I think is rather clear that I like Assassin's Creed... ;P

I absolutely love the story... which caught me off guard when I played both AC and ACII since I was actually on the side of the Templars (I'm a fan of The Da Vinci Code and pretty much anything historical about the Knights Templar).

As much as I like their cause I would never stand with the Templars.

I agree with you. After looking at it from a different perspective... I've developed some doubts.

It is righteous but I and everyone else are so greedy that we wouldn't want to give away our "freedom".

I don't think that is greedy at all. Trust me... there are plenty of people out there you can ask and they will tell you that their freedom is the last thing they would give away. I'd be one of those persons to tell you that.

On the contrary' date=' Your freedom is a small price to pay for the welfare of everyone on the planet isn't it? Yet you would never give it up.

Compared to all the inhabitants of this planet, it is. But it all starts with one. And then it all adds up. Suddenly, that price of freedom sky rockets when you have more and more people losing that right. That's why so many of us safe-guard our freedom... for the safety of everyone else. Of course, not a lot of people see it that way but we're all connected, in that sense.
