"Chaos End Master's ability activates. When it destroys a monster in battle, I Special Summon one level five monster from my deck," Amy continued, in the same serious tone. "As long as it has 1600 Attack points or less. I choose Oracle of the Sun!" She extracted a card from her deck and placed it on the field. Before her, the now familiar incan woman appeared, holding her staff offensively. (level 5, ATK: 1000) Like the dragon and warrior, her flesh seemed to decay.

 

"It is still my battle phase, so Vice Dragon attacks directly," Amy said calmly. She took a deep breath. "And Oracle of the Sun does so as well."

"I'm starting to get that feeling myself," Recteik said. The woman never took her eyes off him it made him nervous. Her face was contorted with pure loathing. It was a shame she was kinda cute. "Amy I think we should bolt." "Oh, no your not going anywhere," the woman shreiked. she lunged again and just as before he dodged with no real effort. The woman roared and stompped her feet. "Any time now Amy! I can't dodge this freak forever." The woman realesed a string of curses that made him gape in shock.

Ross turned around, stopping. He thrust his hand out in front of him and a beam of dark energy hit Sazuka, throwing her bckwards. Losing his calmness he yelled, "I SAID STOP!"

 

"Recteik. Leave before she gets up. No matter how much I hate you, I'm not letting you get hurt. Leave."

[Recteik Shade]

Recteik nodded. He urned on Amy and grabbed her, throwing her over his shoulder like a bag of potatoes. She screamed and pounded on his back. He ignored her and bolted to the nearest door past two other people jumped out of his way.

 

When he hit the street he jumped on his Runner st holding Amy and gunned it.

 

 

OOC: You've gotta deal with Sazuka and she's gonna be pissed you know that right?

OOC: Lol yeah.

 

IC: Ross looked over at Sazuka. She would probably try and kill him. He didn't care.

He wished he hadn't seen Recteik. It reminded him of why he became a dark signer. Because of a traitor. When he was around Recteik, he felt like a traitor. He had almost ruined Recteik's life. But he didn't. So why did he feel shame every time Recteik was around...?

Gaichus blinked, and sighed. He moved slowly, and surely, toward the conflict. He really didn't want to do this now. He was enjoying a nice duel, and then one of his subordinates blows up the other. It was annoying. He got to the confrontation, just in time to see the two Signers take off. He grabbed Ross by the cape and lifted him. He felt his backup skittering down his arm. He felt Sazuka behind him, but he really didn't care.

"And what do we think we're doing?"

Ros sighed. "You don't understand. That was me repaying him. I owed him."

He shook free and walked down the hall.

"I will be upstairs if you need me. Or want to kill me."

Amy was NOT pleased once she was able to move without being held still. "What the hell?!" she snapped at Recteik. "Are you crazy?! I was just about to win my duel! For someone so intent on beating Dark Signers, you just made sure one of them DIDN'T lose!"

 

She deactivated her disk and replaced her deck in her deck box, glaring at Recteik's back. On one hand, she was definitely P.O.ed that the duel had been interrupted. Now someone would have to face that child Dark Signer again, and that would be harder than it was this time around! On the other hand, she had felt a little uneasy about winning the duel.

[Recteik Shade]

Recteik sped to his apartment. "Ross, why did it have to be Ross." He was not happy. "And who the hell was that freaky chick?" He owed his life to Ross again. That was the second time Ross saved his life. And now he'd saved Amy too. Amy gave him a look that said'what was that all about.' So Recteik started to tella little story.

Kai was very confused. What on earth was going on? She felt she was missing something incredibly important and nothing seemed to be giving any answers. "What just happened?" she blurted, looking between them all with a tilted head. She hadn't even realized another duel had been going on, and all of a sudden there was arguing and fighting.

Amy raised an eyebrow at Recteik and gave him a long expectant look. He had better have a good explanation that didn't sound like mumbling.

Ross was sitting in a chair upstairs in his bedroom. He was the one that actually owned this place. He looked out the window. "Recteik... why you? We were... a team. And then I failed you. I have to..."

Ross sighed and then went over to his bed and layed down.

He had to stop this.

[Recteik Shade]

"Ross and I were on a Dueling Team 3 years Ago." Recteik said with a sigh. "And. . . Ugh. . . This is hard to talk about. It's a tender wound." Recteik closed his eyes trying to think back to were it all began.

Sazuka sapped awake. "Whaaa, What happened? WERE DID THAT BASTARD GO!!!" she screamed. She looked around Mitsuko was standing over her. "Were did he go?"

Gaichus' ring flashed. He twisted it.

"What's the good word, boss?

"I take it the Signers showed up?"

"How do you know that?"

"That doesn't matter. You now have my permission to move forward with any plans you might have for the extermination of the Signers."

Gaichus grinned. Finally, it's time. "With pleasure."

"Excellent. Have the two agents paired-"

"With two Dark Signers? Already done."

"Well, well. Great minds DO think alike. Have the agents give me a call if anything unusual pops up."

"Will do."

He twisted the ring, and announced his commands through both his mind and his mouth.

"<Attention both Dark Signers AND members of Yliaster. Do you remember who you dueled with? Well, that's who you're going to be partnering up with. Yliaster has generously provided us with D-Wheels for your comfort and transport. The coordinates have already been logged in to the computer. Your destination is the apartment of one Recitek...whoever. He also has a Signer partner, Amy....also whoever. You must defeat them underneath the Geoglyph. That is the only requirement! Good luck!>"

He had his spiders to thank for the info. Planting them on his own subordinates was a brilliant idea. He had to give Regilus the credit for that one, unfortunately. Amazing how a duel is a great distractor.

Ross heard the announcment and sat up in his bed. "No!"

He rolled out of bed and sprinted down the stairs and out the door.

"Not him. Any signer but not Recteik!" He said speaking more to himself than anything.

He jumped on his duel runner and gunned it, heading south.

Sazuka chocked her head,"Recteik?" She walked up to Gaichus,"Who is Recteik. It can't be that royal ass Ross saved can it?" When He nodded she muttered,"He changed his name." Turning away she charged up to Kai,"Pick a Runner you like I'm gonna kill him."

Ross weaved in and out of traffic, avoiding cars and duel runners.

I wonder how Recteik became a signer anyway? He never told me. Maybe he didn't know. Ross thought. It didn't matter, because he'd be dead if Sazuka caught up with him.

 

OOC: Sorry, g2g now guys. We got lots of posts though.

Amy was nonplussed. "So that's why you stopped me from beating one of the Dark Signers? Because someone you know showed up and is probably a Dark Signer?" she sighed. "Whatever. So you can't face the young, quiet one and you'll probably have trouble facing an old friend..." she shrugged. This is why they needed the other Signers around.

Kai giggled at the announcement at first, but then her smile froze. 'Amy something'...could it be her? She had no idea. She didn't reply immediately to what Sazuka said, feeling lost in thought. Nevertheless, she immediately walked over where the Runners were and chose one at random.

Tommy scratched his head, not having a clue what was going on. He looked over at the Duel Runners. 'I have no clue how to work that thing, and my partner just rushed off.' He hoped to hell that he wouldn't be paired with the little silent girl as she gave him the creeps. 'Maybe I should just go ask Mr.Leader of the Dark Signers, but then again, he didn't seem like he was in such a good mood, but when have I ever played it safe.'

 

Tommy walked over to the lead Dark Signer. "Umm, yeah so as you just saw, my Dark Signer partner kind of just vanished into the streets. Soooo...what do you want me to do?"

[Recteik Shade]

Recteik opened his eyes. "Ross had a rough childhood he was picked on constantly. And his parents had abandoned him when he was a baby. I was his only freind. I tuaght him how to duel but I couldn't protect him all the time and he got in with some bad kids. He was going to do something stupid. You see those kids he wanted to impress wanted him to steal drugs for them. I found out and tried to stop him but wasn't sucsessful. He stole the drugs and was goingto give them to the kids I took the drugs from him and tried to return them to the drug dealers." Recteik broke down and started crying. "They tried to shot me and ross took the bullet." Tears rolled down his face. "I should have been there for him more. But I was selfish I wanted to know more about my past. Thats why he turn to those little kids. Its my fault!"

Sazuka broke every speedy law in Neo Domino but she didn't care,"That ass changed his name." She should have seen that. It was hard for her to focus on anything other than finding him and killing him.

OOC: NVM I'm here for a bit longer.

 

IC: Ross started thinking about his past and forgot he was driving. Without any hands on the handles, the duel runner started losing control. Ross shook himself awake and regained control after nearly crashing twice. He turned a hard left onto a dirt road. He turned to hard. Ross leaned to far over and next thing you know he was sprawled out on the side of the road and the duel runner was in a ditch.

Kai giggled happily as she struggled to keep up with Sazuka, a feat made harder by the fact the Dark Signer was going insanely fast, even for a Duel Runner. She swerved through an alleyway to try for a shortcut, which would have worked if she hadn't crashed into a trashcan. Kai snorted as she burst from the alleyway, barely keeping control of the Runner.

Amy winced. Now Recteik had gone into an insanely emotional sob story involving him and his friend. Not exactly what she wanted to hear and she sucked at comforting people. She gave him an awkward pat on the back before finding somewhere to sit in the apartment.

Sazuka turned the corner and smiled she was here and there was no sign of that traitor Ross. She reveiwed the data on the screen,"27, apartment 27. I hope you enjoyed the last 7 years because your going to pay for abandoning me."

 

OOC: Later peoplez I'm out this is starting to get intence.

Ross staggered up behind Sazuka.

"Sazuka! It's not what you think! Don't do this!

 

Ooc: What do you mean by you're out? I hope that just means for the day.

((He's the RP creator and he said it's getting intense with his post ending at a plot relevent aspect. Of course it's only for the day, lol))

 

Kai swerved around a corner, still trying to catch up with Sazuka. Up ahead, she could see the Dark Signer slowing as she approached an apartment building. Was that the destination? Kai giggled. Probably, but she had been more concerned with keeping up than finding out precisely where they were going. Her smile faltered again as she saw the other Dark Signer approach Sazuka, but pushed the concern out of mind. She'd let them take care of whatever they needed to, but her concern at the moment was the identity of the second Signer mentioned. Amy, the announcement had said. If it was who she thought it was...then they were on opposite sides, technically. Kai giggled. That could be either a blast or heart-wrenching. But probably a blast.

OOC:Thank you Evil. I found some extra time.

 

IC: Amy's feeble attempt to comfort him did a little but not much. With an effort he regained his composure," I'm alright, sorry I dropped that on you. I've kept that in for 3 years. But we gotta move their gonna come lokking for us." He stood up and moved to the window. "Uhoh, to late that psycho chick just pulled up. And somebodies walking up to her, Ross ahh damn. We gotta go now!"
