[spoiler=plot]The Yellow Rose, A coffee shop in an American city just like any other, full of hopeful children, angst-filled teenagers, successful business men and women, deadbeats, artists, actors, scientists, military men, conspiracy theorists, people. What do all of these people have in common? The Yellow Rose. Absolutely everyone's been there. Most of them are repeat customers. The Yellow rose isn't the most important place in town by any stretch of the imagination, but it is practically the center of it's social aspect. Thousands of customers a day walk through its pine door onto it's mosaic flaw, depicting, you guessed it, a yellow rose. It's friendly staff have seen it all within it's walls, friendships made and marriages destroyed, mafia crime deals and budding romance. Child birth and the death of the elderly.

Appearance: Jarvis stands at 5'9, he's very skinny, but not without muscle, he has a pronounced 4-pack and long, muscular limbs. His skin is well-tanned. Jarvis' large, emotive eyes are a yellowish green, they're set relatively close together with his smallish nose between them, said nose shows signs of a previous break being slightly crooked toward the left. His small mouth is set well on his face, and his lips are quite red. Jarvis' black hair is mid-length reaching his shoulders, sometimes, although not often, he ties it back into a pony tail. Usually when he acts (Which he does as a drama student and a theatre buff outside of school.) Jarvis idea of fashion consists of skinny legged jeans and a plain black shirt.

Personality: Jarvis, first and foremost is very outgoing and friendly, he's open-minded, but firm on his values, he has a very judgmental side that comes out when someone has done something thoroughly against said values, he tries to be compassionate toward everyone, to help them in any way he can, however, certain people mean a lot more to him then even he himself does, these people are his close friends, to Jarvis, family means less then friendship and love, as you're born into family, friendship is a choice, and love is destiny.

Biography: Jarvis was born into a Catholic family with very clear-cut values, he was quite happy with this for a long time, but he found much of the church to be very un-accepting, finally, after seeing his gay friend being persecuted for his sexuality by Catholics, he renounced his faith, siting that he still believed in God, however, god, in his opinion was a being of love, and persecution wasn't in his nature. Now, four years later he's continued with this theology in the back of his mind, but he doesn't live as a religious person, he's a good friend to the owner of the Yellow Rose and occasionally stays in her apartment which is directly above the shop.

Note, the city will remain nameless, it does have a name, but I'd really rather not make anything up, nor do I particularly want to make it a real city, because that then applys the constraints of that city to my own. Also, the whole RP, won't revolve around the shop, it's just a central sort of 'meeting point' to tie the characters together.

Appearance: Hirosuke wears a casual T-Shirt, which is usually hidden under his jacket. His jacket is midnight blue with a purple-ish tint and a design that consists of dark stars. Hirosuke's hair is jet black, with a bit of a blue tint. His hair matches well with his personality. Hirosuke's eyes are a deep amber; which shine brightly when exposed to bright light. His face is usually a kind and gentle one.

Personality: Hirosuke is usually a kind person. His face would make him look like he's always depressed, but this is not usually the case. Hirosuke is a quite person who usually likes to keep to himself. Because of people always seeing him alone, they often prefer to stay away from him; This doesn't hurt or anger Hirosuke though. Hirosuke is the type that knows when something isn't right, and isn't afraid to say anything about it. He is independent and doesn't usually enjoy working in teams. He doesn't speak much, but what he doesn't say in words, he makes up with his kind and passionate actions. When Hirosuke smiles, it's usually a kind, gentle, and soft smile. Luckily, one day while he was in his depression, he walked around the streets of town, and it was there that he found The Yellow Rose.

Biography: Britney has suffered abuse in her life. She turned to art, dance and music to take her mind off of things. She easily got into the daily routine of just leaving home and doing her own thing, leaving the abuse for a new routine. She loves the new life and it makes her feel new inside.

Name: Nocens "Noc" Officium

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Nocens has long black hair, down to a little before the middle of her back, held behind her ears with hair clips but otherwise allowed to stay unrestrained. Occasionally, she'll tie back her hair with what appears to be prayer beads, but it is impossible to tell without looking closely; This is generally done only while she is on work.

Her face has even features, and predominantly shows off her rather large green eyes, having an almost catlike quality to them. At times, they can be glassy and reflect more than general, almost as if she isn't thinking about anything in particular. Occasionally, she wears a pair of rectangular glasses, though she only needs them for reading.

She's about 5'4 tall, with rather low-positioned shoulders and comparatively slim hips and waist, with the hips being very slightly wider; her chest is slightly smaller than average. Nocen is very thin, with almost no muscle evident on her and somewhat bony arms and legs. She doesn't appear to have much strength on her at first.

 

Clothing wise, she generally wears a modified green halter top with cut open sleeves that allow her forearms to move freely. Around her right wrist is a Rosary Bead string, tied around her wrist at all times. There is a cross there, made of iron and set with a couple jewels. Around that, she generally wears a black leather coat for the general weather, and below that,a knee-length lilac skirt. Her footware generally changes from day to day, though it is usually black, shiny and nondescript.

 

 

Personality: Bored and whimsical, Nocen is known for nonsequitors and not making much sense unless you listen to her very carefully. She always has an open mind about everything, though very little really interests her. She is aware that she is fairly different from most people and doesn't particularly mind that as long as they mind their own business. Inwardly, she is quite snarky and prone to making fun of others, though she is much too polite to say much to people's faces directly.

Biography: Born to a family of occultists, Nocens grew up in a family that believed in witches, prophecy, and poltergeists- and hated them. Trained to be such an 'Evil Destroyer' like the witchunters and exorcists of old, Nocens doesn't really have much of a flair or wish to do it, and these days only preforms exorcisms or fortune-tellings on demand. She hasn't met a witch to be destroyed yet, though she figures its only a matter of time. She's not particularly religious, which is odd as most of her 'equipment' involves christian imagery- Rosaries, bibles, that sort of thing.

Aside from that, she's also attempting to get a degree in English at the resident College, and is well known for her Creative Writing. She's horrible at poems, despite her trying, however.

Appearance: Physical Appearance

Keichi is an average sized kid at 5"1. He weighs in at about 103 pounds. Though not over wait his cheeks are slightly pudgy and are usualy a shade of light red due too the fact that he blushes and gets embaresed very easily due too his timid persinality. He has a four pack since he has a brown belt in judo. He's hair is a light brown color and is parted too the left and ends as it reaches his forhead. His eyes are a shade of light green and many people comment that they are the color of a lime.

 

Clothing/Accesories

Keichi wears his favorite belt which buckle is made out of silver. He wears a white T-shirt that has a desighn of a red fire holding a pistal, an M9 Keichi observed, with the words "Play with fire, and your going to get shot!" in yellow. Over that he wears a black hoody with the words "Objection!" in red ink. He wears dark blue jeans that are ripped were his left knee is. He also usualy wears black sneakers with wight soles. Sometimes the sneakers are untide when Keichi doesnt notice it or pay attenchin.

Personality: Shy and timid generaly too strangers but simply calm too his friends. Zeke tries too make friends and as soon as he sees a person in trouble he runs too help ASAP. Since he had a girlfriend before (She dumped him) he is a bit sad. Zeke gets good grades though and can really focus when needed. He is very defensive and gets overprotective towards suspecios people.
