Ray was born with white hair due to a mix between his father and mother, even his parents are surprise. Although he didn't attend athletic activities that much, his muscle is well built from the various job he did with his father. He looks like an Asian but violet eyes. There is a scar on his forehead(Left side), he got it from a bike accident when he was little but it is usually covered by his hair. The scar is rarely seen by others as he let his hair grow long enough to cover it. He has an average body, his height is 5' 9". and weight about 170 lbs. He also wears a sliver cross necklace with his name on it given by his mother on his birthday.

 

Personality:

He is kinda lazy but he will do what he is ordered. Even though he has moved to many place with his father, he is happy as long as his father is pleased as he is the only family member left. He has a positive attitude to make new friends every time he moved to a new place/area/location. He rarely get mad even though he is teased. He doesn't speak much when there's no topic and he will answer with a nod or a shake when the question is simple. He always has a smile on his face every time he is with his friend. He is kind towards small animals like cats or dogs. He tends to lend a hand when someone is in need. Therefore, he always help his father when he needs a hand. Ray is also a cheerful person despite the gloomy face he show when he's alone.

[spoiler=[b]Affinity towards:[/b] Ancient Ice/Water Magic] Nobody know including Ray but he is a descendant of a Mage. Flowing in his vein is the blood of a ancient mage, not known by the people of the present time. With his magic, he will be able to manipulate Ice and Water at his will but the magic he can perform is limited to what he can think of(Imagination) and every time he use magic, his Mana(Stamina) will deplete making him fatigue. He can still use the magic even though he is tired(out of stamina) but the magic will consume his life force instead. This may result to coma or death if over use. To gain more stamina, he only need to simply train his body. For minor spells such as shooting an Ice projectiles, no chanting is needed but for major spells like exploding an area with water or such, a chanting will be needed. Simply put, powerful magic need chanting while basic magic doesn't. The chanting can be done even though the user is moving but it will be interrupt and the user will need to start over if he stop the chant for a second or was silenced during the chant.

 

Few magic the previous mage(the one before Ray) know will be pass to Ray when his magic awakes. This also means the magic that Ray know will be pass to his son(if any) and so on. The power of the magic is link to the emotion of the user. Emotions such as happy, enthusiastic, eager, rage, anger, sadness(depending on situation) and so on will increase the quality as well as the strength of the magic but fear will make the magic almost useless.

 

The magic can also be use to assist ally. This can only be done after they have form a pact(Like partners in battle). The magic's elements can be use to power up a weapon, that weapon will gain ice properties and will freeze upon impact.

-The magic will only be awoken when Ray is in peril and/or when he want to safe someone, it all depend on how he feels at that time.

 

-To form a pact, the mage and his ally(1 at a time) only need to make close contact such as hand shake, hug, stick palm to palm, back to back and so on after the mage chant. Depending on how close the contact is, the compatibility between the ally and the element will increase/decrease.

Name: Katsura Tsunesane 

 

Gender: Male

 

Age: 16

 

Appearance: His hair is very, very fine, and a bit long. His clean, black hair is fine and a tiny bit ruffled up all around. His hair reaches around the center of his forehead, with a bit if a bang in the right that reaches a bit lower, at about the eyebrow. The backside of his hair goes close to his shoulders, but gets messy around the limits of his hair. Lastly, he is 5'7 and weighs about 150 lbs. 

 

  His eyes are a mix of a metallic blue and silver, which give quite an odd color, overall. His eyes are basically a bluish, lustrious, reflective silver. On his face is always a look of boredom. Straight mouth, quarter closed eyes and light breathing. His skin is a pale beige, with almost no birthmarks visible on him.

 

  The first layer if his clothes is obviously his boxers and a black T-Shirt with bars if white and blue in many areas. On the T-Shirt is also a transparent gray "flower" shaped picture, covering around his heart. Over his T-Shirt is a long sleeved shirt that is a pure white, and random shapes and such of black spread around the shirt. There is, however, one special trait to this shirt. In the shape of a rib cage is a reflective, grey pattern. 

 

  He wears black sweatpants. The kind of sports sweatpants that have stripes going down them. These sweatpants, however, have zippers that go from his knees to the bottom of the pants. He keeps them zipped up until his ankles. On the right "sleeve" of his pants, the first half of the zipper is torn off in a way that looked like they were manually torn off. He wears the normal, white socks under black and white running shoes he tends to keep untied.  Over his shirt, he wears a thick, cotton (Possibly polyester) hoodie with an unzipped zipper. The hoodie is black with white "tear" (Tear as in "torn off") shapes all around. On the center of yhe backside of his hoodie is, in large, fancy letters "Reflect...". The word itself is in a very, very light grey. The word was made to be reflective to light.

Personality: He can tolerate just about anything. It's mainly due to his brother being ever so annoying, which forced him to become tolerable and accepting to many things. He keeps himself in a bit of a shell, though, which he himself dislikes. He can laugh at himself with complete ease, and fake a smile to get on with his life. Due to his extreme tolerance, he's also very forgiving, which is a reason people tend to take advantage of him. His true personality goes against how he was raised. He was raised to be tough, and to not take garbage from anybody, which is his opposite. Because he was supposed to become like this, he sometimes feels ashamed of himself, for letting his family down, which explains part of his "Shelled" attitude. His self-esteem is not too high, either, which also makes him mildly pessimistic. A lot of people may think he's weird, because he has different hobbies and interests compared to a normal person of his age. To add to aaall that, he has a small masochism issue, which he does his best to hide, also partially explaining why he doesn't care about being hit or pushed. It is a bit difficult to completely earn his trust, actually. Also, one who earns his trust keeps it, almost no matter what. What he would take action for, though, are his collectibles that are related to his hobbies; 

 

~You wanna steal his sharpener? Ok! Wanna steal his action figures? No way!~

 

Haha...Also, by today's standards, you could call him a bit of a Nerd. He enjoys playing trading card games, JRPGs, anime and the like. For him, mathematics are fun; especially functions and their rules.

 

   He's always told to, by his own family, that he should look at himself in the mirror and ask himself if he is what his family wanted him to be. What they wanted their legacy to be like. Actually, this has been going on since he was quite young, and also gave him a habit of constantly reflecting himself, as a person. 

 

   He gets quite shy around girls and tends to mumble or stutter around them. If he is spoken to by a girl, they normally can't hear or understand him, due to his mumbling. Socially, he's alone. The only person who accepts him is his brother, and maybe the few people like him. He has virtually no friends. Not even an acquaintance... 

 

Affinity towards: Imperfection and Reflection. His power has much to do with his past and how his family is dissapointed in him. The word reflect is made to represent his constant self-reflecting as a person. The power itself...Well, he can create reflections in virtually anything. Let's say you're driving and Katsura is right besides you, he could make the window you're seeing through become a mirror. Actually, that's only physically. The most he can do with this power (Physically) is make multiple reflections surrounding said target to confuse them. Lastly, he can show people their flaws, and why they are wring in any significant way. Most of the time, using his powers too much will make him quite dizzy, and, at times, he may even faint from overuse. The worst scenarios he can be forced into are multiple week comas and, if he reeeaaaalllyyy overexerts himself; death.

Gender: Male

Age: 15

The similarities between the two end at the body structure and facial features. Jun stands at 5'7, weighs roughly 145 pounds and has slightly wider eyes as a result of being bi-racial (Italian father, Japanese mother). Due to his fondness-borderline-obsession with the color blue (Which explains why he dyed a good portion of his hair the color), he wears a cobalt blue t-shirt over a black long-sleeved shirt and a black headband with snowflake designs on it. For his lower body, he wears dark blue jeans with a silver chain(souvenir from a trip to America) and black sneakers. He also wears a red fingerless glove on his right hand, a ring with a skull on it on his left middle finger, and blue DJ headphones around his neck.

 

Personality: Jun can be considered one odd guy. He is usually good-natured, cheerful, and laid-back, but he can also be fairly dark-minded and sceptic at seemingly random times. Despite this, he tries to stay optimistic and tries to find the comedy in things, as his favorite quote goes, "Life is not so bad if you have plenty of luck, a good physique and not too much imagination." He has a strong distaste for sugar-coating things and can be considered tactless, telling people what they need to hear instead of what they want. He also has a bad temper, and tends to get angered easily if someone insults him or his friends; He's also fairly violent, but only beats on people he deems bad, like bullies, and hates it when people pick on people weaker than themselves. He can be snarky and sarcastic at times, but that's only towards people who rub him the wrong way.

 

Similar to Taiga(props to Zaneko-sempai) he is first and foremost a fighter, but his fighting style is focused on his lower body, and protects his hands and arms. He chose this style because of two things that he knows, 1) The legs are stronger than the arms and hands 2) His hands wouldn't get hurt, he needed those to play the drums, which he loved to do. During a fight, his personality takes a complete turn, he becomes bloodthirsty, competitive and sadistic to a lesser extent. He is a rapid learner, and rarely needs anything explained to him three times.

His hobbies are snowboarding, parkour, playing the drums reading manga and watching anime, which he secretly worships. Fun fact: He can sleep with his eyes open.

Affinity towards: Sonokinesis. Like Adrienne, Jun boasts a psychic ability as well, though it is not telekinesis. His power manifests itself through the ability to control soundwaves, though it requires his nearly undivided attention, albeit his proficiency will increase with experience. At the most, he can create small sonic blasts of energy; the more sonic vibrations in the air, the more powerful the blast, but the more powerful the blast, the more fatigued it makes him. (If you need more explanation, tell me.)

@Saiba: Very good. Accepted. BTW though, no one has powers until a certain point in the plot.

 

@Raymond: Grammar errors are in the places that are detectable. When you refer to more than one subject ex. Parents, you use 'are' instead of 'is'. Also, you power being based in cards is not good for the plot. If your power needs cards, you won't get them in the plot. Could you please change your power into something not bound by objects?

 

@Borealis: Your app is good and power is creative. Accepted.

 

@JCBBaller: Bone Manipulation is so boring...Go find a better power please. The rest of your app is fine though, with one visible mistake. Its 'protrude' not 'portrude'. And also I don't watch Naruto or any anime that sucks and/or is mainstream Ex. Bleach, Death Note, Inuyasha and all that jazz.

((Earth is like a rock or a plant, it has to be natural, not processed like coins and rings etc. (he's probably gonna use a piece of quartz or some other unrefined gem that's fairly common) and air takes about three or so seconds of focus to draw in the power since he's not using a tangible focus. Same for aether, when he wants to "turn on" his power, he has to close his eyes (it's a mindset thing) and actively focus his will, though that will take slightly longer since he's not using anything to focus his powers except himself. Also, if it's OK with you, eventually I'd like to give him either the ability to use 3 at the same time (aether+either water or fire+either earth or air) but this will be down the line a ways, when everyone's fully mastering their abilities. Or, if you're not OK with that, could I upgrade his abilities down the line, earth adds in gravity manipulation, allowing him to increase (not decrease) the gravitational pull for a small area, air allows for line of sight teleportation or flight (45 mph, 50 if he pushes himself), water for healing (requires his patients wounds to be underwater), and fire allows him to transmit heat, enough to pop popcorn or burn someone would that be OK?))

Well earth could also include sand and dirt on the ground. It seems too powerful to have super strength when you have contact with any non-processed earth. Air needs another way to be activated, not just focusing, which I find to be a little cliche. Also, you can only have the Aether and Element combo, not three at a time. You can have the upgrades later on.

Dirt and sand are too fine, he needs something with more mass, like a rock, gemstone, raw minerals, ores, what have you, he can't just grab a handful of dirt out of the ground because that's not one substance, so it wouldn't work. Air, honestly, air I've got no idea anymore, so can you think of anything?

 

Also, he's not getting superstrength or superspeed, he's just getting the ability to push the limits of the human body, he's not gonna be able to keep pace with a NASCAR driver or kick through an armored car or anything like that, but a 4 minute mile and a 900 psi punch would be viable (that's just above the current world record in both)

I see. I guess the earth requirement is acceptable. For air, maybe contact with strong winds. I like the limits you placed though, being within the human ability. Only problem is that he's blind. I don't know whether a blind student can be taught at the same level as sighted students in a public school.

Well, for that issue, we can either A. deal with it in a believable manner (which might be a post hog so we should do it via PM) B. have them gain their abilities early on in the school year to make that problem more or less moot or C. ask people to suspend disbelief and move on. I'm favorable to enacting plan C, then B, then A, but it's your thread and if I have to I'll make him sighted (though I'll probably replace the aether element with either metal, allowing him to make pain and fatigue background sensations right away and generate magnetic fields later on, or void, which would give him an instinctual awareness of his surroundings (within a predefined radius) right away and dreamwalking/astral projection later on)

He weighs about 130lb and is about 5” 10’. He always wears his favorite blue jacket even it isn’t necessary. The pendent around his neck was a gift from his mother before she died. He is constantly adjusting his glasses and refuses to wear contacts. He has very pale skin due to staying inside all the time and reading.

 

Personality: Alex is the sort of guy that really like to go with the flow. He is the geek of the family and likes to do his homework and read in the corner. He always has books on him that might help out in a situation. Though he is very fragile he could whoop you in a game of smarts. He was born in America and was in the top of his class in middle school but his father had to move to Japan due to a job promotion. When he moved there he took an advanced placement test so, he was transferred to high school even though he was only half way through with 8th grade. Now a 13 year old 9th grader he is the smartest student in his class if not the school. But with being very smart he is very bored in school so he takes on hobbies afterward.

Affinity towards: Able to control the cells in his body. He can also use this power on other people so long that he is touching the bare skin of that person but he can only control the area that he is touching plus 3 inches of it. He can use this power to heal any injures he may take and it is easier to heal external wounds and placing his hand on the wound speeds the healing even more. Although he can’t create entire new limbs he can put “add-ons” to his body like webbed hands, sharper nails, hard skin, or fangs. This power pretty much puts tumors on his body and thus over use of it weakens it more and more and can even cause death. The normal duration of one enhancement is ½ hour and each additional one divides the time in half. And it usually take 2 minutes to change from one “add-on” to another.
