tartarus.' Nikki spat out the worst curse she could think of.

'Shut up!' The Crown on his head flashed for a second, and Nikki fell unconcious.

'Nikki! I know you've been terrified since you had that dream way back then, but Otus is gone! It was just a nightmare! Wake up!' Marissa bit her lip, then she stood up, an internal fire in her eyes. She turned to look at the Myrmeke, then she threw her dagger with such force and deadly accuracy, that the Ant keeled over and exploded, pierced through the eye by the acidic knife. Marissa didn't bother to pick up her knife, but she stalked towards the Amphitheater. As she walked, she placed her thumb onto the watch Brian had given her all those months ago. Hecate, may you bless me with your fingerprint, that I may retrieve my blade. She gave her mother a silent prayer, and with a flash of light, the knife appeared back in her hand. Good.

Nikki woke up with a huge headache. She was lying on the ground inside the room she had been imprisoned in. Damian was smirking down at her.

'Have you realized yet that I'm unbeatable?' He asked with mock respect. 'If I can do that, what can't I?'

'O-Otus?' Nikki groaned, trying to sit up. 'No. That wasn't real.'

Damian shook his head. 'Dreams oftentimes show the future.'

Nikki gasped. 'Wh-what? Otus?'

'No.' Damian smiled. 'Not Otus. Read your history books. Otus wasn't wanting Hera for his queen.'

Nikki gasped. 'Ephialtes.'

Damian grinned. 'Ding ding. Give the lady a prize.' He reached his hand to her face.

Nikki spat at him, before jumping to her feet, her knife drawn.
