ALOHA! And welcome to a new world of Yugioh. The story takes place at a place called Makahiki Academy, located on the Island of 'Oahu. It's a new academy, new surroundings and new people! Well, I haven't quite started yet, but when I do you'll be surprised! Some of you maybe wondering, why do a Fan-Fic of a Hawaiian Duel Academy right? Well, I live in Hawaii, and I think it would be interesting to see if people would enjoy this kind of story. Also, since some hawaiian people have strong accents in this story, I will have translations below each sentence with Pidgin', or Hawaiian Slang. NOTE: Just because it's a Hawaiian Story doesn't mean that all the characters use Hawaiian cards or are Hawaiian themselves.

Alaka'i is a young man who began dueling after his parent's grounded him from surfing. After a shooting took place at his school, his parent's decided to send him to a private school. Since he enjoyed dueling, he suggested he go to the Makahiki Academy.
