JD is limited.

The translation was Dragon of Justice. Judgement Dragon. Not foolish or mind crush.

 

I don;t know what to believe anymore, I searched that list for his kanji, and turned up empty, and either one could work really.

 

but whats true is the actual mag has 13 spots, original translation only has 12, so either they messed up, or they forgot one.

Ok, if they're going to limit charge, lumina, and necro gardna, and semi solar recharge and honest, and hit JD all at the same time, yeah, that's overkill. That would kill every pure lightsworn deck out there. Could LS engines mixed in with something else or Twilight survive? Of course. Pure LS is still playable, but not competitively. It couldn't keep up with BWs or Gladiators.

This list is the real deal. It's clearly V-Jump since it's like past list' date=' so side from a couple of mistakes this is the real thing.

I don't think anyone really does, nor do they really deserve sympathy since Konami basically did all they could to allow LS to thrive this format. However, Konami seems to lack of sense of balancing everything out. Instead, they revert to destroying powerful decks that are only out of control because of their own doing, and they kill the dominant ones and a few that might have a chance but always manage to leave one unaccounted so that that one deck becomes the new major power of the format. Of course, this is so they always have a major deck to rake in cash. It is a business decision, but that's how this goes down all the time. Like when Perfect Circle Monarchs were huge, then were taken down and Dark Armed Return reigned for a little while, and that got taken out and then TeleDaD owned everything. After TeleDad, remember that brief period after the first SJC of that format when everyone and their mother decided that Drain Dad was the best thing since sliced bread? That was almost all anyone ran. That was, of course, until Raging Battle came out, and Black Wings and Cat Synchro reigned supreme. Yeah, remember those days? When Delta Crow-Anti Reverse, which is like a 10$ card now, was like 30 bucks? DSF was even higher, and Arcanite Magician got a boost too? Oh no, then they decided to kill those (Ban DSF, limit Gale, limit Rescue Cat =O). Then Lightsworns and Zombies this format, with LS being the more dominant, and Twilight up there as well. Twilight and "Chaos" (if you can call it that) got big to the point that the Ultra Sorc in Turbo Pack 2 was up at 60 at first release and might still even be there (haven't cared to check lately).

Banning CED wasn't over kill because you still had BLS Envoy o.O And CED didn't need Yata. CED by itself was overpowered. Yata was just there to basically say, "In case you weren't sure that the game was over after getting hit by Emperor Dragon, you won't have any more cards for the rest of the game. GG"

I can't clearly see the kanji on the magazine. That's why I asked.

 

Anyways, with this I can safely say that Konami has strengthened Morphtronics, PTD Morphs, and Machines in general with these past few lists.

 

I am satisfied. More than, actually. With LS gone kaput (mostly), Zombies weakened (AGAIN), and strengthening of Machines, a Machine deck may hit the meta.

From what I can tell on the list JD is not their. It's hard for me to read the scans, and I'm only compairing the Kanji to the one wiki has, but I can't see his name. At the same time I can' Mind Crush any where. I do think that I see Foolish.

 

We will just need to wait and see.

You see in japan armageddon knight + necro gardna with triple burial was very popular. It ensures you don't lose to OTKs.

 

BftDD was the most played card if I'm not mistaken. LSZ was running 3, GYBF runs 3 and zombies ran 2-3. I'm glad it's over.

 

Also multiple Lumina coupled with Garoth is far more dangerous that JD. It could get you a couple cards along with some wulfs and necros. You'd get around +4 with this. Now with a single charge and lumina you solve this problem. Don't forget it will be harder to get 4 different LS fast for JD.

 

LS will need a different approach. Something less aggressive but more stable.

 

Plus, if you're not overextending JD shouldn't be a major problem.

It is a conspiracy, they cannot limit or ban Judgment Dragon because there are too many fans that obsess over the set and copy-pasta decks from online to use as their irl decks after begging their parents for money to buy it. So in short, Lightsworns took a hit, but are not dead yet.
