OoC:You guys are going over board controlling characters from the book, if you talked to Dionysis like that Brandon you'd be vaporized, Hed vaporize percy if he didnt like him. U would be killed by now. i think you guys should leave the gods alone now...

 

Brian slowed down when evryone was gathered. "We should get to L.A. ASAP. Titin could get the weapon at any moment and it'd be over for all of us!" Brian said waving his sword. "I packed the necessaries." He said pointing at yellow bags. "My dad gave us these he knows the importance of the weapons and he said something about the gods regreting it. There is money, ambrosa and nectar, and anything else we need. which i packed myself. So lets go." Brian turned on his heel and was suddenly facing a 19 foot hellhound. "Um yea." He said pointing his phone, putting the bags in storage and turning it into a sword in one swift move. "Lets get going." He said slashing at the hellhound and disintegrating it. "But how do we get there"

'I'll deal with that.' Nikki replied. Then she called out, and a mortal van, which would seat six passengers, drove up next to them, apparently driverless. 'Hop in.' Nikki said, and then she climbed into the car.

 

Dante was amazed at the fact that Nikki had a car, and mainly the fact that it had an invisible driver.

 

Titin saw the car before they saw him, and he hid behind a cabin. He didn't want them to hurt him. He wanted the oracle. So he went into the attic. 'What was the prophecy again? I forgot.' The oracle stayed silent. 'I said, What's the prophecy!?!'

The oracle of delphi was very selective of the information it gave. Titin was not part of the prophecy, therefore he does not get it.The hades cursed body said nothing.

 

Brian sat back and started to play a game on his phone while the car hit bump after bump on the long ride to LA. "Has anyone acually been to LA and know where we are going?

Brandon saw a large injured man walking into the Big House's front door from the window, so he looked around. Why would someone try and come in a house with one god and two half-bloods? Is he dense or something? Brandon said, watching as he walked past the doorway. Brandon stepped into the hallway and walked out behind him, the light of Ilio extinguishing as he stepped into the crowded attack.

 

Now, let's see, he shouldn't be too hard to find, Brandon said, looking around as he saw Titin shaking the Oracle of Delphi. The Oracle? Could this be the opponent Nikki had fought the night before I got here. The reason Dante was so injured?

[Luna Lovegood]

"Your insolence does not amuse me. I am Dionysus, God of Wine and Ecstasy, you would do well to praise me. I know what I am doing. Do not tempt me to vaporize you."

Harry's arm felt completely better, so he slipped out, avoiding his dad's anger. It was tough being Dionysus' son, and now he was angry. People were keeping secrets from him.

Brandon waited in the shadows looking at Titin with a curiosity. There was definitely something about this person that screamed that he was not going to be a good opponent without a weapon. Brandon looked around and the only thing around was a large bent blade, the looked like it had been hit on a rock.

 

There's no real weapon in here he can use, is there? It wouldn't be to hard to run him through right now... Brandon thought tightening his grip on Ilitheia.

Jecht was watching out the window. He wasn't a fan of being cooped up in a small little car with four other people. "I haven't but I think we should stop by Hollywood and do a little sight seeing." He paused a moment, looking out the window but then added quickly "You know after getting these weapons and killing some monsters." His expression brightened as he rummaged through his quickly made pack and pulled out a packet of cards. Some were black but others were a glistening gold. It looked like 50 cards or so and he started shuffling them in his hands. Each one had a drawing on it and some writing in Ancient Greek. He would occansionally flip one over and admire it before shuffling the cards again then repaeting the process.

'Yeah, okay.' Dante agreed happily.

 

'Stupid garbage oracle.' Titin started muttering, cursing under his breath. Then he turned and saw Brandon. His eyes narrowed, and he looked around for a weapon.

 

Then, a figure stepped behind Brandon, and shoved him to the floor. Damian drew his stygian iron javelin. He pointed the tip of the javelin at Brandon's throat, and said, in a gruff and evil voice, 'Any last words, demigod?' He looked a little bit like Ares, only much darker and scarier. His shirt was reverse printed to read, grey on black, "Are you dead yet?"

 

Nikki was asleep, slumped on Jecht's shoulder, breathing peacefully.

Jecht looked at Nikki and smiled then a thought ocourred to him and he looked at the deck of black and golden cards. He murmered Nikki's name and then some words in Ancient Greek Jecht suffled the cards then flipped over the top one. It was golden with the symbol of an owl on it. The symbol of Athena and under the symbol was the word "wisdom". He repeated the process again using Nikki's name and flipped over a black card. On it was a forked road and under it was the word "indecsion". He glance at Nikki for a moment and returned to his cards.

Harry was pretty bored after the eventful morning. He decided to take out his sword and practice on the dummies. He returned to the cabin where the cleaning harpies had, thankfully, cleaned the beds. He reached underneath his bed and drew out a blade. It was about a foot long, shiny and 2 inches wide. It gleamed in the light of the sun. "Time to have some fun." he smiled. He walked down to the sword arena. The dummies where ready. He faced one, and slashed it from the lower left to the upper right.

Brian was looking out the window admiring New Jersey as they sped through the Oraton Parkway. He was intrigued by the invisible driver. "Where did we get this guy?" He said calling out from the front seat. He pulled out his phone and snapped pictures of the landscape. he was always so busy growing up in New York and he had never really gone around much. He occupied himself with games and pictures as well as the internet. He assumed the phone had cloaking from monsters since they hadn't been getting more trouble than a hellhound raming into the van now and then. But nikki must of had an aoutomatic defence when she slept because the monsters fell out and droped asleep getting hit by a car. The mortals must've thought it was like a tire or a deer.

The driver was silent. Her invisible eyes scanned the surrounding countryside, and she activated the defensive shield that was built into her car, preventing monsters from attacking them. Nikki smiled, as she negotiated a turn. Everything was working out as she had planned.

 

Damian grinned evilly. 'Leave now, Titin. Or I'll kill you, too.' Titin left the attic, and went far away from camp half-blood. Damian turned back to Brandon. 'Give me one good reason why I shouldn't run this spear through your neck right now and save Luke a lot of trouble.'

 

Dante was getting bored, sitting in a car for so many hours. 'I vote we stop and get something to eat.' He announced, causing Nikki to groan in her sleep and stir slightly.

[Theseus]

"Because," Brandon said, hopping to his feet. "You can't fight blind, can you?" Ilio, his necklace, with a single touch, lit as bright as the sunlight outside, making the stuffy room hot and almost unbearable, but Brandon had his eyes closed when he did it, but for Damian, it was like staring directly into the sun.

 

He pulled out Ilitheia, tensing for attack. "Let's see how you fight without eyesight," he said, touching Ilia again; suddenly, the room went to its usual semi-darkness.

[Corvidae]

Damian stepped back. Then, his eyes closed, he said, 'Pathetic. I don't need sight to kill you.' Then he replaced his javelin, and drew out... A machine gun!?! 'You aren't going to survive this. No offense, Brandon. But I don't consider inability to see what I'm killing a good enough reason to not kill it. Any good reasons I shouldn't kill you?'

'You can't kill us both.' Diana walked into the room, a sword drawn.

'Oh yeah?' Damian didn't move. 'Watch me.'

And then he opened fire, celestial bronze bullets destroying everything in the attic, including three campers.

Brian agreed. He looked at the driver's seat. "How do we stop this thing?" He said to noone in particular. He pushed the air and brought his hand back in suprise when he realized someone was there. "Um, An invisible camper?" He asked as the car turned into a rest stop. He looked back at Nikki, Dante,and Jetch. "You guys ready to eat." Brian yawned and stretched to relax his muscles and he realized how tired he was.

ooc: Yeah! I did the first post on page 13! Plus, like three people die on my post, so it's perfect! 13 is considered an unlucky number.

IC: 'Probably.' Dante agreed.

 

Nikki's eyes narrowed as Brian realized that there was an invisible driver. She slowly drew her dagger, still invisible, as the van stopped. Let it go. She heard through her empathy link. I know you're the violent one, but just let it... Doh! And then, far away, Nikki, invisibly in the attic with Damian, Diana, and Brandon, was hit by one of Damian's stray bullets. Her dead body crumpled to the ground, and her spirit was whisked to the underworld.

 

Nikki woke suddenly, sat up, and shouted, 'No!' as she felt the bullet pierce her heart.

 

Once Damian had obliterated everything in the attic, other than him, he put away his gun, and drew a widesword. He used it to smash through the window, and jumped through. He landed on his feet, and he ran.

 

Nikki, Diana, and Brandon found themselves in Charon's room, filled with lost souls. 'Hello.' He said, smiling pleasantly. 'Welcome to death.'

OoC: Can u stop doing that because someone will see that at the wrong moment, PM someone delete it now im not explaining this time...And did all the nikkis die?

 

IC: Brian rushed into the resturant before he heard anything. He loved fast food, it was just like him,fast. He ordered his food and waited wondering where everyone else was. He loved bacon. His phone beeped but he ignored it the food taking all of his attention. It started ringing and vibrating like it was extremely urgent. He pulled it out of his pocket and stared at it. Underworld It read. Brian took a deep breath and answered the phone.

[Theseus]

"Charon sure is awfully happy," Brandon grimaced. "Death is such a tragic thing, and he took three half-bloods at once. I guess I wouldn't last forever, but hopefully I'll be judged to the Elysian Fields, and not the Fields of Punishment."

 

Brandon wasn't happy about dying, so he sat back down, pulling out his golden drachma which he always carried, in case he needed to contact something. "I guess I won't need to Iris-Message in the Underworld, will I?"

 

Amethyst stared at Brandon's body, sitting on the funeral pyre in tears, as everyone else felt horrible too because of her aura. "Why would someone do that? How did someone kill them in camp?"

Jecht almost hit his head on the roof of the car when Nikki screamed. "Nikki! What? Who is it?! What's wrong? Was it a dream?" He asked frantically because nobody he knew just woke up screaming. He was looking at the horrified look on her face. He glanced down at the cards and thought Don't let me down. He murmered something and then Nikki's name. He flipped over the top card. It was completely black and it had skull on it. Under it was the word in all capital letters "DEATH". What?! She's not dead. Could she die soon. Or are you just messing with me? He thought because sometimes the cards wouldn't work and didn't make sense.

[Theseus]

Brandon stepped into the elevator, and stood in the line to be sent to be judged, looking around. He wouldn't be in the mortal world, again. Amethyst was probably worried sick about him, and he would never be able to go back to her again. "Death sucks," he said, looking at the rest of the line to be judged. "Father Apollo, let the truth shine in my eyes, so that I may pass on peacefully."

 

"'Ay there," a man waved his postal worker suit shadowed in the darkness of the Underworld.

 

What is Hermes doing down here? Brandon thought to himself.

 

"You're that son of Apollo... Brandon, right?" Hermes asked, and is if reading Brandon's mind, "I'm the guide of the Underworld, as one of my many tasks. Sometimes, I think those other Olympians just get lazy."

 

Hermes caduceus mobile started ringing, so he simply walked out of the Underworld, flying over the Styx.

ooc: No. Only one.

IC: Damian and Titin had left, but Damian had left behind a mark of his actions. Two stygian iron spearhead had been left in the attic, lying in Brandon's and Diana's corpses, impaled through their hearts. 'Get moving, Titin.' Damian told Titin after they had left camp. 'Just because you're my uncle doesn't mean I won't kill you.'

 

Nikki began to sob. 'N-no. Des-Desir - No!' She wailed in despair and horror, and burst into tears. The driver grunted as if hit by a physical blow, and slumped into her seat, unconcious.

 

Nikki, down in the underworld, was trying to communicate with the other Nikkis. Can you hear me? But the empathy link was useless in the Underworld. I'm... Dead? She thought. But, no. I'm not dead, Desiree is. Or am I Desiree? No, I'm Nikki. In a way. So am I dead or not? I'm definitely dead, but is Nikki? Or Marissa? Or did I all die? Or did she all die? Or just part of us? My part. The empathy link isn't working, so Desiree is definitely dead. Does this mean I'll turn back into Nikki? Or will I stay down here forever? But what happens if Nikki and Marissa come here as well? Will we all reform? Or will Nikki just remain in three forms forever, deep here in the underworld? Or maybe- She stopped. Nikki, Diana, and Brandon had arrived in the Underworld.

[Theseus]

Brandon rubbed his arms, looking around. There was a cold breeze in the extensive Underworld, and he was wishing he decided to die with a jacket on. "Nikki," Brandon said, looking at her strangely. "You look, not like the rest of us. The rest of us are becoming sallow and more transparent. You still look alive."

 

Brandon sat down, waiting in the line to be judged. "There's no point in sitting around for eternity in those infernal fields of Asphodel. I'm hoping for Elysium."

 

Amethyst looked at the burning pyre, the body of her first friend burning in the flames, a look of worry on his face, his eyes shut. There had been a Stygian iron javelin in Brandon's chest, and celestial bronze bullets in the room, where Nikki and Diana were also found.

 

"I'll miss you," she whispered, turning and walking off to the Hermes cabin where the only companion for her was silence, because the rest of the camp was mourning the lost campers. "There's no point anymore."

 

Amethyst looked around, making sure no one was around, and started crying.

Brian slid to a hault in front of the car and opened the sliding door looking in. "Is everyone okay?" He said looking at the drivers seat, still nothing and then at Nikki who was next to Jetch who still had his worried expression. He looked at Dante who was in best shape, (well the best shape you could be after you broke your neck and then had it fixed by a god. "So what happened here, why was there screaming?" Brian asked looking worriedly at Nikki.

Jecht didn't know what was happening. "Nikki! Nikki! What is it?" He looked around for some kind of advice but knew he wouldn't get any answers when she was cry so so he just out his arm around her and held her. "Its okay. Everything's okay right?" He thought about the Death card again. What's going on? He thought but just sat with Nikki trying to comfort her. He heard the invisible driver grunt. What really is going on? Jecht sarted to rock her like a baby. "Nikki? What's going on?" He asked mostly to himself. He then for the first time noticed Brain. "I don't know. She just woke up screaming something about Desire or something like that and burst into tears." The Death card looked like it was staring at him with its empty eye sockets. "I really think someone died. I just don't know who."

[Theseus]

Brandon was now next in line to be judged, and he looked up at the cavernous roof, which stalactites hung down from, and he walked into the large chamber, where three people sat at the top of a high bench. King Minos, commissioner of the Labyrinth and father of the Minotaur, Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States, and another third figure that Brandon couldn't place.

 

"You are Brandon Faye, son of Apollo, correct?" Jefferson said, looking at his clipboard.

 

"Yes, I am," Brandon said, looking a little nervous, but so much was expected.
