As the dark fog descended on Neo Domino City, Nicki was on the road riding her D-Wheel. The royal blue paint with gold trim had brightly reflected the street lights, yet the fog had dimmed this effect. Her long blonde hair was not contained within her blue helmet and it waved in the wind behind her as she drove. Not too many people were out on the street at this hour, making the night only eerier. As the fog reached the ground it thickened, thus reducing visibility. Due to impaired vision, Nicki decided to slow her D-Wheel down and proceed at a slower rate.

 

I have a bad feeling about this, she thought as she averted her eyes from the road and glanced at her right arm. It was covered by her jacket and gloves now, but underneath the clothing, on her arm, was the mark of the Crimson Dragon. Fate had chosen her as a signer, one with the ability to harness the power of the Crimson Dragon to do good in the world. It all came to her in a vision one day during a riding duel not too long ago. Nicki was pitted against a villainous man who wished to bring harm to her in one way or another, and she convinced him to agree that if she won against him in a riding duel, she could go as she pleased. As she was about to lose, she was able to make a comeback by using her favorite card: Aurora Dragon. As she executed her move, the glowing claw mark appeared on her arm and she had her vision. Through this phenomenon, she saw the past. Everything about signers, their power, and, of course, the dark signers.

 

Now she was on her way to try to find out who the other signers were and form a team with them to bring on the impending threat of the new dark signers. This fog settling already, she thought, is a sign that they've been chosen and are here now. I have to hurry and find out who has the mark of the head so he or she can lead us against them. This vision had also shown her that usually the signer who bears the mark of the head has superior leadership skills; the kind needed to defeat such an enemy as the dark signers. But where to find such a person?

 

I have to find out who uses dragon cards, Nicki thought. But any Joe Shmoe can use dragon monsters. No. I need to look for powerful Synchro dragon cards. They should have 2000 attack points at the very least. I know my Aurora Dragon has 2700. But I just don't know where to look! They could be anyone! Looking at big tournaments won't cut it. I have to either go by street rumor or even... She passed two officers detaining a man with a gun. Sector Security...

Michico was driving through the city on her duel runner.

It was black,mixed with white.(it wasn't a dark signer duel runner)

She was driving around,with her duel disk attached to her arm,in case of turbo duels.

She was going pretty fast.

She suddenly did see some other guy driving on a duel runner.(her dark signer symbol is on her back,you cant see it except without clothes :P)

"Lets look if it is a duelist"Michico thought.

She did accelerate with her d runner,so she did drive next to the guy.

"Hello there."she said.

It sounded calm and friendly,and clearly hearable.

Dylan was riding on his D-Wheel when it happened. He sensed something was wrong, but he didn't know what. "Why is my arm hurting?" he said. "It feels like its trying to warn me about something! But what?". He saw a D-Wheel that crashed and braked the throttle. Sector Security... he thought. Well it was lucky they found him.

Nicki glanced over at Michio. She was on a black and white duel runner, and looked friendly and harmless enough. Nicki had become a little paranoid at this point for she had no way of determining if the person was on her side or not; whether the person was a signer or a dark signer or neutral. The only way this could be determined is if she were to challenge the person to a duel, and if she did so and the person was a dark signer, and she was not prepared, it could mean losing her soul to the shadows.

 

Nicki resolved to be careful at this point. She decided it would be in her best interests to stay calm and agreeable and avoid a duel at all costs. "Hello," she said to Michio. She didn't act very outgoing, but not too defensive. She tried to be indifferent and apathetic, yet at the same time sociable.

Michico exceeded her hand,ready for a handshake.

"So yeah,i want to ask you something.

Do you want to do a friendly duel with me?"She asked,calm and friendly.

If you look at Michico,you think she even won't scare a mouse,even if she can scare a bodybuilder.

Nicki said nothing. She rejected the handshake mostly for safety reasons. She did, however, turn to glance at Michio just to acknowledge her presence. However, when Michio asked for a duel, that's when Nicki was startled. She didn't show it, but she felt her heart skip a beat. This is exactly what I was afraid of! she thought. It's too risky. I have to find the other signers before I do anything! But wait a second. A dark signer would have been more abrupt right? I don't know!

 

Nicki looked at Michio. She looked harmless enough, but she was a stranger who may or may not be dangerous. I got it! She thought. I'll decline, and if she follows me, and persists, I know I have to stay away! With that, she said to Michio, "Sorry, but I have somewhere to be!" She then accelerated, took the next turn that came up, and hoped that when she looked back, Michio was gone. Only then could she continue her search.

Michico thought about it.

"hmm.....lets force her then."Michico thought.

She opened the cd drive on her duel runner.

She did put in some metal song.

She did turn,was ready to jump onto the freeway,and she activated Nitro,so she landed right on the left side of the freeway(the other side of Nicki)

She did say to Nicki:"Well then,i will force you to a duel!".

She did place Speed World 2 on her duel disk.

"Turbo duel mode activate!"She yelled.

Suddenly,Speed World 2 appeared on Nicki's duel disk.

"You cant run away now."she said,while shuffling her deck.

She did put her deck back in her duel disk.

The metal song she played was hearable in the background.

Damn it! I thought only Sector Security had this kind of technology, Nicki thought. "Alright!" she said out loud. "I don't know who you are, or what you want, but if you think you want a duel, you're sadly mistaken. Now, prepare for defeat!" Nicki placed her deck in the duel disk portion of her D-wheel and the mechanism shuffled the cards. Nicki then drew her 5 cards from her deck. "Expect no sympathy from me! I'll take the first move. I draw!" She drew an effect monster card called "Corrupt Mage":

She took the card and placed it in her graveyard and the hologram disappeared. "Now you might have seen this one before, now, I Special Summon Rare Metal Dragon!"

"Do you have anything to chain to it?"she asks.

"No," Nicki said. "Go ahead with your turn." This was interesting to Nicki. Why did she ask if I had a response to the summoning? Nicki thought. It didn't matter. This Darksworn Priest had fewer attack points and an effect that only helped if Nicki had a monster in defense mode. That's it! she thought. She's going to switch my dragon into defense position! But it won't matter if she tries to. Sure I didn't have anything to counter the summoning, but I do have something else...

"well then,i end my turn."michico said.

"Ehren's effect now activates,making me send 3 cards from my deck to the graveyard!"She said.

She did send the card on top of the deck first.

"Hah,this will take the duel to another level."Michico said.

"i pay 1000 life points..."she said,getting hurt.

She did click some buttons on her duel disk.

She did raise her hand,and suddenly,she absorbed Nicki's duel disk.

Nicki's duel disk did fly right into her hand.

"Want your deck back?

Follow me!"She said,while clicking on the nitro button.

She did make a wheelie,and she did go really fast.

It turned into a street race.
