Mitsuko stared up at the two intruders. For some reason, they gave her a bad feeling, but she had no idea why. It was as if fighting them was the reason for her being here. There were two: A guy who seemed to be nervous about something, and a girl who had looked happy until she'd seen Mitsuko.

Without thinking, she opened up her arms and took her duel disk in her right hand. She moved it over her left arm, and it clamped down, locking itself in place. Her deck was already in the appropriate slot, and the duel disk shifted to battle mode by itself. Not once did she ever look away from the signers, and she didn't even seem to blink.

"..."

Mitsuko didn't really plan to fight; even if she did, she only did so through boredom and not though any desire to advance any goals of the Dark Signers or Yliaster. She waited to see what these people would do.

Amy watched as the young girl's disk activated, signalling the start of a duel. Her unblinking stare was a little unnerving, but she didn't dwell on that.

With a single glance at Recteik, Amy stepped forward and activated her own Duel Disk, using her free hand to withdraw her own deck and slide it into the deck slot. The shuffling mechanism of her disk swiftly shuffled the cards. Amy waited for maybe five seconds before drawing her opening hand.

LP: 8000

At that moment, the Tail birthmark on her arm glowed red, becoming visible to everyone in sight. Amy stared back at the young girl before deciding to take the first move. "I draw," she said with a trace of a smile. "I'll start with Apocatequil!" she announced, placing her card onto her monster zone. An eerie statue creature appeared in front of Amy. (Lvl 4, 1800/1200)

"Next...I activate One For One!" Amy continued, sliding a spell card into one of her S/T zones. "By discarding one monster, l can Special Summon one level one monster from my hand or deck. So I'll send my Dandylion, in order to Special Summon the tuner monster, Supay! And since Dandylion was sent to the graveyard, I summon 2 Fluff Tokens in defense mode!"

The activated Spell glowed and a fiendish mask appeared, following promptly by two seedlings. (Lvl 1, ATK: 300) (Lvl 1, DEF: 0) x2.

"While there is a Tuner on my field, Apocatequil counts as a level five monster," Amy explained. "So I tune my Level five Apocatequil with my level one Supay!"

The mask dissolved into a green ring and the statue passed through it, dissolving into a column of five white stars. A beam of light fired through the one ring and from the light emerged a blue moon-shaped being with three blue dragon heads growling from it. "Meet Moon Dragon Quilla!" Amy announced. (Level 6, ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000)

"Lastly I play a card facedown to end my turn," she said, grinning eagerly.

Mitsuko picked up the cards from her deck and observed them in silence. Her tiny hands made them look unusually large.

"Draw," she said, in a quiet voice, pulling a new card from her deck.

"Activate Allure of Darkness...Draw 2 Cards...Remove Mystic Tomato from play."

"Summon Pyramid Turtle, Defense Position." A Turtle, with a shell resembling an Egyptian pyramid, appeared, and proceeded to withdraw into it's shell. (DEF 1400)

"Card face down...End Turn."

Throughout her turn, Mitsuko had barely moved, staying motionless beyond what was necessary to play her cards. She looked back to her opponent.

Amy blinked at how quiet her opponent was, but again didn't dwell on it for long. "Draw," she stated simply. She looked at her new card and smiled. "I summon Fire Ant Ascator!" she stated, throwing the card onto her disk. A large red ant appeared, making a hiss sound. "I tune my level 3 Fire Ant with my two level one Fluff Tokens to Synchro Summon Ally of Justice- Catastor!"

Three green rings formed and the seedlings passed through them, becoming two stars, dissipating as another beam of light shot through the rings. From the rings emerged a spider-like alien machine of some sort with a head like a ray cannon. (Level 5, ATK: 2200)

Amy grinned. "Go, Ally of Justice, attack her Pyramid Turtle. When my Ally battles a monster that is any attribute other than Dark, the opposing monster is instantly destroyed, no matter how strong or weak, and no damage is dealt. Since this counts as an effect, Pyramid Turtle won't get its effect."

"Trap Card...Bottomless Trap Hole...when monsters with 1500 or more attack is summoned...destroyed and removed from play."

The image of the card on the child's field swung up, and a pit opened up beneath the machine. It tumbled down into it, and seemed to keep falling out of sight.

(I apologise for the short post. Balancing post length, clarity and Mitsuko's personality is quite hard, and not having much to post doesn't help.)

Amy frowned as her new Synchro vanished, but she was undaunted. "Darn. Quilla, take out the Turtle. With that, I end my turn," she said, resigning herself to the fact her opponent was about to summon a new Zombie monster without much she could do to prevent it at this time. It all depended on WHICH Zombie, however.

"Pyramid Turtle's Effect...Special Summon 1 Zombie-type monster with 2000 or less defense...Select Zombie Master (ATK 1900)." Mitsuko placed a new monster on her field, replacing the one destroyed.

"Draw."

"Activate Mystical Space Typhoon...Target face-down card."

"Activate Hand Destruction...Discard Armageddon Knight and Mezuki...Draw two cards."

"Activate Field Spell Zombie World...All monsters on field and in Graveyards Zombie-type...Only Zombie-type monsters can be tribute summoned." The image of a graveyard appeared around the duellists, and Quilla suddenly seemed to be rotting away."

"Summon Getsu Fuhma...Attack position." (ATK 1700) A female warrior appeared on the field. She, like the moon dragon, seemed to be rotting.

"Getsu Fuhma attacks Moon Dragon Quilla...Getsu Fuhma's effect...Destroy any Zombie-Type monster it battles."

Both monsters were smashed apart (Mitsuko LP: 8000 > 7200).

"Zombie Master...Direct attack." (Amy 8000 > 6100)

"Card face-down...End Turn."

Amy grinned and tapped a button on her Disk. "Trap activate. Call of the Haunted. This resurrects my Supay!" The trap flipped over to reveal a graveyard with smoke billowing from it. The mask-like creature reappeared, but the storm conjured by the opponent's Spell nevertheless shattered the trap and the mask exploded with it.

"When Supay is sent to the Graveyard through a card effect, like Call of the Haunted's destruction clause, it Special Summons the monster Oracle of the Sun from my deck and doubles its ATK points. Despite this, I summon it in defense mode," Amy explained, extracting a card from her deck and placing it on the field. A woman wearing an old incan robe appeared on the field. (Level 5, ATK: 1000=2000. DEF: 2000)

Upon prompting, Amy discarded the two cards in her hand and drew two fresh ones. She was silent as the field changed, both of her monsters looking more like rotting corpses.

((I am unsure whether your moves change due to Oracle being summoned. Presently assuming they don't, excepting the direct attack, due to it not being possible))

The zombie warrior lunged at Quilla, and both exploded. Amy shrugged. "When Moon Dragon is attacked, half of the attacking monster's attack points are added to my lifepoints."

LP: 8850

"During the End Phase of the turn Oracle of the Sun was Special Summoned by Supay's effect, it returns to my hand," Amy said, taking the card from her Duel Disk and putting it into her hand. She placed her hand on her deck, ready to draw. "My turn?"

((RE Zombie Master: Oops. I got it mixed up with Paladin of Cursed Dragon. I really should check these things.))

Mitusko stared at her opponent, not blinking. Finally, she gave a single small nod of the head as a response to the question.

"Draw!" Amy called out, flicking the top card of her deck and grinning. "Since I have no monsters and you do, I can Special Summon Oracle of the Sun!" The incan woman reappeared, holding her staff defensively. (Level 5, ATK: 1000, DEF: 2000)

"And now I summon another Fire Ant Ascator!" Amy continued, and a large red ant appeared. (Level 3, ATK 1200) "Now I tune my monsters to summon out my Sun Dragon Inti!" The three green rings surrounded the Oracle's five stars, erupting into a pillar of light.

From this light emerged a orange, sun shaped creature that, like the Moon Dragon, had three dragon heads emerging from its body. (Level 8, ATK: 3000) It groaned slightly and began decaying until it was more zombified, but Amy didn't really care.

"Go, Sun Dragon Inti, attack her Zombie Master!" Amy commanded. The sun-shaped creature growled and the three heads launched a burst of flame at the opposing necromancer.

Sazuka heard a dragon roar. Turning toward the direction of the niose. "Hmmm, I wonder what that is?" She grabbed her Duel Disk a moved back the direction she had come. She could hear a young womans voice echoing down the halls.

As she got closer to the sounds of the duel she paused,"Should I go get Kai? We're suposed to work together. No, she'd just kill the fun."

Mitsuko stayed perfectly still as the dragon destroyed her monster, not even blinking. (LP: 7200 > 6000). She continued to stare at her opponent, almost as if she was willing her to continue.

(Another short post. Without any apparent thought process, it's kind of hard to do an 'attack goes through' post though)

Amy grinned and slid a card into one of the rear slots of the disk. "I place one card facedown. That ends my turn," she said, the hologram of a facedown card materializing behind her monster. The Sun Dragon roared in triumph, the three dragon heads growling at the opponent. Amy looked over at her opponent, noticing she hadn't even reacted to the move at all. Wow, she was creepy. It was reminiscient of one of those horror movies with evil children.

"Draw," Mitusko stated flatly, adding another card to her hand.

"Summon Getsu Fuhma...attack position." Another female figure, identical to the first, appeared on the field.

"Activate Book of Life...Summon zombie-type from gaveyard...Selecting Armageddon Knight...Remove from play monster from opponent's grave...Selecting Moon Dragon Quilla."

"Armageddon Knight's effect...Send one dark-attribute monster from deck to graveyard. Selecting Earthbound Immortal Aya Sankha Maki."

"Getsu Fuhma attacks Sun Dragon Inti."

Sazuka rounded the corner and stopped dead. Mitsuko was dueling! And not just dueling but a Signer. "What the hell, How did you get in here?" She walked up stopping next to Mitsuko and observed the situation. Her fellow Dark Signer was losing in Life Pionts but she was about to level the feild by destroying her opponents dragon.

Then she noticed the other Signer. Sazuka froze,"YOU!!!!" She sheiked at the other Signer. He jumped in suprise at her rection. "You know me?" He asked playing dumb.

"Activate Trap!" Amy said quickly, and the facedown card flipped up. "Imperial Iron Wall! This trap prevents cards from getting removed from play, so Quilla will be staying in my graveyard, thank you very much." She knew Armageddon Knight would still be summoned, but her primary concern was preserving her dragons.

Quilla, on the verge of being sucked out of the graveyard, floated back down into the abyss of death. Getsu Fuhma struck Inti, which retaliated with a burst of fire before shattering. Amy gazed back at her opponent passively. If she wanted to keep destroying her monsters and taking damage, that was fine with her. However, she felt a flicker of fear in regards to the sending of the Earthbound Immortal to the Graveyard. If the stories were true...she could be in deep, deep trouble.

Ross put his hand on his deck, signifiying surrender.

"Good game."

Ross turned and left. He needed to find the signers.

Ross exited the room and sprinted down the hall, turning a corner and almost running into the signers.

"Recteik!?" Ross asked shocked.

"What in the world is going on?"

Recteik stared at the woman who had screamed at him. She seemed to get realy angry at the thought of him not knowing who she was. She was clearly a Dark Signer but he had never met her before but she knew him. "Sorry missy 'fraid I don't know ya",he was trying to be condessending and rude. It work way to well,"MISSY" the woman screamed. She drew a slim dagger from her sleeve and lunged at him.

Recteik jumped into the air doing a backflip on instict before landing on his hands and kicking the knife out of the womans grasp. "That was a little extreme don't you think?!"

OOC: Were is eveybody? There are a bunch of people who joined and haven't even posted anything.

"Ross!? God how many Dark Signers are here?! The violent woman still glared at Recteik. "Hey Ross, who is this sociopath?" She cursed at him and lunged again wild fury in her eyes. He easily dance away with a grace that almost came naturally.

Kai sighed, clearly disappointed at the abrupt and utterly anti-climactic end to the duel she was watching. What was with the Dark Signers surrendering to them and rushing out of the room immediately afterwards? She giggled, before realizing the small girl she had been sitting next to had disappeared. She stared at the empty spot on the couch for about five seconds.

"Where did everyone go?" she asked Tommy, looking around. All three Dark Signers had left.

---

Amy blinked at the abrupt appearance of not one, but two more presumed Dark Signers, and both of them not only seemed to know Recteik, but one of them tried to stab him.

"Do you mind?" she said irritably. "Take the rough-housing somewhere else. We're trying to duel here!" she complained, but couldn't resist a grin at how absurd her statement sounded. She turned back to her opponent, waiting to see if there was anything else she was going to do this turn.

"Shut up!" Sazuka snapped at the uptity brat. "You, when I get through with you you'll beg for my god to take you." She stabbed her finger at Recteik. "It's your fault, all of it."

---

Recteik was a little surprised. He knew the Dark Signers were murderous creatures but this woman seemed absolutly insane. "Whats my fault?" Recteik was so confused. "Who are you?"

"Trap card...Solemn Judgement...Half Life Points...Negate Trap Activation...Negate Imperial Iron Wall...Moon Dragon Quilla removed from play." (Mitsuko 6000 > 3000)

Quilla, returning to the graveyard, changed direction and left again. Inti was smashed apart by the female warrior. (Mitsuko 3000 > 1700)

"Armageddon Knight attacks directly." The other figure rushed at the signer.

(Regardless of whether you respond or not there's nothing else she can do)

"Straight back at you, those Earthbound Immortals sure are something, I don't know if I could've survived another attack," Tommy said while looking at his hand and seeing nothing but monsters.

Tommy looked over at Kai who had asked him a question. "I saw the Dark Signer I was just dueling run down that hallway, so I think we should go see what's going on."

He went down an area where he thought a duel was taking place. He turned the corner and saw the quiet little girl dueling, and no less, she was dueling one of the signers Tommy was to do a report on as one of his first assignments as a member of Yliaster.

((Getsu Fuhma was still destroyed in battle by Inti))

Amy grunted in slight pain as the zombified warrior struck her in the gut and her lifepoints dropped to 7450. She raised an eyebrow nevertheless at the move. Was her opponent really that desperate to keep her Dragons out of commission that she was willing to lose so many lifepoints?

"My turn!" she announced. Her gaze flicked to the card she drew. A momentary look of shock came over her face. This card...

"I summon Vice Dragon!" she announced, placing the other card in her hand onto her Duel Disk. A gray dragon materialized, promptly zombifying. "When I have no monsters and you do, this can be Special Summoned. In exchange, it loses half its ATK power." (Level 5, ATK: 2000=1000 DEF: 2400=1200). "Then...I summon Chaos End Master," she said, her tone becoming solemn. The tuner monster appeared, decaying like the rest. (Level 3, ATK: 1500)

Amy hesitated for a long time. If she attacked with her Chaos End Master and destroyed Armageddon Knight, she'd be able to summon Oracle of the Sun from her deck. Vice Dragon and Oracle would then perform direct attacks and the duel would be over. But if she refused to seize this chance, her opponent could use the Mezuki in her graveyard to summon any Zombie...and her field spell made all monsters in the grave Zombies...including the dreaded Earthbound Immortal.

It was at this moment that Amy realized what Recteik had meant about not being sure if he could fight the girl. But if she held back, she could lose, and if this was a Shadow Duel...then death was the penalty.

"Chaos End Master...attack her Armageddon Knight," she said quietly.

((I know. Stupid brain doesn't seem to like this duel.))

Mitsuko watched in silence as her monster was smashed apart. (1700 > 1600) She didn't so much as flinch, seeming to completely ignore it. Her mind had done the calculations. Everything would still work. She stared at her opponent, waiting for her to continue.

Ross stared at Recteik and then looked at Sazuka.

Straining to be calm he told her: "Stop. This. Right. Now."

He closed his eyes for a second to regain composure. "Just, everyone, chill out."

He looked back at Recteik. "You shouldn't have come back here Recteik."

He took a deep breath then left.
