"First of all who gave you permission to call me that?!" he yelled because the thing was he used the name Kira for a reason because Kira means killer and he wanted his pack to know that if they broke the rules they risked death, "Wait a minute, that is not important right now. I demand you tell me what happened out there!" he yelled he was even for furious because she called him that hateful name and acted like nothing happened, "You should have known I would find out about this, how you did that to that man!"

Jason wrapped his arms around Dominique's shoulders. His eyes slanted downward. "And what, exactly, are you talking about? I have done nothing, and neither has Dominique. We were simply celebrating our anniversary in this cabin!" Jason stopped, and took a breath. He was letting his temper get the better of him. "I am sorry, Toua. I did not mean to shout at you. As you can tell, I am a little 'out of it', and my leg just isn't helping me."

"I am so sorry, sir. We were...engaging in strenuous physical activity...when we caught the scent of a hunter. We fled, only to fall into the trap of another hunter. Self-defense was our only option, especially after the wound that Clawfang received. I simply defended myself and my packmate by ridding the world of one less hunter. If anyone asks, it will look like a bear attack or something."

"Did I say I cared what it looked like?!" he snapped, "If you could sneak up behind him to put your claw through him then you could have simply knocked him out, and ClawFang did you just try to lie to me?!" he yelled anyone could tell Kira was furious because this was the most he talked to anyone in the pack except his sister for months, and he usually only talked to somebody if they broke the rules. "After tonight you will be punished!" he informed them.

"This may be a bad time to ask, but could you and your sister be our best man and bridesmaid at our wedding? I just proposed to Jason, and he said 'yes'! We're getting married!"

Dominique turned her head and kissed Jason passionately.

Jason pulled Dominique in closer. "Dominique is right! This act was done in self-defense. If Dominique had not attacked the hunter, I would probably be dead." He squeezed Dominique's shoulders. "I told you otherwise because I only wish for no harm to befall my mate; for she did only what she thought was right. If you must punish someone, punish me. I am the one who caused Dominique to attack the hunter. If I had been smarter, I would not have gotten hurt, and that hunter would not have been wounded.

"Thank you for giving me the perfect way to punish you!" said Kira in an evil tone because he was thinking about separating them while they were under his jurisdiction, "For now on until I say other wise you are forbidden to be together while you are in this forest!" he commanded, "...And your wedding will not take place until I say so either!" he added, he was going to make them pay for making them look no better then the Dark pack.

Dominique started to tear up.

"But...we've only...been engaged...for 5 minutes..."

She ran back into the house, jumped onto her bed, and cried into a pillow, yelling French obscenities into the silk. Her wonderful night, the greatest night she had ever had as a werewolf, came crashing down on her.

((Yeah you probably should have seen that coming and the wedding was called off partly due to the fact that he only lets his sister call him Toua he hates it when others of his pack call him that and she called him Toua-chan, but good picking up on the Japanese name, nobody calls him Toua unless he lets them by saying they can...))

"You should know I am strict when it comes to the rules what happened could have been avoided, but no you had to make us look as low as the Dark pack, you are Betas so you have greatly damaged the pride of our pack, so you are lucky I did not just decide you were traitors because you do know what happens to traitors since you carried out some punishments on traitors..." he left that unfinished knowing that they knew traitors only had one thing to look forward to and that was death. "Be happy that guy didnt die otherwise it would be over for you two!" he warned.

Jason glared at his alpha. His fists shook in anger, although he took no action, and would take no action, against his alpha. "Just...allow me to say goodbye. And to prepare her...and me for this punishment. Tell me one thing. How long will you have us separated? How long will I have to endure? How long until I am allowed to be happy again?" A pained expression painted itself on Jason's face as he thought of what he was going to have endure. He looked imploringly at Kira.

Travis nosed Danni's leg a few hours after they ate. She focused on her typing and didn't react until he nipped her.

"Ow!" She gasped before looking down at him. "What do you want?" He whined softly. After taking care of him for overten years, Danni was good at translation. "If you want to run, go. Just don't be seen. I've got to finish this project tonight, so don't bother me when you get back." Travis nodded and snuck out the back.

Danni tried to get back to her work, but couldn't focus. She get thinking about Travis, well Seer in his wolf form, running through the forest, imagining herself running beside him.

Travis ran softly through the alleys, sticking to the shadows. As soon as he reached the forest, the increased his speed. Sprinting just as quietly throught the moonlit forest. He heart was light. After all, Kira-Teichou-dono had hinted that he would be promoted to a position delta soon. A shiver of excitement ripped through his fur. Nothing could spoil this night!

Kris, well Hunter, yawned. The night was coming to a close and he had found noone from the Dark pack, his pack. He could smell his Mate but could not pinpoint her location. He could smell alot of his Pack but not a single one could he pin point. He was about to howl when he smelt Blackclaw. He growled and raised his hackles. Then he smelt youth and recklessness. "A pup, an old one, probably just becoming a delta, but still a pup." He sighed. He could out run, out match and out everything a pup but still didn't want to elevate the already tenuous stress between the two clans. He walked on ahead, silent in the night.

Veronica, as she was known in her current form had decided against calling the Dark Pack together on this night, but as thier alpha, thier leader, she would have to act soon, they needed to move, first thing tommorow night it would start. She glanced up and saw but the first few rays of sunlight, starting to emerge, as she made her way through the city streets back to her home, she rounded the final corner before ariving at a two-story building made up of wood, an older-style house that was perfect for Veronica. It's pure size allowed for three other pack members, or breeding pairs to stay there in comfort, given that she and her mate would only use a single bedroom. All the same though, she now needed to rest, she entered te building, walking straight past the eligent furniture of the living room. she asscended the starecase and gave a sheepish yawn, once at the top of the starecase, she turned into the master bedroom, which featured in it's self a large king bed with black silk bed clothes. In the shadowy ilumination of the morning sun, You could see how bare the room seemed, it did house a deep cupboard, as well as a dresser , playing home to a few perfume bottles. There were also two bedside tables, but a side from that, the room was devoid of anything of intrest. Veronica threw the curtains closed blocking the sunlight before she laid herself doen in bed, tucking herself in tight and thinking about the comming events.

Luke glanced around idly as he entered the woods. He held three shining little pellets, beveled at the tips and flat at the bottom in his teeth as he made a series of complex movements with a strange item in his hand. Swatches appeared and disappeared, panels shifted, a hilt came into existence and was torn apart, before finally combining into a strange whole, a barrel with a leatherbound grip hanging off it by a barest thread.

 

With the back of the barrel exposed to him, Luke nodded and carefully withdrew with three silvery objects from his death, edging them carefully into the complex chambers of the clockwork device. With a snap he pulled it shut, revealing a single weapon; It resembled a handgun, though the end of it was obtuse and trumpeted like a flower, shining with the color of old irony polished to perfection.

 

It was the pride of the Witchhunter's Army. The Silver Thundergun- only eight had been made worldwide, and the majority of them were in secret collections now. Sold to a proper museum, it might not fetch millions, but several hundred thousand for sure in proper money. On the black market, however, it was vaguely useless. Nobody cared about the relic from the past of occultist monarchical era Britain, and its use was quite limited when used against things other than the forces of evil.

 

That said, Luke would not be caught dead without it. It was almost as valuable as his pocket lighter, which he carried with him absolutely everywhere. Can't burn a witch without a lighter, that was his motto.

 

Of course, he wasn't planning on going hunting for witches this day, he thought to himself as he carefully scanned the night trees, holding tightly the highly complex and powerful Thundergun, armed with its silver bullets. Today, he was Wolf Huntin'. There were complains of werewolves capturing and eating humans in these parts... while some might expect it was the work of a serial murderer, or just a tall-tale told by a small village to increase publicity, he knew better. He knew it was the forces of Darkness at work.

Red sighed as she made her way to the forest encampment that she generally stayed in. While she did hold onto human property she could use, she honestly preferred to stay transformed as much as possible. Blending in with humanity always seemed counterproductive to her, and in the worst possible scenario, she was afraid their natural ungracefulness and boorishness could rub off on her. Besides, it was always handy to stick around the Forest; being a medic, she went where there were injured members of her back, and that happened overwhelmingly more in their forest territory than in their human shapes.

 

Besides, there was just something more... serene... about sleeping against the soft beat, on the beads of moss, among the flowers and trees. What was the use in using human property when you could make do perfectly well with what you already had?

 

She glanced around sadly. These were her trees... her moss... her rocks... it was her land. She remembered growing up here, learning to hunt, learning to heal... all within the leafy boundaries of the forests. She hated the Blackclaws for trying to make them leave. These forests belonged to the Darkpack, who grew up in their boughs and under the shadows of the same trees that the Blackclaws did... they had peace for so long, why change the dynamic now?

 

Greed, she decided. Greed and bigotry. The BlackClaws wanted more land, any fool could tell that, and while their grudge against DarkPact for eating humans probably wasn't completely unjustified, their method of going about it was simply unacceptable. Who did they think they were, anyway? Darkpack had as much right as they did to this land. Couldn't they simply let things be as they are?

He hated punishing his pack but he must enforce the rules and punish those who break them or else their would be no order and they would be just like the Dark pack. After giving out the punishment Kira walked off without even answering ClawFang.

Taiga was bored once again and decided to go to Aura's cabin mainly because she felt like it and would do as she wanted no matter what anyone but her brother told her even ignoring her brother at times. When she arrived she heard Aura crying and thought this might be good for her, her meaning Taiga as from what she heard Aura and ClawFang had broken rules and were suppose to be punished. "Hey, Aura what is going on?" questioned Taiga.

Dominique continued to sob and moan as she turned to face Taiga.

"Your brother...he...(sniffle)...he forbade me...and Jason...(sniff)...from seeing each other...and marrying...(sniffle)...until he said so!!! All because...I killed a human...(sniff)...who would have killed Jason...if I didn't!!! It's not fair!!! Don't we have...(sniffle)...self-defense rules...or something?!? I was...(sniff)...protecting my mate!!! My one true love!!!"

She launched herself at Taiga and cried into her shoulder.

"I can get you out of this but my services are certainly not cheap..." smiled Taiga thinking about how she might gain from this situation. "I am willing to get you off the hook but in return you must give up being the Beta Female so I can take your place, okay?" asked Taiga, "I dont mean now but perhaps within the next few years..." she explained, "But then again it is up to you after all..." she finished, then started thinking how this could really give her power and bring her closer to being the Alpha Female one day.

Hunter sighed. He'd caught the smell of his mate again, but she was in human form. "It is sunrise." He sighed as he loped over to a small clump of rocks. He moved the rocks and grabbed the little bundle in between them. He transformed and quickly put on his clothes. He put on his gloves and yawned. "Time to go then." He sighed as he ran off towards an appartement. He arrived outside the door and knocked. "It's me." He shouted in.

Jason walked out of the forest. He was angry enough now that he didn't give a damn about his alpha's rules. As he left the forest, he looked back. He couldn't see any of his pack-mates, even though he knew they were in there. He shook his head in frustration. He was going to go 'talk' to that stupid hunter, the one who had caused Jason's and Dominique's pain. As he approached the town, he stopped at an antique store. He walked in, and walked up to the lady at the counter. After a quiet conversation, Jason walked out of the store, carrying a Chinese war dagger. It was for defense, he told himself. He walked into the town, and turned toward the hospital. He took his time; the hunter couldn't go anywhere. Jason slipped the dagger into his shirt, ignoring the looks that people were giving him. All he cared about right now was that damn hunter.

He seen what Jason was doing and could tell he was not planning on anything smart, so he went after him to stop him. He got right behind Jason, "Remember this if you do anything stupid the punishment you have now will seem like nothing, and if you don't learn your place and follow the rules then you are not fit to be a Beta and if he dies, from something you do then I swear to god that nothing will stop me from taking either you or her out for good..." he threatened and warned in a whispering tone, then he disappeared into the crowd.

Dominique thought about Taiga's offer, but Dominique's own plans were to become an Alpha herself and be able to rule alongside Jason.

"Can I think about it for a while?" she asked.

Then, she decided to call Jason, and tell him the proposal.

"Mon amie, we might have a way out of this!"

Jason turned, but saw nothing of the one who spoke to him. No matter...nothing mattered now, not even the stupid humans. He spoke out loud, and although the one who had spoke to him was not there, many heads turned. "I am not doing something stupid; I am simply going to visit the hunter that my mate attacked. I planned on having a conversation with him, maybe even reasoning with him and making him stop hunting." Jason got closer and closer to the hospital, and then froze. There were metal detectors on the outside. Damn, now what am I gonna do? Jason stood, looking at the hospital, until he got an idea. He remembered how Dominique had managed the half-wolf, half-human, form. Maybe, if he could manage it, he could scale the walls, and enter directly into the window of the man's room. It's worth a try, he thought. He concentrated, and scrunched his eyes shut. He focused all of his efforts into the change, and grunted aloud some times. People looked at him awkwardly, but again, he paid them no attention. He felt a tingling as his features altered slightly. Suddenly, he heard Dominique's voice. He answered her. "If you have a proposal to get us out of this, tell me, please!"

"This is the best you can get because judging from where Jason went after he left here he will have no chance at being an Alpha ever and he might have jeopardized his chances at staying a Beta even and he might get removed from the pack if he does anything to rash, and besides I wont be keeping this offer up for long and by that I mean make your decision now because after this my offer goes out the window..." warned Taiga she may have been harsh but with good reason she had to get the deal sealed now because if she waited it might be to late for even her to do something.

Dominique proceeded to tell Jason everything Taiga had told her.

"So, I am willing to step down as a Beta in the near future to keep you in the pack and maintain your chances of becoming an Alpha. I want you to succeed where I failed."

"Where is he now, ClawFang now because if he went to the hospital he already got his second warning when my brother would have approached him in human form so if he continued after that then even he might not be able to proceed to become an Alpha and my be limited at Beta but that would be better then nothing am I correct?" asked Taiga as she sat down to relax a bit because this should go according to her plan if something doesnt happen to screw it all up.
