Abstract [Atrocity]
How do you win?!
Belgian Blue
SSSSSLAP ! Pardon the rudeness, but you don't play much do you ? Would you like some help with the deck ? There are a few good ways to build water decks, I can suggest a few ideas. None of them involve 50 card decks with nothing but one-ofs though. What's your playstyle ? aggressive ? Controlling ? Belgian Blue
Well for starters it has zero consistency. You play a deck that is 10 cards heavy and only single copies of each card, so you'll never have any idea of what you can expect to draw. Secondly it lacks a focus or strategy. You are just dropping random cards and hoping to do something. Given that this deck has no strategy, it has no way to win but to hope to deal enough damage through battle. In that spirit there is no reason not to include these cards : Heavy StormMystical Space TyphoonBrain ControlPremature BurialTorrential TributeMirror ForceCall of the Haunted Next you want a water deck. To build a coherent water deck, you'll want to select a few monsters that support a given strategy and run multiples of them, so you know that no matter what you draw to start off with, it will get you on your way to a decent strategy. As a few examples, you could run an ALO/beatdown build : 3x Giga gagagigo2x terrorking Salmon3x Warrior of Atlantis2x cyber Dragon2x Aqua Spirit2x Abyss Soldier3x A legendary ocean3x Spiritual Water Art - Aoi2x Final attack orders This is a simple deck. You want to get ALO out as fast as possible, and then start dropping large monsters (Giga and terrorking are now treated as LV4 2600 ATK monsters). FAO lets you get maximal damage in, while Aoi will make sure that when the opponent responds with removal, you will get something in return, thereby disturbing their strategy. Another example is a water control deck, a water bounce deck, or a frog Aoi deck : 3x Mobius the Frost Monarch2x Raiza the Storm Monarch2x cyber Dragon2x Mother Grizzly2x Skreech1x Dragon Ice1x Treeborn Frog2x Elemental hero Ocean2x Destiny hero Fear Monger1x Destiny hero Disc Commander1x Elemental hero Stratos1x Snipe Hunter1x Sangan 2x Foolish Burial1x heavy Storm1x MST1x Premature Burial2x foolish Burial1x Pot of Avarice1x Brain control3x Destiny Draw1x Reinforcement of the Army 1x Mirror Force1x Torrential Tribute1x Call of the Haunted3x Spiritual Water Art - Aoi Basically anything with more focus and strategy.
