((NEVER!!!))

((OK. Maybe in a little while...))

Dominique carried her love to the waiting car, where Tanya was talking on her cell. "Yes, sir, we're on our way....Uh huh....Got it....Tell Master Radu that his car is in one piece....Bye!"

She closed the cell phone, and sighed, slumping back into her seat

"Here's the sitch, boys and girls. Dominique's old man wants us back in Quebec pronto to negotiate the terms of their surrender with the twins. Capishe?"

Jason grumbled quietly as he was carried to the car. As soon as they reached it, he jumped out of her arms. Landing, he winced, then limped over to the car. He waved. "Hey Tanya. How're you?" Grinning, he opened the back door to the car, and opened it. Pausing, he turned back to Dominique. "Hey, sweetie. Did the doctor give you the information about the human that I asked for? I forgot all about it, and left without telling him." He looked into Dominique's eyes, to try and see if he could tell her answer before she said it. With a sigh, he shook his head. She's as impossible to read as ever...

Dominique reached into the backpack she had on and handed Jason a vanilla folder. "Here you go. Now, we have a lot to discuss in the car." They got in and Tanya stepped on it. Once Tanya was on the highway, Dominique kissed Jason passionately before retracting from the embrace. "I'm not as mentally stable as I should be..." Dominique admitted. "I'm 'going feral' as the doctor put it."

Jason accepted the folder, and kissed Dominique as she kissed him. When she pulled away, he was about to open the folder, when Dominique told him about her 'condition.' He blinked, and looked back up at her. "Going...feral?" he asked. Again, he blinked in confusion. He'd never heard that phrase before, but just the way Dominique said it made him shiver. He scooted over closer to her. Pulling her into a hug, he whispered, "Whatever is happening, I will always stay by you...Now, tell me what you mean, 'going feral'."

Dominique sighed as she started to explain. "'Going feral' is rarely heard of from natural zoanthropes, but is relatively uncommon among afflicted zoanthropes, like me, especially if our animal half is predatory. Essentially, it refers to an imbalance between the human and animal sides of the person that results in the animal side becoming more and more prominent, until they snap, and become cannibalistic, and going after humans. Since they no longer see themselves as human, consuming human flesh is seen as the ultimate method to distance themselves from what they used to be. The Dark Pack is mainly composed of these kinds of people. Those that manage to tame their inner beast, or at least sedate it, become nomadic, forming actual "packs" that wander around a specific territory, hunting anything meaty. However, a select few can completely master their beast, and are never plagued by it ever again, as long as they avoid any meat or blood."

"Now, there are certain stages of this mental breakdown. The doctor has given me a guide, and what I can do to try to get the best possible outcome. Do you want to hear this?"

Jason squeezed Dominique. "Tell me everything. You have to live with nothing alone. No matter what happens to you...if you turn into a monster, if you turn into a bug, if you turn into an old woman...no matter WHAT happens, I will always be with you. I want you to be able to tell me everything. Don't worry; I understand exactly what you're saying." He tapped his head. "I'm smarter than I look." Again, Jason pulled her into a close embrace. "Please...tell me everything. I want to hear it all."

Dominique hugged him, though that was made difficult by the car, before continuing. "There are 4 stages of this deterioration. The first stage was the simple infection and transformation into a zoanthrope. Each person has a different way to cope, such as eating a bunch, finding a hobby, getting incredibly horny, or attaching onto another person, usually aanother of their kind. The second stage is usually induced through some sort of rage-induced event, such as seeing a friend die or killing a human. This is categorized by abrupt personality changes, such as shifting diets to eat more meat, and having a much shorter fuse. The afficted also starts to crave live meat, with live human meat being at the top of the list, though he or she doesn't know that human meat is what they tuly desire. The third stage is the actual mental breakdown, with hallucinations, paranoia, inability to control shapeshifting, bouts of anger, and an intense bloodlust. Once the victim has started consuming human flesh, they have reached the fourth and final stage, becoming feral. There are varying degrees of ferality, but all of them have extremely short tempers, an uncontrollable need for sex, and the desire to eat humans."

"I'm currently in Stage Two, and the doctor has no idea how long it wil ltake until I reach Stage Three. He says there is a chance that I will wimply stay at Stage Two, but it is more likely that I will reach an in-between mark between Stages Two and Three."

Jason nodded. After a moment, he pulled the papers out of his manilla folder, and inspected them. Nodding, he put the papers back in the folder, and set it down on the chair beside him. Turning to Dominique, he squeezed her hand. "So...why are you in Stage Two? According to the papers, thankfully, you haven't killed that human. And...you haven't watched anyone die, have you? Is it...is it possible that you killed somebody before I knew you? Or is it the anxiety and apprehension that I keep causing you?" Pausing, Jason looked out the window. Maybe...maybe I really need to leave. If that would be what it takes to save her, I would gladly do it. He sighed, wondering, and watched the buildings fly by.

"It was that hunter..." Dominique explained. "I TORE OUT HIS JUGULAR VEIN!!! It was a miracle he survived that! I only wanted to protect you...and seeing you get shot...Doctor Frankenstein said it was a combination of those two factors that resulted in me going into Stage Two. I'm now eating meat, even though I'm a vegetarian, I get angrier more easily nowadays, I don't use French as often anymore, and I can't seem to transform like I used to. I have almost all of the symptoms of this stage."

Jason shook his head, still looking out the window. He blinked, as a small tear rolled down from one of his eyes, but he ignored it. "So...it is my fault that you have fallen into this state." He wiped the tear away, and turned to face her. Jason stared at her, for maybe five minutes or so. Then, with a sudden rush of emotion, he scooted quickly over, and grabbed her in a tight embrace, crushing her in his arms. "I know...that I caused this, and I am...soo...sorry. Did...did the doctor tell you how you could...cure...yourself?"

Dominique was always a bit surprised at what Jason would do for her. She wept happily as she looked through the guide some more. "This guide has several tips on how to slow the progression for now, such as doing something that I would like, and overall making sure I don't get stressed or angry. Stopping the progression, however, and even reversing it, will require me to go to a special center the Foedus has to re-educate zoanthropes that have gone feral. I will be given a bit higher priority and a little less of a hard time due to my status in the Foedus and my current mental state."

Jason smiled as he saw the tears of joy fall from her eyes. He smiled too, glad...for no apparent reason. He read the guide over her shoulders as she read it. He grinned when he saw the part about slowing down the process. Growling playfully, he laughed. "I know some things that you would like." Suddenly, pain washed over his body, and he fainted. When he woke up, Dominique was looking at him worriedly, and Tanya was eying him cautiously through the mirror. He waved them away. "It's...nothing. So...let's focus on doing things you like, shall we?"

Jason nodded. Then, a smile lit up his lips as a thought came to him. He laughed. "Well...I specialize in, as a movie character once said, 'aggressive negotiations'." He looked past Dominique, out the window. The outside world was blowing by in an ecstatic rush, but inside the car, everything seemed peaceful. Suddenly, Jason winced, and pain stabbed through his chest. He looked down to see a dark red splotch appear where Sabre's large canines had punctured him. He tried to ignore it, and quickly averted his gaze to Tanya in the front. "How much sooner until we reach their location?"

Dominique took off her shirt and used it to tighten Jason's wounds, leaving her with only a white lace bra. "Tanya, how soon will we be there?"

"Shortly." Tanya grunted as she swerved to avoid a tractor-trailer.

The lights in the room that Taiga and Toua were kept in came on, revealing that the two of them were inside of a massive warehouse. Alexandre stepped forward, with several armored vehicles behind him.

"Good evening. I hope I didn't disturb you, because we have decided to open negotiations with you two."

>Taiga<

"Well that it nice of you but so you know we are not offering anything but an alliance. You may also want to know why my brother is like he is, he has completely lost his human side once and completely gave into the beast, so I am afraid of it happening again so please be careful not to get him upset, that way he doesnt go berserk again...lets just say it took me awhile to calm him down so he could interact with humans again..." explained Taiga

Jason gasped, first in pain and then relief. Try as he might, he could not get Dominique to leave his wounds alone. Jason kept his eyes down, not staring at Dominique's almost exposed chest. Deciding it would be pointless to try and fight her anymore, he let himself go limp, letting her put the bandages on. With a huff of resignation, he glared (playfully) at his mate. "You really aren't one to give up, are you? You just want to keep working, no matter how difficult the task gets, until it's complete?...Good, because I feel the same way." As soon as he could, Jason pushed her down, pinned her arms, and kissed her, deeply and extremely passionately.

Dominique returned the affection, even reaching down to unbottuon Jason's pants, until Tanya stopped her. "Hell, no! Not in Radu's baby! We have about 15 minutes until we get there! You can hold it in!"

Alexandre shook his head. "Unfortunately I am merely presiding over the negotiations. You see who exactly we have selected as our representatives soon enough."

Jason chuckled quietly, and pulled Dominique's arm away from his pants. "Like she said...we can wait." He kissed her again, but had to struggle to pull back away. He took a look over their current appearances, and couldn't help but laugh. "This is going to be an interesting negotiation, isn't it? An Alpha male and his sister, talking to a half-dead, bloody beta and his half-naked mate. Do you think we should clean our selves up a bit before we go and talk to them, or do you think we'll be fine?"

((Longer posts, FF))

Jason laughed. "I didn't think of that." Glancing down at himself, he blushed. Around his stomach was a now-bloodied blouse, courtesy of Dominique, and covering the rest of his body were various bloodied bandages. He blushed sheepishly, and looked at Dominique. "I guess we should go to the safehouse and change. It would just be really embarrassing if we talked to Toua and Taiga looking like this. And...then after we talk to 'the Twins', we can go back to the safehouse, and take care of some...unfinished business." Growling playfully, he kissed Dominique, squeezing her tightly as he did.

Dominique moaned softly, but received a backhand upside her head. "What did I just tell you?!?" Tanya growled. "No sexy time in Radu's car! You can have your fun when we get back in a few minutes. I'll notify the others that we got caught in traffic. Good thing I can disable the GPS tracker on this car." Tanya snickered at a sudden flashback. "Anyone wanna hear about the time I snuck this car out for a night on the town? Its pretty good..."

Jason laughed as he watched Dominique get slapped, then grimaced when he got the same treatment. He peered out the window; he didn't see any traffic, but then again, he didn't know much about Canada at all. "Sorry," he said apologetically to Tanya. Then, with a grin, he turned back to Dominique. "We'd love to hear about your flashback, Tanya." Then, he leaned in closer to Dominique. He whispered softly to her, "Maybe she'll get real caught up in it, and...forget...about us."

Tanya slapped them both again. "Not a chance." She decided to start. "It was about a year ago when I finally got some schematics for Radu's new car. I figured out how to hotwire the security system, disengage the GPS, and make it seem like it was still in its parking place. I finally got out on the highway, and I was driving along when-"

Tanya's phone rang, interrupting the story. Ironically enough, the ringtone was "Decode" from the Twilight soundtrack. "Hold on. It's Radu. I have to take this." She started to prattle away on her cell, avoiding the traffic as she did so.

Jason chuckled as he was whacked again. Then he felt the top of his head. "Jeez, Tanya, you hit hard." He scooted closer to Dominique, and squeezed her tightly. He cast a furtive glance up front, and watched Tanya talk on the phone. "We promise we won't do anything sexual while we're in the back of the car, Tanya." Then, he turned, and kissed Dominique, again holding her down. He pulled away, panting. He whispered quietly to his mate, "But that doesn't mean there are other things we can do for fun."
