Banning Appeal

Recommended Posts

How this works:

Someone gets banned/permabanned.

They want to appeal their ban.

When they log on, they can only go to the banning appeal section. They create a thread. This thread has be good, and official. Once they create this thread they cannot view it, or post in it.

The thread has to be approved by a mod.

Once the mod approves, the thread is shown to the public.

The public can then testify, and vote if they should unbanned, or still banned.

The majority wins.

Case closed (thread closed, and deleted).

If they're banned, then they can just wait it out so long as its less than a month. If it's a month, then maybe they can appeal. If they're perma'd they most likely deserve it, and I know a couple members can get on with their life regardless. Besides, if they're banned, they how would they be able to post a topic? A "Ban Appeal Section" is unnecessary. If they really want to appeal their ban, then they could just e-mail a mod.
