There are numerous spots in that tutorial where masking, clipping and bg flipping would have been much much better. Not to mention, most C4D's are better left whole than filtered unless you're doing it for texture/depth effect.

 

Sorry, you followed a bad tutorial.

You didnt create much depth, just a c4d in the BG, then one in the FG, which is a very novice way to create that, and you need to avoid it. Im not really seeing much flow except to where the c4d goes, but there is no flow that is compatible with your focal. Plus the focal doesnt really blend, its just there. The lighting is just a very distracting ball of with. So, yeah, it is definitely not your best.

That being said, Yes I agree Bad tut. Very c4d spammed, its hard to find good video tuts imo. Anyway, even though this is the worst shyt ive ever seen this isnt taht good, knowing you, there will be a great come back, so loooking forward to your next one ;O
