This is a RP basically about roman gladiators, please read plot..

Set in ancient rome, with a ruler called Julianus Victor, a band of gladiators try to overthrow the ruler.

The emperor had demolished the traditional ways of using the collaseum for gladiators, but the gods didnt like it...

The gladiators were to band together and kill Julianus Victor and all his men...with the gods on the gladiators side, who would win?

bio: Octavianus used to fight in the collaseum, he swore to destroy the ruler and his army as long as he lives. It wasnt the destruction of the tradition that annoyed him, it was the fact the gods were affended by it. He is a skilled gladiator and thinks greatly of himself. He is mostly kindhearted but if something stands in is was, he wot be happy.

He is deep friends with Octavious the gladiator but doesnt act friendly around him. Vitus is skilled with his spear and very defensive with his shield, he hopes he can change the emporors mind of banning of the use of the colloseum..

bio: Janaurius used to be a Roman soldier; until he was accused of treason. He was first sent to a dungeon, then sent to the gladatorial arena. He learned quickly, and his soldier background gave him an unfair advantage; of course, no one really cared about his background. That was six years ago. He now fights with the hope of some day escaping the arena, and killing his 'master.'

bio:Egnatius was saved when his dad almost killed him,his dad was executed,her mother died when Egnatius was born.He was trained as a gladiator,by his master,Hector.When he reached age 17,he started to fight for lis life in the arena.One day,his master told him that Egnatius shall be the one who kills his master.Then Egnatius swore he will kill his master when he will be ready.

bio: He was a soldier at birth. He was granted Julianus's royal guard. Nazar is very skilled, he started training when he was 5. Nazar stopped many enemies, and was granted royal guard when he was 25. Nazar's father died from murder, not knowing who did it he wants revenge. Nazar doesn't like gladiators so he watches them die a bloody and horrible death, he enjoys the shows, he watched them ever since he was 5, the shows inspired him to train.

IC: Vitus Titanius had been called to the emporor of rome at that current time, Julianus Victor. As vitus was one of his most trusted, he had been called there..

"Vitus Titanius...." the emporor, julianus victor welcomed "i have been expecting you...now i have a matter involving the colloseum and tradition to discuss..."

"please..do go on" vitus replied.

"well....you see, i am about to see to a new law about using the collaseum; by tradition; to be used as a gladiator arena.." the emporor continued,

"what does the law enforce?" Vitus asked..

 

"well.." Julianus smiled "it will enforce the fact that it wont be used as a gladiator fighting arena anymore..."

"bu-" vitus cried

"no buts...now as you are one of my trustworthy, i want you to see that all gladiators are disbanded and run along or they will be executed..."

Vitus sighed grr...sometimes i hate being ppart of the honour guard.....

"now hurry!" the emporor hurried him out of his room..

 

"c'mon!" Octavius Varius taunted in the arena as he battled a prisoner of the war that had just passed..

"grr!" the prisoner growled swinging his shortsword, the only weapon he had been given..

"that all you got!?" taunted Octavious, the gladiator again, he had a shortsword and a shield, he blocked the attack..

Octavious knocked the prisoner back with his shield and made a blow to the prisoners sword, knocking it out of his hand..

 

A roar went up in the crowd, sitting o the steps of the collaseum, Octavious stepped towards the prisoner as he crawled backwards towards the wall..

"aaahhhh!!" he cried as Octavious slit his throught with his sword.

"that is how to slay a prisoner of war!!" Octavious cried holding the head of the prisoner high, an uproar of cheer went up from the crowd..but the noise was silenced as a cart pulled by horses entered the arena, on it stood Vitus, a soldier and old friend of octavious..

 

"what is it?!" octavious asked throwing the head into the crowd..

"i have news from the emporor himself!" Vitus replied

"what news?" asked Octavious

"you gladiators are to disband at once, those who do not shall be executed!" Vitus said with soldiers entering the arena carrying spears, Vitus himself had a spear and a shield..

 

"but we gladiators cannot simply disband!" Octavious raged "it is tradition we use the collose-"

"the colloseum is no longer to be used for such fights!" Vitus but in "sorry but it is the word of the emporor himself!!"

"never!" Octavious replied "we must continue!"

A group of guards grabbed octavous by the arms and dtragged him towards the exit, octavious retaliated by shaking them off and killing them,

"i shall exit myself!" Octavios spat "you tell the emporor that we are not simmply going to fall back, he shall expect war!!"

 

Octavious went from the arena pulling his sword from a guards chest..That night thunder roared, lightning pulsed and rain lashed the ground..The tide from the sea crashed on the shore and waves pummeled the sands...the gods were angry....

The gladiator, octavious varius, went to a rock upon a cliff and wached the storm attack rome...

 

"i am sorry........friend.." vitus sighed walking up to him,

Octavious jumped and spun round pointing his sword at his chin,

"oh..you..." Octavious said grimly

"yes, i, vitus titanius!" vitus cried "your friend who helped you in that tight squeeze in the war, who saved you from execution many times!"

 

"do you not recall me saving your life many times?! blaming myself for something you did!" Octavianous argued "look what the emporor has caused" can you not see, the gods are angry!!"

"i see that, that is why i came here..i knew you would come here, every time you are upset you come to this spot.." Vitus sighed,

"i am more than upset! i am angry!" Octavious calmed down a bit "do you believe that this is the work of the emporor?"

"i find it hard to believe many things in these dark days... but i do know the emporor would not have done this, he must be posseded.." bitus sighed

 

"no, he is mental..." Octavious sat on the rock, not bothered if he slipped, "you should go, we should not be seen together, i am going to gather an army of gladiators and destroy this king, mental oor not..and you are a soldier.."

"indeed we should not be seen together.." vitus walked away..

Nazar looked out for intruders, when a peasant came to watch the show.

"Peasant, I have to check your carrage."

"Yes sir." Nazar was checking his carrage and found a weapon.

"Your good, be sure to throw that in with the gladiators."

"Will do." Nazar wanted to watch the gladiators kill each other but he also had to look out for intruders. He saw another peasant, "Alright let me check your carrage."

Octavious was having a rough time, he didnt want to anger the gods by not using the colloseum, but he dint want to be executed although he new he was too good a gladiator...it was day, he went to the colloseum and saw, they were still using the colloseum,

"hey you shouldnt use this place as an arena anymore!" Octavious called "do you want the emporor's men to have you executed?!"

 

"you try to save your people!" Vitus asked grimly "if you people dont leave this place at once you shall all be executed!!"

About 2 dozen soldiers with long spears and square shields came into the arena,

"you are outnumbered gladiators!" vitus raged "disband or be slaughtered!!"

 

"listen to him!" Octavious argued "but meet me fekllow gladiators!at the rock on the cliff!ill be there!!"

"your gladiator friend speaks wise!" vitus cried to the gladiators "leave now!its for your own good!!"

Octavious turned and walked out of the arena, and went the rock on the cliff, he had made a small camp near it, big enough for all the gladiators...

 

"dam emporor....gods angry......slaughter us...pah!" octavious mumbled sharpening his knife with his stone.."my fellow gladiators better come, if we are to defeat the emporor!"

Nazar was bored looking for anybody else wanting to see the colloseum, when he saw Vitus and his men. Nazar walked over there, "Sir is something the matter." Nazar continued looking through all of his men with battle ready armor and weapons, "Do you want me to help with whatever you shall be doing sire." Nazar was ready for both answers, Nazar wanted to know what was going on.

"the emporor commands that the colloseum should no longer be used for gladiator fights! and all gladiators shall be disbanded!" Vitus answered "if you would help get EVERYONE out of here, i mean apart from us until everyone else has gone!"

 

A gladiator(oviously new) ran up and tried to stab Vitus,

"peasent!" Vitus banged the gladiator on the head and stabbed his spar through his chest, he ulled it out and blood poured from the dead body of a former gladiator..

 

"let this be a warning!" Vitus raged "anyone who disobeys awaits this fait, LEAVE NOW!"

Nazar started getting everyone out, "Leave or you die!" Nazar had to kill a few because they were rioting. Nazar got everyone out and went back to Vitus, "Sire, shall I serve in a battle." Nazar spoke this because he saw Vitus's men ready for battle, "I shall be a great help, sir." Nazar was quite bored, he wanted the adrenaline rush of slaughtering an enemy.

Janaurius watched from afar as the emperor murdered a gladiator. That had been his friend, who had never fought in a battle once in his life. Thankfully, Jason had the experience of a soldier, and knew better tactics. Janaurius (hereon out called 'Jan' for short) stood from his crouched stance, and looked down at himself. He had managed to get out of the arena for a day; such hadn't been heard of before, but Jan had pulled some 'strings.' Jan felt the spear he kept on his back, and wished he could finish the emperor off now. But no, there were too many guards around, willing to sacrifice themselves for the fool. Oh well...Jan turned, and began making his way back to the arena.

IC: Vitus watched as the gladiators fled, some had to be slaughtered of course, for rioting...

"please, do not call me sire, or sir...i am just a soldier like you, maybe of higher rank but we are both soldiers.." Vitus asked "what is your name?and where did you get that armour? i havnt seen it before.."

Nazar said, "My name is Nazar Tikhon." Nazar continued, "My armor was made by my father, he died by a gladiator, he used to wear this armor." Nazar wanted to battle so he said this, "Is there any battle taking place, that I can be in." Nazar persuaded, "I'm a really skilled warrior, plus I want to take my father's honor back from those retched gladiators!" Nazar looked behind him also and he also saw a gladiator fled, from a distance.

"theres no battle taking place at this moment...although i herd Octavious Varius saying there might be a war...maybe in a couple of days there might be a battle you can fight in, but for now..kill any rioting gladiators!" Vitus explained looking at the top of the steps on 1 side of the cololoseum, there stod octavious...

 

"octavious varius...." Vitus mumbled...

 

Octavious walked down the steps and out of the colloseum, on the way out a soldier tried to kill him, he slaughtered the soldier..Octavius told every gladiator he saw on the way to the rock about his plan, he said to go to the rock on the cliff, for he made a camp there(i said in other post about camp)...When octavious got to the camp it was dark, he lay rest for the night..

Egnatius was sad because of the ending of the colloseum battles"darn...,I wonder why..."He was sad and furious at the same time.Then he started to go home,when he reached his home,his master was waiting."Son,I heard about what happened,I'm sorry.Master,it's not your fault.The emperor wanted this,but the gods are furious,they didn't wanted this fate."But then..."Hey YOU!!!!Come out!!!"Called a soldier Egnatius,ready to kill him."What do you want???"Asked Egnatius."i will kill you!!!"Said the soldier.The battle began.Egnatius's master was watching the battle,without asisting Egnatius.Egnatius sttabed the soldier in his left leg,then his right hand."I will give you one more chance.Get out of HERE!!!"Said Egnatius,watching how the soldier was running.

Vitus had a soldier running to him with a stab wound in his leg,

"sir!a, gladiator!" the soldier cried,

"i told you NOT to attack gladiators unless they are rioting!!" taged vitus, slaughtering the soldier..oh my god! ive slaughtered on e of my own!

 

vitus went to the gladiator, he was in a house, he barged in with 2 soldiers at his side..

"whom is the gladiator!who stabs a soldier in the leg?!" Vitus questioned "you'd better get out of rome! or go get a hiding spot! unless you leave now you shall be slaughtered by the whole of the emporors finest!"
