Koaki Meiru will most likely not see the higher tiers for a while, due to their self destruction abilities. However, if they were made as fast as or faster than either blackwings or lightsworns, then maybe they would see more competitive play, but for now, they are best used as supports for other deck types.

All that Koaki Meriu do is help other decks. I don't think that will be enought at all to help them... But atleast it's something. It's a nice effect for people who actally try to run Proper Koaki Meriu decks.

I know.

I try to run a proper Core Chimail deck.

So far, I have less then 10 cards for them.d

Koaki's need more support that isn't in monster form. Maybe another card who's name is treated as Core while in your had' date=' deck, and graveyard, but not during deckbuilding? If done right, it could change them completely, but the current core is worthless.

[/quote']

That would help so much...

I knowz.

Plus, they already got the potential, they just need something to release it and make it to tier 1.

The question is, what should said core replacement do? Should it be that continuous spell Idea I mentioned before that changes the suicidal text on Koa'kis to "Destoy a card your opponent controls" or "Your opponent discards a card", or maybe something else?

I don't know. But I'd make it something to change a card in your hand to become teh Core.

Or at least make 1 Core pay all the costs.

ITT:

-Field Spell-

"Koa'ki Meiru" monsters dont have there effect activated that requires them to discard an "Iron Core" or reveal card [X] in your hand. All Koa'ki Meiru monsters gain 700ATK and DEF."

If only that was real' date=' it would have helped out so much.

[/quote']

Burgerkingzak becomes 2700ATK double-attacker.

Then finally, Core Chimail can become their own deck type.

And rule and beat the BW with a iron fist.

I was thinking of something like that. 700 ATK is a bit throught :P, 500 would be more balanced...

Once per turn' date=' if a "Koa'ki Meiru" monster you control would be destroyed by battle, you can discard 1 "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" from your hand. All Koa'ki Meiru monsters gain 300ATK and DEF for each "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" in your Graveyard. Interesting, some of the Iron Core support and Koaki Meiru support would come into play with this card. I like this, However i would change the destroy by battle to just destroyed ;), just to make the card awesome.

I like Handless Fake's field spell better, it's balenced and gives the Koa'ki Meiru the extra boost they need.

Also' date=' have its name treated as core while not on the field. xD

That would also open up so much.

[/quote']

While in the hand and grave it counts as a Core. I'm not sure if that would break the card or not...

If it was treated as core in the deck, it would have searchabaility past Terraforming.

However, it's reusable in grave and used for Maximus among other things in hand, so that's fine.
