High School and Super Powers? Original RP [PG-16] (Closed)

The rest of the day had been pretty uneventful as Kenji had imagined. Physics was just basic introductions and basic history and no other class had really gotten to anything. As school was over Kenji headed over to room the room where the club Yukari-sensei had spoken of would take place. Kenji needed an after-school activity and figured this club might be the thing for him depending on how entertaining it was.

Kenji walked into the room for the club meeting. He'd been wondering exactly what would be going on in it. He entered with a "Hello Yukari-sensei." and headed to a seat as Yukari-sensei had said. He saw Yukari-sensei fiddling around with something. He felt no need to question what she was doing, no doubt it would be a very energetic response that could easily be avoided. As Kenji looked around he figured he would eventually have to get to know some of the kids here as there were not only going to be here but in his home room. Still, at the moment, whatever Yukari-sensei was doing seemed the most interesting.

Noir walked in just as Yukari-sensei's instructions came out. He walked in, and settled for a seat towards the middle of the room. He was sure Raydoz was not that far behind, and pulled out his book to read in the small window of time he had before his 'companion' came back. At least, he tried to read. Yukari's incessant fiddling was on his nerves. He decided starting sweet would work best. He got up, and walked over to Yukari. "Yukari-sensei?" He asked nicely, "What is that you are fiddling with?" He raised an eyebrow in not-so-mock interest. He would play nice for a few weeks, as much as he detested it, and then turn slowly but surely.

Taiga sat quetly in his seat beside Kanju-san. Normally, he wouldgo right up to Yukari-senei's glorious form and question her, but that black cube screamed 'science fiction.' In his book, strange black box with knobs and antennae plus strange new teacher (no matter how good she seems) equals mysterious objectective.

Instead, he make his observations of the wonderful teacher him his pocket book. I really am running out of space, He noted. I probably should get the PDA today. To finish up, he used his small digital camera to take a few pictures of her to add to his files. As an after thought, he snapped some of the other students in the class.

Well. The rest of the day was boring. Quite boring in fact, to the point where Tanizaki-sensei's nonsensicalness seemed almost refreshing, like a sharp dose of mouthwash down the throat. History had came and gone with Guadiacco-san as a anchor to tie her sanity to. Although Maria really truly hated to admit it, the foreign girl was starting to grow on her. Maybe it was because she was quite pretty, but it was more likely that she had that same approach to life that Maria herself did. Keep a lookout for yourself, and don't let anyone else impede you until you got to the top of that old elusive ladder. Then you can start taking targets.

After history, lunch came around, and although the brunette wanted to acquaint herself with her new friend/sister in crime, other matters needed to be attended to. Gossip needed to be spread, rumors needed to be confirmed and generated, the like. Sumi-chan and Micchan were waiting for her at the usual lunch table, as well, and to skip out on them would be an act of betrayal unimaginable by the three of them. Therefore, she put up her little mask of pep and cheer and sat down at the table, idly eating her bento while animatedly talking with the two other girls. For a moment, it almost felt like she wasn't moved out of their class group, and that normalcy had resumed. However, the bell rang soon enough, and Maria waved them off as she went to her next classes.

The rest of the day seemingly flew past her somewhat-dazed eyes. Not from having any interest, of course. Maria was mainly distracted throughout the day, and she didn't let any of the teachers' countless discussions and prattling-ons filter through her shuttered ears. Instead, her thoughts kept drifting back to that silly club that Tanizaki-sensei had seemingly established. Something about that stupid "Civil Justice" idea made her a bit pissed inside. Namely, how did such a new teacher get around to setting up a club that quickly? It defied every bit of logic that Maria knew, and even though it was a petty thing, she had her heart set on crashing the event.

So, about 5 minutes before the club's official start time, Maria was waiting outside the door of the clubroom, tapping her foot regularly against the tiled linoleum. It wasn't like she was afraid to go in or anything like that. No. If the brunette knew her new friend well enough, she had a feeling that Adrienne would be in the same mindset as her right now. Great minds think alike, right? Hopefully that'd be proven true.

Katsura closed his manga once he was about halfway through. He always did read fast, but it's impossible to read half a manga in 10 minutes. Anyways, he already read most of that half before he just started reading now. He straightened his papers and tapped his pencils on his desk a few times, right before standing up. He quickly threw himself up, and slyly turned behind his chair, pushing it back in place. Lying one hand on his desk. he put his Manga on his papers and lied his pencils besides it. Right then, he felt a bit of a headache, and turned his head upwards the door, noticing a girl outside the class. He took a few steps towards her, and began playing with his fingers a bit. "W-why not come in? There's nothing wrong here..." He asked in a bit of a nervous tone.

Hirosuke looked at Yukari-Sensei. A part of him wondered what she was planning on doing with this club, yet another part of him couldn't care less. He sighed as he turned his head to Kyoshi-San

"What do you think...?" he asked, his voice low "About this club, I mean..."

Hirosuke waited for his answer and then started tapping his foot out of pure anxiousness. He turned his head towards the door way and noticed that mostly everyone was beginning to walk in. Hirosuke turned to his watch and then sighed a bit. He wondered why he was here in the first place... Hirosuke then turned back to Taiga, and noticed that he was rather dazed as he wrote things down in his notebook

This one....Is such a strange one...

Taiga looked up nervously from his pocket book. He glanced up at Yukari-sensei and at the students still coming in. Swallowing nervously, he answered Kanju-san.

"Well, I've got two theories," he said, somewhat softly. "One: Yukari-sensei is just a regular, if not strange and wonder, teacher that applied late to the position and was accepted. Not only that, but she is forming the club in response to the reports of the strange masked vigilante in town.

"Two: Yukari sensei is not just a teacher concerned about the vigilante, but she is the vigilante, this club existing only to cover her presence in plain site, maybe even to recruit minions!" He voice slowly developed a conspiratorial tone and when he ended, his face resembled that of someone telling a horror story.

"But that's all just ideas," he smiled, turning back to his book. "After all, my wonderful Yukari-chan wouldn't do something like that." He hastily turned pages in his book and started jotting in the section headed Sengoku Maria.

"Yo!" Jun called, raising his hand in greeting as he entered the classroom, ignoring both Maria and Katsura. "Wow..." He muttered, only seeing a few people. "Looks like not a lot of people are interested in doing this." It wasn't really surprising, though, most people just minded their own business. That was the problem with these schools, people could get the snot beaten out of them and nobody would care; that was why this club existed, or so he figured. Glancing over at Yukari-sensei, he noticed her fiddling with a strange black box that looked like something straight out of a science fiction book. Deciding not to bother her, he sat down on a desk, placed his headband over his eyes and leaned back with his hands behind his head.

OOC: Sorry, my modem crash yesterday, so I can't on and I can't type/post last night at CC

Walking not too far from Noir to the room he was leaded, Raydoz was walking like a wavily. Passing the 2 girls in front, he came crashing in to the club room, down to the solid floor. Lying on the floor, he said "uhhh... Physic...too powerful....to handle...uhhh, I feel sick..." arranging his snow cap nicely, he get up and saw Taiga, so he greeted him with an apology "Sorry...I didn't say anything just now, I'm getting ready for Physics...uhh and it didn't work...". Turning a little bit to the side he saw, Hirosuke was writing something and talk to him "Yo...I didn't catch your name just now(at the cafeteria), what was it again ?" while waiting for an answer, something suddenly caught his attention, it was a large black cube device with antenna sticking out of it. His eyes widened and without thinking, he said "The All-Spark....no..wait...it can't be...I-I-It's a remote control bomb!!! Cool!! XD" while yelling a bit in the process. "Hmmm, you(Hirosuke) should tell me later, I think you have something to do for the time being" with that said, Raydoz headed for the lonely chair by the window at the back with no one near there and sat on it, gazing upon the sky. He continue his "gaze" as he thinks about his father, "I wonder if he need help...". Tugging his snow cap a little bit down, he let out a sigh in the progress.

OOC: Anyone here ?

Yukari ignored anyone who was talking to her, apparently very involved in the machine. As she continued to turn the knobs, a very faint and garbled voice could be heard under the squealing and static. After a few more seconds of twiddling, the voice got stronger for a split second, then disappeared behind the static. Her expression was one of pure focus. She switched the knob she was twiddling, slowly making the voice clearer until what it was saying was able to be discerned.

...We got a 10-4 on the fourth side street.

Roger that, this is unit A-8 heading to fourth side street.

Gang activity suspected. Approach with caution...

The rest of Adrienne's day passed fairly uneventfully after she departed from Maria—she moved from class to class with precision at her regular stately pace, introducing herself time and time again to the teacher and explaining the reason for which she was attending classes in a different order. In between classes during her walks through the hallways, she was usually accompanied by a chattering girlfriend or several blushing young men, who seemed to be having some sort of trouble stringing more than three words together at a time.

Thinking back on her day as the bell rang, signaling the end of of the final period, the Grecian girl decided that the only redeeming factor of her abrupt and unwanted schedule change was the unexpected friendship she had struck up with Maria Sengoku—that, and the fact that she still knew a fair amount of people in her new classes, allowing her to make the transition with minimal discomfort. She wondered briefly why she and Maria hadn't gotten to know one another earlier, considering the things and mannerisms they had in common.

Then again, Adrienne reasoned, Ryoo High is a big school. Perhaps I let the one or two bad things I'd heard about her dominate my opinion on her.

Gathering her things, she was one of the first out of door, skirt swaying slightly as she moved down the hallway to her locker, which wasn't too far away. She kept to her stately pace, taking comfort in the many buses and other forms of public transportation that allowed the students of the Saitama Prefecture to travel to and from school—whether she happened to miss the first bus or not, it wasn't a concern for her; if there was one thing Adrienne had learned so far in life, it was that nothing and no one was irreplaceable.

She closed her locker with a firm slam, hoisting her backpack over her shoulder—fortunately not too heavily laden—and began to walk to the station where she caught her bus. Along the way, she replied to the various farewells her friends gave her and swept past the one or two dorks who stopped and stood still to gawk without even noticing they were there. Her features were beginning to settle into her usual faintly cold expression when she slowed down slightly as she passed a doorway where Maria Sengoku was tapping her foot impatiently, apparently waiting for somebody or someone.

"Hey, Maria," Adrienne said, coming to stand next to the diminutive brunette and giving a cool look at the classroom, which seemed filled with a few people. "What are you doing standing around here?"

Taiga sighed, a bit disappointed. After all the hyper he had built up, the strange black box just turned out to be a radio. Nothing exciting or exotic. As he listened to the report coming over the device, however, his interest was rekindled.

Strange, that doesn't sound like a normal radio report, he though to himself. He started jotting down some of the terms. 10-4... unit A-8... gang activity... If I didn't know any better, I'd say that it sounded like... like... he swallowed... A police report? A live one too. That means the box is a police scanner? Why would wonderful Yukari-sensei have a police scanner? The reports of the masked female vigilante popper into his head.

No, he thought, shaking his head. I police scanner isn't that strange to have in a club about civil justice, right? Of course not. Despite his attempts at convincing himself, he was begining to have second thoughts about the club. Second thoughts indeed...

OoC: Sorry for not posting. I have underestimated the difficulty of my school courses and now I have to actually study. (>_<;)

IC: Yukari cheered when she heard the police reports clearly from the scanner.

"Finally! I got this piece of junk to manage to pick one up! Hahaha! Yukari 1, Police 0!" she cheered, getting up and yelling loud enough to drown out the radio transmission. She dashed towards the bookshelf and grabbed one of the books, the cover printed with "Police Code Manual" in a plain font.

"10-4, 10-4...Ah...10-4: Vandalism spotted. Ok then!"

She closed the book with energy and looked towards the confused students who sat in the clubroom.

"So you all came here because you wanted to make a difference in your community correct? Well here at Ryoo Civil Justice Club, we don't write petitions to the mayor to ask for stricter police surveillance. We don't put posters up on the walls saying "Be Careful at Night". We do some good ol' fashioned civilian justice! Since we're all citizens (I assume), we are all able to make citizen arrests. Not many people know they can do this, but we can and in this club, we will! Any questions?"

Taiga stared a bit impassively. He looked over at kanju-san then back at the energetic teacher.

"Ah, it seem like lovely Yukari-sensei is the masked vigilante," he breathed softly. THe he when on in a louder voice. "But that's what makes her so wonderful! The air of mystery that surrunds her!" Taiga was soon lost in a daydream.

"Yukari-sensei," he said happily, "I will gladly help you. Just tell me what to do." His brain started working again. "But, how are we to make these citizen arrests? We can't exactly walk up to then and do it." He sighed sadly, disappontment heavy in his chest.

Hirosuke turned his head towards Taiga who was next to him. He let out a small and quiet sigh

"There's something wrong with you, ya know that...?" he sighed. Hirosuke then turned to the front of the club room where Yukari-Sensei sat. He yawned a little bit and then a small and comforting smile was drawn across his face. Hirosuke looked as if he was in the perfect pose to be holding a rose. He closed his eyes slowly

"If there is anything that you would like from us, I think I speak for most of us when I say that we will help..." he yawned.

Hirosuke opened his eyes and then rubbed the back of his head

"But Kyoshi-San does have a point...If that's what you want us to do...It won't so easy..." he yawned again, this time actually showing that he was very tired and bored.

"Well sure, it would be hard for one person to arrest someone, but with our combined powers, we the citizenry can maintain order! Why do you think I asked you people to come here?"

Yukari rummaged through her purse which was hanging from her chair and pulled out a bundled paper. She opened it up, showing that it was a very large road map of the Saitama prefecture that covered the rest of the table. She scanned the map, tracing her finger from a main street to the smaller road indicated by the police scanner.

"Around here eh? Ok then, that's our location for recon today! If this is gang activity, that means they will come back again. That will work to our advantage because we will be able to plan out our attack strategy! Let's go!"

"Wait just a minute." Dalcian said, stifling a yawn and shaking his head, obviously having just woken up...again... "You want us to go out and make citizen's arrests on gang members?" He sighed "Listen, Ms. Yukari, I get that you want to make the world or at least the Saitama prefecture a better place, but do you have a way that doesn't involve people getting shot and/or stabbed? Gang members have guns, knives, and assorted other means of making someone very dead very fast. We don't even have handcuffs, let alone guns or tasers, what are we supposed to be able to do? Hold them down and wait for the cops?"

((When Dalcian says Ms. Mr. or Mrs. I mean that he's switching over to English for that word then back to Japanese for the rest.))

Taiga leaned over his chair to peer at the map. He new the area that Yukari-sensei was pointing to, but it wasn't all that close. Like Dalcien siad, arrresting them would be hard, getting there would be another problem.

"Yukari-sensei," Taiga asked, "How do you plan to get there anyway?" He plotted out several routes on the map. "Do you think that we could walk there in time to beat the police?" Though he was saying it, he didn't think it was possible. And though he loved his Yukari-sensei, tangling with a bunch of gangsters wasn't at the top of his to-do list.

Yukari turned to face the doubtful club member and laughed hautily with her arms crossed.

"Do you think I was unprepared for a citizen's arrest against gang members?" she said, taking her purse and turning it over the map. A huge crash, or more like a series of loud knocks, accompanied the objects hitting the table. The pile contained many different kinds of self-defense weapons. A can of mace, a kubotan, several tasers and a compactable nightstick all fell out with a handheld mirror, a few pens and a wallet. She then quickly gathered everything but weapons from the pile.

"There. This should be enough to fight off a bear, two tigers and an elephant! Don't worry about transportation! I have a care big enough to carry all of us...I think."

"Ok," Taiga admited happily, "we have transportation and we have weapons. I expected Yukari-sensei to be prepared. That's why you're so wonderful sensei!" Taiga cringed inside. Apparently we're going through with this. *sigh* At least it's bound to be interesting (along with the added bonus of riding in Yukari-sensei's car!)

"Hey, wait!" Taiga realized. "We may have all these stuff, but it's still a bit extreme to face off with gun-totting gangsters with only mace and a few tasers!"

Hirosuke smirked a little bit and then stepped up so that his face was now right beside Taiga's face

"Are you...afraid...? Is that it?" he whispered in a tone that was very unlike him. This tone would send chills up anyone's spine. Hirosuke blasted himself backwards back onto his seat and then slouched a bit. He let out another yawn and then closed one of his amber eyes, the other one glowing brightly in the faint sunlight that had been coming in through the window

"In any case, I think it could be a bit fun..." he said, glancing towards Yukari-Sensei "Besides...Do we have much of a choice...?"

Dalcian, meanwhile, was eying the kubotan and the nightstick Or is it called a tonfa here? He wondered, picking up the ridged rod in one hand and the tonfa/nightstick in the other. He gave the nightstick a few practice spins and nodded, apparently satisfied with his choice, and set the kubotan down. "Dibs." He said in English, having not bothered to learn the Japanese translation when he was growing up. Besides, there was at least one other English speaker in the room so he wouldn't have to translate. "Bullets only fly in one direction, as long as you aren't in the way, you're safe. Just don't get shot, throw a rock one way and come in from the other." He shrugged "Besides, any gang running around in broad daylight like this can't be too intelligent."

OOC: sorry, I can't post yesterday cuz I can't connect to YCM

When the voice(from the black cube) suddenly appear, Raydoz turn his head to it. Something sounds like report is coming out, at first he thought that was a radio but hearing ithe report more longer, he doubt it is a normal one.

..We got a 10-4 on the fourth side street.

Roger that, this is unit A-8 heading to fourth side street.

Gang activity suspected. Approach with caution...

"What the ??? That is so a report about crime, when does the radio broadcast this thing... probably a story...." he thinks while looking at the Sensei and wondered "...who is she....she doesn't seem like a someone who repair electronic stuff..." many questions started to pop up in his head but he remain silent to see what will happen next...

Weapons started to drop out onto the table, he got up in a flash with the surprise look in his face. "Woah!" he yelled out. "Hey! Hey! Sensei, are we going to use those ? Emm, actually I don't mind helping...my dad would probably supports me to do so... he always say crime busting is a MUST do work...". He walks to the table where Taiga and Sensei is, looking at the map, he couldn't understand even a bit about it. He sugh and asked "Emmm, Sensei... I might need some guidance on what to do here, I'm still new to this area. Just asking, do they have info about what weapons they are bringing ? and...uh...what should I call you(to Dalcian) ? Anyway, you're right about the bullet thing but what about shot guns ?"

"Shotguns are too big to conceal in your clothes." Dalcian said "You'd have to carry around a duffel bag to conceal it, which would make the carrier or carriers stick out like a sore thumb. That's why the gang members are much better off just strapping on a shoulder rig or tucking it into their belts and letting their shirts cover it." He shrugged "Besides, handguns are easier to silence and don't have as much of a kick to them." He nodded "Yeah, there's almost no chance of these guys using shotguns... Though there's less of a chance of us beating the cops if we're just standing around here talking about it, Ms. Yukari."

"Oh, you got a point there!" turning back to Sensei, he asked again "So, are we going now ?". Pulling down his snow cap again, he walk a bit closer to Dalcian and asked yet, again "I thik you didn't hear me, what should I call you ? Seeing we will be club members, we should know each other. I'm Raydoz Blackmoon, nice knowing you =3 " with a smile. He added "So, the crimes is happening in the day huh, not too smart are they... Maybe this time is easy, don'cha think ?"

Hmmm, might as well try it, no harm can be done...hopefully...
